NATIONAL ECLIPSE broke outwardly, stalked closest to the clear leader and from the three path, proved no match turning for home, lugged inwardly whlie yielding place at the three sixteenths pole then weakened on his left lead. QUOKKA raced off of the pace near the inside then failed to menace. CHARBON pursued from midpack in the five path then faded around the turn. NIP N TUCK lagged behind in the three path and never got involved.

BARKSDALE set the pace in the two path, dug in while meeting an outer challenge in midstretch, drifted out and bumped that bidder at the sixteenth pole, battled with that one thereafter and clung to an advantage to the wire. HIGHLY FLAMMABLE stalked whlie moving to the inside into the turn, tipped to the four path to take aim on the clear leader in upper stretch, ranged up to bid at the furlong grounds, took contact from the leader at the sixteenth pole, recovered and battled on through the late stages but was denied. CHIRINGO tracked along the inside, shifted off the of the rail at the five sixteenths pole, floated out to the five path in upper stretch then proved no match for the top pair. REAL MACHO trailed in the five path, fanned to the six path into the lane and failed to factor. MISTER MMMMM came out at the start, pressed the leader from the four path then faded around the turn. THE RIDER OF HIGHLY FLAMMABLE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST BARKSDALE ALLEGINGING INTERFERNCE IN THE FINAL FURLONG. BY GRACE broke a step slow, brushed with an inner foe and steadied back at the start, trailed in the four path, moved to the inside turning for home, encountered traffic passing the three sixteenths pole, shfited out and failed to factor. EPICURE brushed with an outer foe at the start, stalked from the four path then faded between horses. BAYOU BABY brushed with an outer rival leaving the gate, raced off of the pace along the inside while held up behind foes into the turn, shifted out to three to four wide nearing the lane and made little impact. TRACTION PARK lacked speed while tucking to the five path into the turn then faltered shortly after.
