ELIMINATE was last away then bobbled shortly after the start, settled on the outside, was asked in the five path on the turn, tucked to the three path late on that bend then moved back out to the four path, rallied in the seven path into the stretch and closed well to get up in the final sixteenth and prevail under confident handling. CASTLE CHAOS bumped soundly with UNLIMITEDPOTENTIAL at the start, settled off the pace, moved up with a half-mile to run, made a rail bid early on the turn, took the lead at the three-eighths pole, responded well under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, drifted out coming to the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while able to get the place. UNLIMITEDPOTENTIAL bumped soundly with CASTLE CHAOS at the start, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the four then five path on the turn, made a bid in the six path into the stretch, battled outside of the runner-up into the final furlong and was outfinished while clear for the show. THREE TECHNIQUE tossed his head a bit at the start then was sent hard, moved up to get the lead then set the pace under pressure to his outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, vied inside on the turn, lost the advantage with three furlongs to run, came into the stretch in the four path, chased under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. MILES AHEAD pressed the pace on the outside of the leader, was urged along in the three then four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and faltered.

TRUST ISSUES got brushed at the start by UNCLE JIM due to pressure from TIMAEUS breaking outwards, prompted the pace outside the top pair four paths off the rail down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and seized command just outside that station, swung three to four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive coming under challenge a furlong out, rebuffed that foe to hold sway to the finish. SHOOT THE NICKEL a bit reluctant to load prior to the start, got coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside coming under a ride near the quarter pole, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid to latch on the top one a furlong out, got repelled by that rival and then came mildly again to latch on at the finish. UNCLE JIM got bumped at the start by TIMAEUS, who broke outwards and conceded two to three lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased four to five wide under urging nearing the quarter pole, angled six wide at the head of the stretch, kept on to the wire. GOLDEN SYMPHONY coaxed from the gate, established the front inside six furlongs to run and showed the way along the inside under pressure from a pair of rivals, yielded the front while coaxed along at the five-sixteenths marker, cut the corner into upper stretch and weakened. TIMAEUS broke out at the start bumping UNCLE JIM, who in turn brushed TRUST ISSUES, pressed the pace three paths off the inside and three wide through the turn loosely between rivals, took over narrow and brief command with five-sixteenths remaining, got headed for the front just outside the quarter pole and spun three wide into upper stretch, then tired through to the finish.

SECURED LANDING moved well out in the track early, gained to get the lead coming to the three-quarter pole then showed the way, dropped from the five path to the three path very early on the turn then made his way to the two path while extending the advantage, responded well when roused coming to the three-sixteenths pole, extended the advantage under the crop into the final furlong and proved much the best under steady urging. SAGAMORE MISCHIEF was hustled from the gate, held the lead early, lost the advantage nearing the three-quarter pole then raced just off the pace, chased inside on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, swapped back to his inside lead late and earned the place while no match for the winner. FARM TEAM moved up under restraint with six furlongs to run then prompted the pace on the outside of the leader, dropped from the six path to the four path very early on the turn then went to the three path while asked, dropped back late on that bend and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. CENTAVO was urged early then taken in hand briefly off heels, settled towards the rear, was roused late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the three then four path, was driven into the stretch in the five path and failed to rally. REGISTER had his head turned to the inside at the start but broke with the body of the field, came in and brushed with a foe, settled off the pace, was roused in the two path on the turn and lacked the needed response. GOLDEN PLATE moved up with six furlongs to run then stalked the pace on the far outside, dropped from the seven path to the five path very early on the turn then moved to the four path under urging, chased into the stretch and came up empty. KNOX was carried in at the start, dropped back while showing no speed, saved ground on the turn, came off the rail into the stretch and was no factor.
