ST PANCRAS away well from the starting gate, was briefly three wide on the opening bend after brushing with SEDUCTRESS, settled into the two path soon afterwards, when the previously mentioned foe tucked near the rail, sat reserved from there until midway on the far turn, was put to vigorous hand urging just before commencing to angle outward leaving the five-sixteenths pole, came from the four path into the stretch and took off after the front runners in earnest, drew abreast of the pacesetter at the eighth pole, needed only a couple of additional strides to take over, then drew clear under good handling. SWEET ZAPPER off a beat slowly, sat well reserved off the inside in the back of the pack for the opening three-quarters, turned for home five wide and responded positively once given her cue, came home with good, but belatedly, energy to secure second. PARTY OF INTEREST broke running and quickly established control, was rated along the inside, setting the splits, got let out after leaving the quarter pole, felt heavy pressure an eighth later and succumbed. HONEY TALK raced as a forward factor three wide around each bend, unleashed a challenge for command leaving the three-eighths pole, kept it up before flattening out in the final furlong. ILLEGALLY BLONDE took the inside route, maintained her ground during the initial portion of the stretch drive, directly behind PARTY OF INTEREST and lacking any real opportunity to attempt to angle outward, got the chance in midstretch and did to, came up empty after completing the maneuver. BEAUTIFUL AFFAIR rated prompting the pacesetter from the outside until the seven-sixteenths pole, tired. SEDUCTRESS made light contact with the top one early on the first turn, was taken towards the inside shortly after incident, steadied off another's heels making her way around the first turn, alternated between the rail and two path down the backstretch, chose to take up residence along the inside coming to the half mile pole and stayed the entire way on the second turn, was taken outward in upper stretch, but had little left to offer.

BWANA BABE broke outward but was pulled off the nearest foe before making any contact, moved up willingly to assume control, cut the pace from the inside, facing only token resistance along the way, approached the quarter pole, with the runner up lurking a dangerous threat to the outside, was let out and shook free during the ensuing furlong, increased the winning margin, kept to a hard drive to the end. CINCO DE MAYO MIO broke awkwardly then bumped with NIMUE, was patiently allowed to settle into proper stride and taken to the inside in the vicinity of the half mile pole, rode the rail for only a short distance, was taken in hand, pausing just off another's heels in the vicinity of the seven-sixteenths pole, spotted a clear way to the outside and went for it, angling into the three path after completing the maneuver, was let out a notch and made a menacingly three wide run to reach a good striking position by the end of the turn, got called upon after settling into upper stretch, failed to keep pace with the equally motivated winner and had to settle for the place. INDIAN BURN off the inside, was asked for a response from midpoint on the turn, swung four wide for the stretch run rallied mildly to be along for the show. HONEST GOLD tracked from along the inside, faltered. TACONIC VICTORY underwent a three wide pursuit and folded. NIMUE bumped with the runner up after bobbling at the break, was placed for four wide at the head of the stretch, had no offering to render.

SOINLOVEWITHUAM I broke alertly and sped clear of the competition under her own power to take command, carved the pace, well rated from the inside and without facing any serious pressure, continued along on the same scenario until upper stretch, extended the margin when let out, held sway, kept busy to the end. SUNNY SMILES sat reserved within striking distance from the outside under a firm hold until the five-sixteenths pole, spun from the two path into the stretch and got called upon, rallied with good energy during the stretch drive to garner place honors. A NEW YORK PHILLIE was unhurried for nearly three-quarters, angled gradually to be four wide by the three-sixteenths pole and displayed a good kick en route for the show. SONG FOR SIENA raced along the outside within range, made an abbreviated bid entering the stretch, but soon flattened out. JILLI'S JOY bumped soundly leaving the starting gate, raced three wide until the five-sixteenths pole, finished willingly to improve position in the lane. S S TRAVERSE sat in midpack, placed slightly off the inside, was guided over to the inside nearing the end of the backstretch, rode the rail from the half mile pole to the furlong marker, vacated the premises to steer clear of a weakening rival, but lacked the necessary response. PURELY MAJESTIC made a quick move to attain the pocket trip, contently tracked the pacesetter, got asked for some run in the vicinity of the five-sixteenths pole to keep pace, was placed in the two path for the stretch drive, made no headway on the top one, tired steadily departing the furlong grounds. MONTICELLO DOLL bumped soundly between rivals at the start, lagged behind for the initial six furlongs, attempted to commence a stretch bid four wide at the top of the lane, but wasn't up to the task. SILVER SQUAW was steadied at the start, the direct result of making solid contact with MONTICELLO DOLL and getting knocked sideways, saved ground thereafter and was outrun. READY FOR AUTUMN loosely stalked the pacesetter from the outside, was asked for a response coming to the five-sixteenths pole, but failed to fire.

MS. LYDIAN away well, stalked the front runners from the outside, was asked for a response turning for home and gave it, narrowed the gap from the front runners during the run through the furlong grounds, continued onward relentlessly, wrested away the lead from BULLET BABY just prior to the wire, then edged away, driving. JAZZ LIFE (BRZ) took up the chase from the outside, was let out a notch leaving the five-sixteenths pole and picked up enough speed to take the three path away from AUSABLE CHASM, forcing that one to swing four wide into the stretch, altered course slightly wider in the vicinity of the three-sixteenths pole, then closed in with good energy down the center of the course to garner place honors. BULLET BABY broke near the top and got engaged in a spirited tussle with TORRONE soon after the start, went at it head to head with that opponent from the two path down the backstretch and around the bend, continued the battle after turning for home until the sixteenths pole, grabbed a slim advantage at that station but with the top one in hot pursuit, gave in to the winner's challenge by deep stretch, losing out on the place as well in part due to her earlier efforts. FRAZZIE was grabbed hold after breaking outward a couple of steps, got quickly put back on course and took up position in the pocket, tracked the embattled pair from there, bided time, with the rider applying a firm hold on the reins during the run around the bend, slipped outward upon entering the stretch, maintained position as best as she could, never fully roused while never fully clear until it was too late. STELLARS THEORY lightly bumped at the start, tucked along the inside early down the backstretch, took the inside route on the turn, was under encouragement cutting the corner into the stretch, launched a menacingly rail rally to loom a serious threat by the eighth pole, but could not sustain the bid. TORRONE hand urged to the front, got hooked up with BULLET BABY in a pace dispute, raced as a team with that rival, with never more than a head separating the pair, continued the intense fight until the sixteenth pole, but with several rivals in close proximity bearing down hard, backed away at that point and weakened steadily. AUSABLE CHASM departed the backstretch three wide, had that path taken away by the runner up just past the five-sixteenths pole, spun four wide into the lane, but had little left to offer. UNKNOWN WONDER bumped at the start, raced three wide and failed to reach a contending position. ALWAYS A PARTY bumped with UNKNOWN WONDER after stumbling at the start, availed of a narrow opening, sneaking her way to the rail in the vicinity of the half mile pole, was kept on hold, caught along the rail behind a fellow foe likewise biding her time, from the five-sixteenths to the quarter pole, found enough room to angle into two path in upper stretch, sat reserved behind rivals while proceeding down the stretch, steadied off heels near sixteenth pole, and failed to pick up interest thereafter.
