FOUNTAIN LAKE controlled the tempo along the inside, turned back BOURBON SOCIETY leaving the second turn, dug in to meet the challenge of CHILLAX entering the stretch, battled on doggedly and was unyielding through a prolonged drive. CHILLAX settled in hand, ranged up four wide through the second turn, loomed large and came to level terms a furlong out, fought on but was unable to best the determined winner. SANSONE contended off of the inside, was in traffic and shuffled back leaving the second turn, altered course sharply to the outside to be clear and continued on willingly. CROMWELL lagged well back, came under a ride with three furlongs to run, swung to the far outside entering the stretch and was making up ground. BOURBON SOCIETY prompted the pace outside, disputed the issue to the stretch and tired. STURDY settled saving ground, moved up through the second turn, got through to make his bid entering the stretch but lacked the needed late response. COFFEE TALK was allowed to settle, went wide throughout, mild bid entering the lane, but failed to make headway through the drive. BANDED HUMOR broke slow and was never a factor. KNICKS GATE contended off of the inside to the second turn and dropped out.

LEMON MUFFIN was off slow and spotted the rest multiple lengths at the start, advanced between rivals approaching the five furlong pole, tracked the leaders from the two path into the turn, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch, rallied to bid at the furlong grounds and drove clear. GENEROUS LOVER stalked five deep and outside of rivals early on, tucked down with five furlongs to go, inched closer three wide around the turn, bid in the four path in upper stretch, led as an outer rival challenged at the furlong grounds but got outkicked and held place. TAPIT QUICK brushed an outer rival at the start, saved ground off of the pace, tipped outwardly to the six path in midstretch and rallied late but was denied place. NORMANDY QUEEN bobbled slightly and brushed with an inner rival at the start, prompted three to two wide into and around the turn, forged an advantage entering the lane, dug in in the three path as an outer bidder challenged in upper stretch, got headed by that one and a wider challenger at the furlong grounds and gave way. HOME GAME vied two wide and between horses while exchanging bumps with her inner counterpart leaving the chute, failed to sustain pressure between the top pair into the turn, chased turning for home, but lacked a re-bid and yielded. IZZY'S MONSTER lacked speed two wide and between horses, spun into the lane in the five to four path and moved up. DESERT RHAPSODY pressed four deep early on, stalked the leaders down the backstretch, but came under hard urging in pursuit entering the turn, then weakened in the five path entering the lane. GRACE ON GRACE saved ground off of the pace, but to no avail. SECRET STATEMENT vied for the lead inside of rivals, traded bumps with an outer foe leaving the backstretch, led before being headed entering the lane and weakened. DON'T BRING CRAZY was brushed between rivals at the start raced off of the pace in the four path before fanning to the seven path into the lane and tired. BARBRATINA broke outwardly, trailed in the five path and got outrun.

TIZ SECURE raced in the three to four path along the first turn and tracked the pace early on, made a bid nearing the lane, was in the four path into the lane, continued the bid down the lane from between horses but hung in the late stages. VALENTINIAN raced along the inside in the first turn and trailed the field early on, fanned into the seven path entering the lane and moved up in the stretch run. RAPTURE raced in the two path along the first turn while back early on, was in the five path into the lane and improved position down the lane. RACING DRIVER had to alter sharply around pulling up foe late in the first turn, was in the three path into the lane and improved position late in the stretch. BRACKET BUSTER stalked the pace early along the inside, was in the three path into the lane and faded late in the stretch run. YINZER was rank to place along the first turn four wide, settled in along the backstretch, raced in the three path into the lane and was empty late in the stretch drive. VAMOS CARLITOS was through after a half. SORCERER'S SILVER raced between horses along the first turn, was pulled up and taken off the track via the equine ambulance.

PATRIOT SPIRIT stalked the pace, made a bold bid four wide, shook clear entering the stretch, kept on well but was unable to resist the winner. KUPUNA was close up between rivals, angled out entering the stretch to be clear and continued on willingly. INVEIGLED disputed the pace three deep to the stretch and gave in. CASTLE CHAOS broke a step slow, was unhurried into stride, moved up between foes into the turn, angled out entering the lane and improved position. ASHCROFT settled inside, got through and finished with a belated advance. ACCRETIVE was allowed to settle, took closer order in traffic, angled out entering the stretch but flattened in the drive. BEST ACTOR flashed pace along the inside to the turn and caved. CHIRON passed the tiring ones. NEW KING vied between horses through the turn and tired. QUALITY CHIC was never a factor. OSBOURNE was forwardly placed along the inside to the turn and stopped.

PIN UP BETTY took back from between rivals around the first turn to track two wide into the backstretch, advanced three wide and along with an outer rival around the far turn to bid turning for home, battled between horses through midstretch before gamely clinging to an advantage from her outer counterpart in the final sixteenth, but was bested late and missed. MOVIN' ON UP stalked along the inside, chased between horses while moving out to the four path in midstretch and ran on late to reach show at the wire. FIVE TOWNS (GB) pursued from midpack along the inside, then from the two path around the far turn, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch, rallied widest into the final sixteenth, but leveled off late and got outfinished for show by an inner foe at the wire. TAX IMPLICATIONS (GB) stalked three to two wide around the first turn, bid along with an outer pair at the five sixteenths pole, sparred with those rivals through midstretch but gave way with a sixteenth to go. VENENCIA (FR) was briefly coaxed from the gate yet was slow into stride early on, settled off of the pace along the inside, moved three wide and between horses around the far turn and improved position late. SACRED WISH hopped slightly, brushed the outer stall door leaving the gate and was off slow, trailed along the inside, then four wide around the far turn, floated out to the six path into upper stretch, then only offered a mild kick and failed to threaten. SERENE SERAPH (IRE) showed the way uncontested in the two path early on, saved ground into the far turn before meeting challenges from a trio of outer bidders turning for home, but got headed entering the lane and weakened.

SMOKEN WICKED was bumped and bothered at the start, tracked the pace early along the four path, raced near the rail in the turn, tipped into the two path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch drive. INNOVATOR chased the pace from the six path, raced two wide in the turn, was in the four path into the lane and faded late in the stretch. CALIFORNIA BURRITO came out at the start and was done early. BUILT was through after a half.

AMBIVALENT was unhurried while saving ground, got through entering the stretch, shifted out but was blocked behind a wall of horses, altered back to the inside and improved position. COPPOLA set the pressured pace along the inside, was headed entering the stretch and gave in. RUN CARSON pulled to contention between horses, but weakened leaving the turn and faded. ROGUE LIGHTNING (IRE) contended four wide, came five wide but failed to make headway. MISCHIEVOUS ROGUE was allowed to settle four wide and failed to respond. EAMONN broke a step slow and never recovered.

NYSOS pursued from midpack four deep, shifted to the five to six path in upper stretch, sustained gradual progress to bid passing the furlong pole, vied late as bidders on either side challenged and missed among foes while dead-heating for place. BOOK'EM DANNO bumped an inner rival at the start, raced forwardly along the inside while under consistent moderate coaxing, chased from the two path around the turn, split foes in the four path in upper stretch to bid and forge an advantage passing the furlong grounds, but was caught by bidders on either side late. MULLIKIN leaned outwardly leaving the gate pressed four deep into and around the turn, bid entering the lane, vied with inner rivals from the five path in upper stretch, but got headed by an inner bidder at the furlong grounds and yielded between rivals late. JUST STEEL broke outwardly and bumped a rival at the start, saved ground off of the pace and advanced inside of rivals. TEJANO TWIST was void of early speed, got brushed to the four path by an inner rival around the turn, fanned out to the eight path in upper stretch and stayed on mildly. HOIST THE GOLD bumped with an outer foe leaving the gate, prompted two wide and between horses, vied around the turn, dueled in the three path in upper stretch but gave way among foes in the final furlong. GIANT MISCHIEF set a pressured pace along the inside, clung to an advantage from a trio of prompters into and around the turn, but got headed in the two path in upper stretch and faded. EXTRA ANEJO tracked two wide and between horses, got briefly keen while in a bit tight among foes at the five furlong pole, chased in the three path around the turn, then tired while delaying changing leads until midstretch. HERE MI SONG bumped with an inner foe at the start, pressed three wide and between horses, the faded turning for home.

GIOCOSO raced four wide along the first turn while back early on, was in the four path in the far turn, fanned into the eight path entering the lane and moved up late in the stretch run. IRON MAN CAL raced in the three path in the first turn, was three wide along the far turn, shifted into the five path entering the lane and leveled off down the lane. MAXIMUM PROMISE raced three wide in the first turn, was in the seven path into the lane while never a threat. MEGALODON was never a factor. HAMMERHEAD broke a tad slow at the start, was bumped while on the rail into the far turn and lacked any late bid down the lane. CLASSIC OF COURSE raced in the five path along the first turn, was four wide in the far turn and through after a half. WARLANDER raced two wide in the first and tracked the early pace, was near the rail in the far turn and folded up down the lane.

SCYLLA settled saving ground, steadied from tight quarters near the eleven-sixteenths pole, shifted out to be clear, circled five wide through the turn and into the lane and improved position. EMERY contended four wide, but weakened between horses entering the stretch and faded. POSITANO SUNSET was unhurried into stride, dropped well back, came five wide and finished with a belated advanced. VAHVA was forwardly placed inside, got through entering the stretch, tipped out near the furlong marker, but toiled fruitlessly through the lane. BENEDETTA settled off of the inside and was never a factor. MYSTIC LAKE opened clear to set the pace, was collared leaving the turn, relinquished the lead entering the lane and gave way readily thereafter. MISS SUSAN B showed little.

MERCANTE vied two wide and between horses before ceding the front to an outer counterpart into the first turn, stalked outside of that one down the backstretch, re-engaged and vied around the far turn, dueled moving to the three to four path in upper stretch, gamely clung to an advantage among foes into midstretch, but was outkicked by an outer rival in the final sixteenth and held place. HIGHWAY ROBBER was off half a beat slow, saved ground off of the pace, ranged up in the two path to bid inside of the leaders in midstretch, but got outkicked and missed place. GOLD PHOENIX (IRE) trailed along the inside, sustained gradual rail progress to vie for minor placings leaving midstretch, but leveled off late. RUNNING BEE laid off of the pace two wide and between horses, then from the three path around the far turn, chased in the six path in upper stretch, tipped out to the nine path in the final furlong and offered a belated kick to miss fourth. REDISTRICTING (GB) prompted along the inside before backing off to track entering the first turn, tipped to take aim outside of the top pair and from the four to five path entering upper stretch, bid and dueled into the final furlong, but got outkicked between bidders and flattened out. INTEGRATION pursued from midpack along the inside before seizing a gap to track two wide and between horses leaving the first turn, chased in the four to five path in upper start, pursued behind foes into the final furlong, brushed with an outer rival while encountering traffic in the final furlong and ran on mildly. CAMEO PERFORMANCE settled off of the pace in the four to three path around the first turn, inched closer four wide around the far turn before floating to the seven path into upper stretch, but lacked the needed punch to offer a bid in upper stretch, got outkicked in the final furlong and yielded. GIGANTE vied three deep before clearing off entering the first turn, showed the way before vying with an outer rival around teh far turn, dueled in the two to three path in upper stretch and faded between horses passing midstretch. TAKING CANDY prompted among the leaders before checking back entering the first turn, tracked three wide, pursued within striking range turning for home, but got floated to the five to six path entering upper stretch, kept on between rivals into midstretch, but brushed with an inner rival and weakened with a sixteenth to go.

SOVEREIGNTY clipped a rival's hind heels and bobbled slightly soon after the start, settled towards the rear in the two path, bumped with an outer rival while in the five path entering the far turn, progressed five to six wide while following JOURNALISM's advance turning for home, ranged up to bid outside of that one in upper stretch, dueled into the final sixteenth and edged clear. JOURNALISM bumped with an outer foe leaving the gate before being put in tight at the start when CITIZEN BULL veered out stacking up a number of runners to his outside, leveled into stride toward the inside through the first turn, shifted out inside the five-eighths pole, commenced a swift attack picking off runs rapidly through the second turn, came five wide and poked his head in front inside the three-sixteenths pole, battled on but was unable to resist the winner in the final yards. BAEZA settled off of the pace four to three wide, inched forward between horses with a half mile to go, but bumped with an inner foe then an outer rival while steadying at the five sixteenths pole, spun for home in the five path, rallied while drifting out to the nine path in midstretch, yet sustained his charge in the late stages to miss reaching place. FINAL GAMBIT was squeezed and steadied hard at the start, lagged at the tail of the field, launched a sweeping move seven wide, was fanned out ten wide entering the stretch, fought on doggedly and was making up ground. OWEN ALMIGHTY grazed the outer stall door upon leaving the gate, pressed close up three wide, ranged up under urging to bid outside of the leader entering the lane, gained an advantage before a pair of outer rivals took aim in upper stretch but got outkicked by them in upper stretch and yielded. BURNHAM SQUARE bumped with an inner foe at the start, settled in hand, tucked in to save ground within striking distance, was put in tight when ADMIRE DAYTONA came in near the half mile marker, was bumped and checked, losing position, settled back into stride readily, altered out and weaved through traffic willingly on the second turn and through the lane. SANDMAN brushed with an outer rival soon after the start before rating well back in the three path, bumped with an inner rival while pursuing in the six path into the far turn, took that bend six deep before swinging to the nine path into the lane, got outkicked by an outer foe in upper stretch then moved up. EAST AVENUE exchanged light contact with an inner rival leaving the gate, stalked three wide, chased down the backstretch, then gave way while being brushed between rivals turning for home. CHUNK OF GOLD had his hind heels clipped by a trailing rival shorty after the start, recovered to pursue from midpack three to two wide around the first turn, crept closer with a half mile to go to track around the far turn, but only managed to chase between rivals into upper stretch and lacked a bid. TIZTASTIC brushed with rivals on both sides soon after the start, was void of speed along the inside, came under coaxing with nine sixteenths to go, pursued between horses into the lane, ran on in upper stretch, but steadied when blocked behind rivals entering the final furlong and failed to menace. COAL BATTLE required a shoe repair in the paddock, was bumped by an inner rival at the start, recovered to pursue from midpack four to three wide around the first turn, chased while getting outmoved by outer foes around the far turn, but steadied when put in tight quarters between horses in the five path at the five sixteenths pole, moved to the seven path spinning into the lane and lacked a bid. LUXOR CAFE hopped at the start to get away a step slow, angled in to save ground, was put in tight and steadied nearing the furlong marker for the first time, settled between rivals, worked his way forward into the second turn, boxed on in traffic bumping with BAEZA with five-sixteenths to run, split rivals entering the stretch but weakened in the final furlong. NEOEQUOS was bumped and forced out at the start, contested the pace outside, edged clear on the second turn, was headed entering the stretch and gave in. PUBLISHER was off a beat slow before grazing with an outer rival shortly thereafter, bumped with an inner rival and steadied back after a furlong, settled off of the pace two wide and among foes around the first turn, took the far turn in the four path and failed to factor. CITIZEN BULL broke out severely stacking up five runners to his outside, disputed the pace toward the inside, relinquished the lead into the second turn and retreated. AMERICAN PROMISE was bumped at the start, tracked along the inside, made an early move and jammed between horses to vie for the lead but came up empty on the second turn and dropped out. RENDER JUDGMENT leaned out and bumped a rival at the start, raced off of the pace three wide and was done early. FLYING MOHAWK was jostled between horses early, settled in the second flight and was never a factor. ADMIRE DAYTONA (JPN) was put in tight at the start, recovered quickly and contended between horses on the backstretch, angled in after the half mile marker, bumping BURNHAM SQUARE, came up empty thereafter and faded fast.
