HONOR HIS HALF showed the way along the inside, was cued from the rail midway around the turn, fought on while on the left lead in the two path down the stretch, but gave way in the final sixteenth. PAT HAND GIRL was unhurried at the start, trailed for most, began to close willingly along the inside at the quarter for an improved finish. AVERI EVER AFTER raced off the pace on the inside, tipped out three wide in the stretch to pass tiring foe. MISS KENNEDY raced not to far behind the pace, closed some ground going up the backstretch to stalk the pace briefly until retreating in the far turn. DEBS PRAYER raced off the pace between rivals, never threatened. CAJUN ACES broke a step slow, raced off the pace five wide, made no impact.

ASTHECOLDWINDBLOWS bumped between foes at the start, tracked in the three path, merged to the rail while being coaxed along around the turn, got stymied passing the five-sixteenths, angled out to the four path in upper stretch, kicked on to lead passing the furlong grounds, and edged clear late. MY MAN BRANDON rated inside, had to check passing the half, angled out to the three path under a ride midway around the turn, then floated out to the seven path at the top of the lane, rallied into the final furlong, but could not get by the winner. CLEARLY MAJESTIC stalked in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the turn, bid between foes at the top of the lane, kept on to lead while staying on the left lead entering the final furlong, but got outrun by an outer pair in the final sixteenth. LOUISIANA NATIVE popped the gate open prior to the start, then bumped with an inner foe at the start, and trailed throughout. LOOKSTER chased the early pace, moved up to press the pace through the far turn, took charge at the three sixteenths, kept on task for a firm finish. SAY I DO SADIE attempted to move up along the inside of the pace before the first turn but was checked back, stayed not too far behind the pace, looked to split foes in the upper stretch but had no room to do so, flattened out in the final furlong. DAY DAWNING broke sharply to claim an uncontested lead, came under pressure in the far turn until giving way at the three sixteenths, weakened then on. ROMANY ROAD raced off the pace between rivals, never threatened. WATERING was squeezed back at the start, raced off the pace four wide, took towards the inside of the stretch but failed to respond. LINDA FAYE raced off the pace, made no impact.

TO THE CHIEF tracked in the two path, came under a ride passing the three-eighths pole, floated out to the six path at the top of the lane, and improved while staying on the left lead. INVICTUS pressed the pace in the three path, was coaxed from the two path midway around the turn, but flattened in the three path down the lane. PROCTOR PHANTOM trailed inside, rounded the turn under a drive, swung from the four path into the stretch, and was gaining late but made no impact. GOOD MOJO raced up close along the inside, was pushed along the rail around the turn, but yielded down the lane. GOLDBRICK rated inside, was roused from the rail midway around the turn, but made no closing bid. MAGIC BREW quickly set a pressured pace, was challenged to duel by TAN CHULO in the upper stretch, put a nose in front at the eighth and kept in there through the finish. TAN CHULO pressed the pace three wide, challenged the leader to duel in the upper stretch, just missed for a gamely finish. KARATE ISLAND tracked the pace three wide, closed some ground in the upper stretch but was unable to get past dueling leaders. SOULMAN found position around the middle of the pack, took towards the five path of the stretch to show a mild rally but was out-finished by foes. TATERPIE sat behind the pace between rivals, had no racing room through the stretch to be able to make improvements, finished evenly. VITRUVIUS was carried inward at the start, tracked the pace from the inside, faded down the stretch. GOOD WILLIE raced off the pace three wide, never involved. AIN'T DERE NO MO hit the gate at the start, trailed for most, passed tired foe in the stretch. ZAMPINO broke inward at the start, raced off the pace, never threatened.

MIKKISONTHINICE showed the way in the two path, drew away under coaxing around the turn, and continued to kick away down the lane to be much the best.
