KITTYUP chased the pace outside the winner, came in to the lane three wide, was brushed in upper stretch and weakened late. CANDY LUNA hit the inside of her starting gate stall when bearing in sharply, was outrun and hugged the inner rail around the turn. LADY HAWK TOO chased the pace from the three wide leaving the backstretch and faltered on the turn.

FABIA , a bit fractious in the gate, gained a forward spot between rivals heading to the half, secured the inside around the turn, edged up past the three sixteenths and responded to solid handling, surged to the inside of TUNED TO THE MOON to take over in deep stretch then held firm. KRISSI N prompted three wide early on, dropped back under coaxing mid turn, was paused between runners leaving the quarter pole, shifted out in upper stretch, found more leaving the furlong grounds and finished well to gain the place. TUNED TO THE MOON cleared early, set a rated pace two wide, spurted away past the five sixteenths, remained clear under a drive past the furlong grounds, failed to contain the inner winner and weakened very late. RUNSWEETLY hesitated at the break, regrouped and edged up outside foes nearing the half, chased three deep mid turn, swung out four wide for the drive, remained a presence to mid stretch then flattened out. DEVASTATING stalked the early pace to the inside of foes, dropped back to last after checking when in tight leaving the far turn, swung out wide for the drive but failed to muster up a rally. ESROH , acting up as the gates sprung, reared up to be away last, moved up wide nearing the half, was put to a strong ride pursuing past the three eighths, failed to kick on in upper stretch and weakened. An objection by the rider of DEVASTATING against the winner alleging interference around the far turn was not allowed. There was a stewards' inquiry into the start of ESROH. No action was deemed necessary.

TAJ MAHAL , slow early, was steered outside horses leaving the backstretch, circled the turn four deep, was fanned five wide when taking the lead in upper stretch and eagerly drew off under brisk urging. SIR GEORGE prompted the pace outside BALLINACLASH, was floated to the four path by that one in upper stretch and finished well while no match for the winner. PONT AVEN bumped with BALLINACLASH soon after the break, was well placed in the two path on the turn, remained in the two path in stretch and rallied mildly inside horses. BALLINACLASH bumped with PONT AVEN soon after the break, made the early lead, set the pace near the inner rail on the turn, drifted to the three path in upper stretch and weakened. MARGIE'S LAST , three deep on the turn, chased the pace to the stretch then weakened. FAYES HEART chased the pace while along the inner rail, faltered turning for home and was eased late.

BROTHER CONWAY broke inward, corrected and edged up five wide under a light hold, quickly gained and bid three deep engaging the embattled leaders, poked a head in front entering the lane, shook clear under left handed pressure near mid stretch, drifted in late and held sway. LADDIE DANCE , in close at the break, regrouped and commenced a four wide run leaving the three eighths, circled with momentum into the stretch, shifted out wider for the final furlong and finished gamely. QUICK TEMPO , off a beat slow, rushed up to take the early advantage while well off the rail, tapered in towards the rail entering the turn while dueling with DAUFUSKIE ISLAND, dug in when taken on by the winner mid turn, battled past mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. SPOTTED BULL broke inward and was away last, corrected and settled off the contested pace, advanced along the inner rail mid turn, shifted out for the drive and churned on. PIT STOP MAN , three to five wide, chased past mid stretch then flattened out. TINY LAKE , urged along early while towards the inside, raced between rivals past the five sixteenths, swung out for the drive and came up empty. KBCYA LATER dropped back early and failed to generate a stretch response. DAUFUSKIE ISLAND was hard sent from the gate, joined QUICK TEMPO from his outside, disputed the pace into the turn, failed to kick on between rivals past the five sixteenths and weakened.

CASEOFTHEMONDAYS hopped slightly at the break, disputed the early pace outside FLIRTY BAJAN, was hooked on his outside by FINNY turning for home, battled between those two through the lane and got the good bob at the finish. FINNY , close up outside horses down the backstretch, left the turn three wide, challenged for the lead in upper stretch and just missed in a game performance. FLIRTY BAJAN bobbled leaving the starting gate, stayed along the inner rail disputing the pace to deep stretch and gave way grudgingly. CALL ME VICTORIOUS chased the pace, saved ground around the turn and drifted wide in mid stretch. LIKE TYSON bore out leaving the starting gate, was outrun and swung wide leaving the turn. RIVER CITY RUNNER remained along the rail and was outrun.

SHE'S NOT A LAD sped to the front and was taken to the inner rail, hugged the rail dueling with TASTY TIME, repelled that one in upper stretch and drew out while kept under encouragement. LOVELY LOOKIN LILI stayed in the three path around the turn and had a mild rally. TASTY TIME disputed the pace outside the winner to the stretch then faded. GREATWHITEFLEET saved ground on the turn, remained near the rail through the stretch and failed to rally in an even effort. ITHADTOBEBLU stumbled badly at the start and was no factor. BESHAREIT trailed.
