GOLDEN SAND , sandwiched at the break, found himself well off the lead after recovering then settled four to five wide, unleashed a sharp five wide run while under confident handling past the three eighths, forged clear into the lane, opened up under a solid drive in mid stretch then held firm while kept alert. PIPPIN THE WARRIOR broke slowly, rushed up soon after then checked when attempting to get out, continued tough to handle through the backstretch and run into the turn, shifted out for the drive and gave way. OUR HAM SANDWICH came out a the break and bumped with the winner, saved ground early then dropped back around the turn. EL PAPACITO sped clear early, set the pace towards the inside, met outer bids past the three eighths, failed to deny and tired leaving the quarter pole.

BELLA ESTRELA stalked the pace between horses down the backstretch, left the far turn in the three path, closed steadily outside foes and was up late. HAPPY THIS DAY stayed along the inner rail down the backstretch, saved ground the far turn, worked between horses in the stretch and finished gamely inside the winner. CANADIAN BEAR , pinched back leaving the starting gate, trailed to the stretch, swung to the eight path in upper and closed strongly. PRACTICAL ROMANCE assumed the early lead, set the pace along the inner rail and gave way late. TIERRA SANTA took over early, set a rated pace towards the inner rail, spurted away past the five sixteenths, was set down right handed nearing mid stretch, wandered outward through the final seventy yards and dug in to deny VALERIE STREET. VALERIE STREET had speed then was rated back off foes and angled out leaving the five eighths, moved up three wide approaching the stretch, closed in steadily while floated out late then was kept at bay. FEEL THE BOLT , rated inside, edged up mid turn, eased out with aim in upper stretch, chased to mid stretch then faded late. LITTLEGIRLJUSTICE , between rivals mid turn, shifted in some for the drive but failed to generate a serious run. SPIRIT AND TRUTH , away alertly, stalked the pace two wide, was under pressure between foes nearing the quarter pole and weakened. LADSFIRSTLOVE , three deep mid turn, failed to menace. GOD WILLING , sluggish from the gate, was outrun. GOTTA BE DA SHOES stumbled at the break and was away last, was under a ride making mild headway leaving the far turn, steadied when in close inside rivals mid turn then weakened.

CANDYCRUMBS , steadied soon after the break, advanced four deep leaving the turn, bid for the lead outside WHO SAYS SO in upper stretch, was floated out by that one in mid stretch and drove clear. WHO SAYS SO gained the lead outside horses entering the stretch, drifted out in mid stretch and gave way grudgingly. ISSANO chased the pace inside horses on the turn, drifted four wide in upper stretch, drifted in near the eighth pole and closed inside the top pair. REPEATINGOFCOURSE , four wide leaving the backstretch, chased the pace to the stretch and gave way. TWICE GOLD chased the early pace, saved ground on the turn and gave way turning for home. STANZA , off slowly, rated toward the inside and behind rivals into the turn, worked outward a few paths entering the lane, edged up nearing the furlong grounds, altered out to about the seven path and closed gamely. DANNER drafted back off the early pace while three to four wide, gathered some momentum approaching the stretch, shifted five to six wide, closed in to the inside of STANZA in deep stretch then steadied when in a bit close through the final yards. KATMANDU chased the pace off the rail, came three wide for the drive, worked between rivals, shifted in a bit then kept on willingly inside runners. CHIMNEY SWEEP , bumped at the break, vied inside through the opening three sixteenths, rated back off the leader leaving the far turn, eased out into the lane, moved up to take command in upper stretch, shook clear, was collared in mid stretch then weakened very late. STAR ATLAS drifted in early, raced off the pace, came four wide for the drive, drifted in near the three sixteenths, came back out then finished well between foes. LONG STRAW saved ground, eased out in upper stretch, made a run between foes, worked back inward and flattened out. SERENDIPITYMONDAY , between rivals mid turn, weakened. THUNDER CRY , bumped at the break, rushed up between foes then dueled, shook clear leaving the far turn, was taken on in upper stretch and weakened. BALD CYPRESS was outrun. Objections by the riders of DANNER and STANZA against the winner alleging interference in deep stretch were not allowed

TIDEWATER , snugly rated along the inner rail around the turn, angled to the three path in mid stretch, rallied outside SPEED FIGURES and surged clear late. SPEED FIGURES broke alertly and was immediately clear, set the pace near the inner rail and gave way grudgingly. SWILL bore out leaving the starting gate, chased outside TIDEWATER and weakened in the drive. WHERE'S RAY lacked speed behind horses around the turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch and rallied. UNCLE DAR , between horses on the turn, swung wide in upper stretch and failed to rally. SAXTON stayed near the inner rail chasing the pace around the turn and in the stretch then faded in the drive. MAYA PRINCE , pinched back leaving the starting gate, circled the turn five and was no factor. LUCCI briefly chased the pace, gave way and was eased late.

BACKSTRETCH ROSE settled four wide, took closer order under coaxing as a duel developed around the turn, pounced on the leaders soon into the stretch, forged clear under a drive in mid stretch then held firm while kept alert. ROWSIE EXPRESS cleared early, set the pace towards the inside, was joined by REPLY entering the turn, dueled under a ride past the five sixteenths, maintained a slim lead into the stretch, failed to deny the outer winner but kept on gamely to be second best. REPLY prompted the pace outside the leader, moved to engage into the far turn, sparred around the turn and into the lane, failed to kick on under pressure near mid stretch and faded. AUDIBLY lagged off the pace, saved ground under a ride mid turn, came out for the drive but failed to generate a serious finish. MEG broke inward and was away a couple lengths behind the field, regrouped and quickly gained inside, stalked into the turn, was under asking past the three eighths, came out three wide for the drive, lacked a punch past the three sixteenths and weakened. GHEE FOR THE WIN , between foes early, chased inside a rival nearing the turn, faded around the turn, swung out and came up empty.

MY GREY HUMOR sped to the front, set the pace towards the inside, was joined leaving the far turn, dueled to the three sixteenths, shook clear a furlong out then drew out under a steady drive. HAIL NO showed speed and prompted outside the winner, moved to engage exiting the far turn, battled on near even terms past the three eighths and into the lane, failed to match strides with a furlong to go, gave way grudgingly and was able to save the place. JULIA'S A FOX broke a step slow, raced three wide around the turn, worked between runners through the lane and finished well. LOUVAR broke slowly, circled six wide and rallied outside rivals. WIKOLIA LADY , taken to rate while saving ground, eased out into the lane, moved up a bit near mid stretch then needed more inside rivals. STARS ALIGN , off the pace three wide, lacked room near mid stretch, swung out and finished with interest. NOT CUZ IT'S EASY chased three wide, angled and circled five wide into the stretch, moved up some in mid stretch then flattened out. MY KINDA MISCHIEF drifted out at the break, saved ground off the pace, was blocked in upper stretch, shifted out and kept on with effort. INTEL AGENT , three wide mid turn, failed to menace. MAE BE MAE stalked the pace three wide and faded in the final furlong. ALWAYS A RYE saved ground stalking the contested pace, was under a ride mid turn, lacked a punch nearing mid stretch and weakened.
