VEIL'S VENGEANCE vied between rivals for the early lead, dispatched all challengers but BACK SEAT THRILLS leaving the turn, was challenged by that one in upper stretch but held him at bay under mild urging and kept to task late. BACK SEAT THRILLS stalked the early pace four wide, edged closer three to four wide leaving the turn, challenged in upper stretch but could not get by the winner while clearly second best. YOU AND WHO settled into stride early before edging closer five wide entering the turn, continued four to five wide on that bend, was no match for the top pair but best of the rest. RISK IT ALL was unhurried early then improved position inside through the stretch. GRANDPA'S RUMOR contested the early pace inside but just off the rail and weakened at the top of the stretch. VALLEY ROPER got away awkwardly, was forced six wide into the turn and never threatened. PULPITS PROOF showed brief speed three wide and between runners but dropped back and weakened. BOOMER WHO was outrun.

SOUTH WEST HEAT pressed the pace from the outset, took over in upper stretch and drew away in response to urging. NINETY DAYS LATE was hustled forward at the break to force the early pace inside the eventual winner but gave way in mid-stretch. BONNIES SPARKY got away well but was allowed to settle into stride off the pace, shifted five wide into the stretch and captured show honors while clearly best of the rest. SILVER MOON SHADOW raced two to three wide and between foes mid-pack on the turn, shifted in near the sixteenth pole and improved position. GHOSTTOWN BRICE broke outwardly, raced outside foes four wide on the turn and had no rally. CARTOON MAN chased the leading pair off the inside and was empty by late stretch. ZOOM ME UP was a step slow at the start, bore out entering the turn and was a bit rank before showing mild late interest. J C ROCKET HOLMES chased inside and faded. RACE WAS HAND-TIMED.

RUBYSLITTLEGEM settled into stride outside a rival, gradually shifted out coming four wide to the quarter pole then angled six wide at the top of the stretch for room, drove past inside the final sixteenth and cleared. HALOSOVERHOLLYWOOD was never far off the pace racing outside, split rivals four wide in upper stretch, shifted in a path and was outkicked by the winner. IMA KNOCKOUT advanced four to five wide on the turn, took a narrow lead in upper stretch outside the furlong marker and held that to the sixteenth pole then evened out. PAYMEFIRST was urged forward between rivals early, continued to chase the pace off the inside, shifted three wide near the quarter pole then out a further path at the top of the stretch, was caught in behind a wall of horses in mid-stretch and altered six wide then finished strongly late to improve position. PINK POWER prompted the pace three wide, was still in contention at the top of the stretch but weakened thereafter. SHOWTIME MAGIC set the pace inside under some pressure, continued among the leaders to upper stretch then gave way. SHESAREALDANDY tracked inside mid-pack and was empty late. TRUST EMILY was outpaced early, kept off the inside and never threatened.

DEPUTY DIA settled outside rivals toward the rear, began to advance three then four wide on the turn, emerged six wide in upper stretch with aim but much to do and ran down rivals in the final strides under steady urging. BEGAN AGAIN moved through between rivals to press the early pace, dueled through upper stretch, obtained a narrow lead in late stretch but was caught late. WAY BEST vied for the lead inside, continued to duel through the stretch and yielded grudgingly late. CHIEF THREE CROWNS shifted in to track the early pace inside, angled four wide nearing the quarter pole and kicked on mildly through the lane. IZE BLUE raced mid-pack four wide early, shifted to the two path midway on the turn then angled inside rivals to the rail nearing the furlong marker and finished well inside. TRICKY QUICK made a mild bid four to five wide on the turn but could not sustain the effort. DANI'S BIRTHDAY angled to the two path inside a shifting CHIEF THREE CROWNS late on the turn, needed more late. AGGIE COLEMINER settled well off the pace inside, shifted five wide into the stretch but had no rally. EXCHANGO raced close early outside rivals going three to four wide on the turn but was empty late. LITTLE WEISER made no impact. S S TEXAS OUTLAW was forwardly placed three wide prompting the early pace but dropped back and faded.
