COAL FIRED set the early pace inside soon facing pressure, was overtaken into the turn, steadily dropped back on that bend shifting out in upper stretch, kept on late despite drifting a bit to get up for show honors. DEWY'S DENALI was far back early, came out in late stretch running on mildly late. TIP TOE JOE pressed the pace putting a short head in front briefly from between runners in the vicinity of the seven-sixteenths, vied between then inside on and out of the turn, weakened soon after.

BIJOU BABY shifted in early settling off the pace nearer the inside, was patiently handled stalking in behind runners on the far turn, split foes in mid- to late-stretch to take a narrow lead, just held. STREETWHEREYOULIVE switched out early settling outside foes at the rear into the first turn, bided time through the far turn, swung six wide into upper stretch, was gaining late to get up for place but too late for the top prize. RAZZLE RED was bumped at the start, raced between foes at the back into the first turn then inside a rival edging closer up the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn, rode the rail and had room in the stretch, kicked on mildly inside but needed more. BEST CUPCAKE settled outside off the pace, was urged along past the five-sixteenths racing four to five wide on the far turn, needed more in the stretch. GOODBETTERBEST bumped a rival at the start, possessed the early lead briefly heading to the first turn, moved up inside an outside foe to press briefly early up the backstretch, continued in close pursuit before applying further pressure along the inside into the far turn, came off the fence leaving that bend, faltered in the lane. LADY BLAKE was sent clear, set the pace from outside off the rail, gave way in the stretch. MOMBAYLA was outpaced early, trailed into upper stretch, came out and made no bid.

MAGICSTRIKESAGAIN exchanged a bump at the start, moved up outside foes four to five wide on the turn, bid in upper stretch, drew clear in mid-stretch drifting in a bit, held. SEQUOIA STARS had some bumps between foes at the start, settled last but one shifting in a bit, fanned out seven wide leaving the turn, gained steadily and chased the winner home but was second best. HYPERLINK broke on top but was promptly overtaken and ceded the lead to stalk from between runners in the second group, saved some ground on the turn biding time and dropping back, came out five wide for the drive, kept on late. BLAZY was soon in front with a brief early lead, was overtaken by inside foes and settled in to stalk those three to four wide, bid late on the turn taking the lead again near the quarter pole, was overtaken by an outside foe in upper stretch while drifting in a bit, weakened thereafter. SHOW ME THE MUNNY was forwardly-placed stalking and shifting in a bit, moved in further racing in behind the leading group two to three wide on the turn, attempted to split rivals in upper stretch but was closed off, altered out seven wide at that juncture and ran on. BIG TIME STORY got away well coming out a bit, was prominent early then stalked the pacesetter leaving the chute, moved between rivals to a narrow and brief lead past the three-eighths, floated out a path or so leaving the turn and weakened in the stretch. TREGETOUR lacked early speed dropping far back early, passed outside a foe on the turn then came out a bit for the drive to improve but was never near enough to threaten. OVERVIEW got away slowly and was shut off at the start, was thereupon urged forward inside to make the lead after the opening three-sixteenths, set the pace inside but soon faced outside pressure, was ridden along when headed three furlongs out, came up empty. BLACKJACK MAN exchanged a bump at the start, was forwardly-placed in pursuit mid-pack and shifting in, chased briefly then dropped back and faded.

TIME FOR TRUTH got away well, stalked three wide up the backstretch, came into upper stretch four wide, lugged in a bit, kept on and struck the lead nearing the sixteenth pole edging away from rivals and prevailed. BARKSDALE settled off the pace, advanced outside four to five wide on the turn, kept on in the lane, held the place. ACCRETIVE stalked just off the leaders, shifted in leaving the backstretch, saved ground in behind on the turn, came out a bit then lacking room shifted back in near the three-sixteenths, could get through inside but ran on evenly. OSBOURNE soon sped clear to dictate the pace, was challenged on the turn, came into upper stretch just off the rail, lacked the needed late kick. MY NOBLE KNIGHT lacked significant early speed racing near the rail into the turn, came out a bit on that bend then further to be six or seven wide in upper stretch, failed to threaten. I DON'T GET IT broke out a bit, stalked the leader from off the inside, was under urging three wide passing the five-sixteenths, came up empty. DE' MEDICI broke well but soon dropped back, fanned seven wide into upper stretch, made no bid.

ROYAL CAUSEWAY settled off the pace in behind saving ground inside, came out five wide in the stretch, surged past late. FELINE CURIOUS shifted in early, settled in behind tracking the leader, moved out four wide at the top of the stretch, struck the lead in upper stretch, was outfinished. LIMELIGHT moved quickly to the lead, dictated terms near the inside, shot clear in upper stretch but had no extra. SIGFRID bumped the outside foe lightly at the start, moved forward in range four to five wide into the first turn, stalked just off the leaders moving in a bit heading for the far turn, raced between foes near mid-pack on that bend, angled eight wide in upper stretch, kept on late to get up for the super. LET'S BE FRANK was forwardly-positioned just off the leaders heading to the first turn, steadied slightly about the seven-eighths when hard to handle, raced mostly three to four wide throughout and was one-paced. INSTANTLY was bumped at the break, settled toward the back near the inside, saved ground, ran on evenly. GRAND PREMIERE was sharply taken up at the start, settled at the rear trailing till past the quarter pole, swung out five wide then steadied at the top of the stretch shifting in soon after, faced some traffic late and was not persevered with in the final stages. CLARK'S CORNER broke out a bit, moved forward in pursuit in behind the leaders kept well off the inside, came into upper stretch seven wide, failed tor ally. STILL SOBER was lightly bumped at the start, shifted in soon after racing last but one and unhurried in the early stages, came out five to six wide in upper stretch, failed to rally. IN AMERICA shifted in early racing well back off the pace mostly two to three wide, swung out eight to nine wide for the drive, made no bid. BRIDGESONG was lightly brushed at the start, moved forward heading to the first turn stalking three to four wide, moved to challenge briefly at the three-eighths, could not sustain the effort and faded. ACT OF PARLIAMENT brushed lightly with the outer rival at the start then stumbled inwardly very badly bumping a rival in the process, shifted out and moved forward outside but forced five to six wide into and on the first turn, retreated.

COUPLET stalked from outside four to six wide throughout, struck the lead in upper stretch, forged clear under steady urging. SHE'S OUR TEN contested the pace from off the rail, was headed into the turn, kept on but was no match for the top ones. SONHADOR tucked in after the start unhurriedly bringing up the rear, advanced outside a foe on the turn, came out six wide in the stretch and passed tired rivals. MANCUSO forced the pace pressing from outside, put a short head in front at the three-eighths, vied between rivals on the turn, gave way in the stretch. SERENA'S SURPRISE stalked from outside, went four wide on the turn and closer to the lead, bid briefly about the quarter pole, faltered in the stretch. WILLOWY bumped a rival in the early going, was in a bit tight soon after shuffling back and shifting in, was encouraged along past the seven-sixteenths racing on the rail but was never a threat. HUDSON RIVER LINE chased from inside, was pulled up and transported off the racetrack via equine ambulance.

SUMOOD settled mid-pack off the inside, advanced willingly three to four wide on the far turn, drifted out in upper stretch now under urging, struck the lead in mid-stretch then drifted in while driving clear. PATROL SQUAD SIX stalked from outside mostly two to three wide, was under urging past the three-eighths just off the flank of the leader, was in contention into upper stretch, proved no match for the winner but had enough left to hold the place. CHAMBERSVILLE settled outside off the pace mostly three to four wide, took closer order on the far turn, kept on in the stretch outside runners but missed second. DOMINGO settled inside toward the back, came out late on the far turn coming into upper stretch four wide, had to alter out in deep stretch and ran on between foes late but needed more. UNITAS soon moved clear, set the pace inside, faced moderate pressure late on the far turn, was asked in upper stretch but yielded. VERMELHO settled outside at the rear, swung out six to seven deep leaving the far turn, failed to rally. SIXTYSEVEN MUSTANG moved forward early then was taken hold and put to light rating tactics tracking the pacesetter while saving ground, had no response when asked.
