GODDESS OF BEAUTY bumped at the start, recovered to be closest to the leader while outside that one up the backstretch, continued to force the issue through the turn, moved closer with the winner inside that foe approaching midstretch, continued to run on and challenged late between rivals only to be outkicked by the top two. SILVER MAGIC broke out and bumped GODDESS OF BEAUTY, was straightened to set the pace in the two path, continued to show the way through the turn while remaining just off the inside, began to weaken just inside the furlong marker while allowing the runner up the inside, continued to gradually give way to lose position late. GEAUX AMY broke on top despite being a bit restless in the gate, showed the way up the backstretch while off the inside and under a light hold, continued to set the pace through the turn well off the inside, garnered a larger advantage into the stretch and maintained daylight to the wire under steady handling. MAMUKA stalked the winner on the outside up the backstretch, chased that one in the three then four path through the turn, could do little with that same rival through the lane, clearly second best.
