UNCLE HAPPY had his head turned and came away slow, became rank when pulling the rider along early, saved ground from off the pace, moved out in the lane, rallied between rivals to take over late and was able to hold over HOTROCKET (IRE) in the end. HOTROCKET (IRE) trailed inside a rival, stayed on the fence through the far turn, rallied along the rail down the lane and could not get by UNCLE HAPPY approaching the wire. FINAL EDITION (IRE) traveled near the back in the two path, swung six wide leaving the far turn, closed gamely in deep stretch but was too late. TARIFF stalked from inside, bid between rivals at the quarter pole, fought three wide into the lane, put a head in front at the sixteenth pole but got outkicked by the top trio. ONE OF THESE DAYS (IRE) laid off the pace in the two path, moved into range on the far turn, tipped out at the top of the lane and finished well in the final furlong. LYLE THE CROCODILE (IRE) took control early and moved inside, got pressured in the middle stages, cleared MONGOLIAN APPLE at the quarter pole, came under threat from TARIFF shortly after, resisted to the sixteenth pole and yielded late. WE CAN reared back inside the gate, tracked from inside, fell out of range on the backstretch, drew closer on the far turn, took aim in upper stretch but failed to find the needed late kick. BIG BET JAFINSAFA raced outside a rival at the back of the pack, swung six wide late on the far turn, kept trying down the lane but needed to find more. DAKOTA COUNTRY tracked two wide around the first turn, drew closer and challenged three deep at the halfway point, failed to keep up around the far turn, spun five wide into the lane and weakened. MONGOLIAN APPLE was forwardly placed to the outside of the pacesetter early, applied pressure on the backstretch, took over dueling into the far turn, lost command early on the bend, could not keep up with the leader outside the quarter pole and faded down the lane. HURRICANE CLOUD (GB) sat off the pace outside a rival, drew closer three then four deep in the middle stages, eased further out and came six wide into the stretch, then weakened down the lane.
