VEGA STAR chased the early pace, moved up to take charge at the half, came under pressure at the top of the stretch, yielded to the winner in the final furlong. CESIUM broke a beat slow, raced off the pace three wide, began making progress along the outside after half, entered the stretch five wide to pick off a couple more rivals to earn the show award. CASH HOLIDAY settled off the pace on the inside, trailed at the five eighths, passed retreating foe in the far turn before reclaiming the inside to finish well down the stretch. I BET YOU WONT tracked the pace three wide, moved up to shadow the pace through the far turn, bumped out a path at the top of the stretch by PATEK, unable to rally. PATEK showed good early speed, conceded the lead at the half, continued to stalk the pace from the inside, looked to make a four wide bid at the top of the stretch but bumped into I BET YOU WONT, weakened then on. SEEKING A SOLDIER found position around the middle of the pack, began retreating in the far turn to trail by the quarter, eased across.

I GOT THE HINT shadowed the early pace, moved up to press the pace in the turn, continued to press down the stretch but was held off by the winner. BAYOU TIME was bumped at the start, tracked the pace between foes in the early stages, unable to keep up with the top two down the stretch. DULCE LOREFICHE broke a bit outward, raced along the outside of the pack, improved position in the stretch. ANDYS PLAN B was bumped at the start, raced off the pace, passed tired foes along the inside of the stretch. MAGIC ON THE MIKE settled back to be the early trailer, passed tired foes in the stretch. SUCH A PICKLE was rated four wide, angled inside at the top of the stretch, weakened then on. AZTECA STORM tracked the pace four wide, backed off through the turn, trailed by the eighth, eased across.

MARDI GRAS EMPIRE was pinched back at the start, trailed for most, rallied along the far outside of the stretch to get up for the show award. LUNA C tracked the early pace three deep, launched a four wide bid at the top of the stretch, drifted out until being able to straighten out in the final sixteenth, improved position. MCZ settled off the pace, swung out nine wide in the stretch to make some minor improvements. RUNFORJUSTICE tracked the pace three wide, moved up to apply some pressure in the far turn, weakened down the stretch. STAR BYFAR settled off the pace, entered the stretch seven wide, angled in towards the three path at the eighth, could not rally. YORKTOWN PANTHER found position around the middle of the pack, weakened down the stretch. M L BRODY'S GEM shadowed the pace, began retreating in the far turn, trailed by the three sixteenths, eased across.

AMERICAN SELECT vied for the early lead three wide, lost ground in the first turn, continued to track the pace between foes, steadied at the five eighths, angled out four wide a the top of the stretch and came up empty. VELVETEEN vied for command from the two path, conceded the lead going into the far turn, retreated down the stretch, eased across. FLY FARTHER bumped SWEET AUNT ROSIE just after the start, carried out by AMERICAN SELECT in the first turn, tracked the pace four wide, retreated at the quarter, eased across.

GAVEL pulled up at shortly after the start, escorted off in an equine ambulance.

Z Z'S PRINCE was unhurried at the start, trailed for most, took towards the far outside of the stretch and rallied well for a respectable finish. HALF BROTHER found position in the middle of the pack between rivals, backed off the pace in the far turn, found best stride late to make some improvements. LAMPLIGHTER JACK settled not too far off the pace on the inside, faded in the final furlong. TAHOE RUN moved up to shadow the early pace from the two path, drifted out a couple paths in the upper stretch and retreated soon after. GOLDEN BANDIT tracked the pace four wide, retreated down the stretch, eased across.
