PINKY BRIER broke awkwardly and was off a step slow, moved up to establish a good position on the inside, chased along the rail on the turn, was put to the crop approaching the quarter-pole, came out into upper stretch then moved further out, bumped with PURPLE DEVINE just inside the eighth-pole, was carried in by that foe and bumped several more times in the final furlong and just missed fourth position.

GOOD LORD got bumped at the start by SALMING due to pressure from REDACTED breaking outwards, chased five then four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under coaxing midway, continued three wide into upper stretch, rallied to poke a head in front a furlong out, edged away to the finish kept to task. SEEKER'S HOPE coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside, got let out taking the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was caught a furlong out, ran on to chase the winner home clear for the place honors. FORT NELSON coaxed from the start, chased briefly along the inside before taking to the two path, came under encouragement three furlongs out, angled four wide for home and kept on to the finish. SALMING got bumped at the start by REDACTED who broke outwards, and was pinched back against GOOD LORD, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn ridden along from the three-eighths marker, angled five wide for home, weakened in the stretch. REDACTED broke out at the start bumping SALMING and pinching that foe back against GOOD LORD, chased four then two wide under urging from the three-eighths, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, weakened. ELENI brushed the off side stall at the start, chased four then five wide remaining patient until asked for run with five-sixteenths to go, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals to the finish. DINGHY BAR settled well back in the field, raced inside for most of the turn, shifted to the two then three path late on that bend, moved out some in the stretch and lacked the needed response while just able to get the show. BOOTSY'S A RASCAL was hustled from the gate, showed speed then chased the pace, dropped from the two path to the inside on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch and tired. PRIDE OF THE UNION was hustled from the gate, tracked the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the three then two path on the turn and came up empty. MO CURLS was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, moved in early on the backstretch, went around the turn in the three to four path and was no factor. BABY MEANIE dropped back early, angled in leaving the chute, raced inside for most of the turn then shifted to the three path, came out to the seven path into the stretch, dropped in outside the furlong marker and showed little. CLASSIC COMMANDER veered out at the start and was off slow, angled in early on the backstretch, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
