SEARCY , urged inside prompting the leader, eased back off of that one near the half, shifted out and came back on three wide into the lane, closed gamely outside the winner but wasn't quite good enough. ELLINGER took over between runners early then shook clear from an inner foe near the half, widened the advantage two wide past the five sixteenths, was joined from her inside in mid stretch, stayed willingly to the sixteenth pole then faded. WORLD ON FIRE chased off the inside, circled four wide with a run nearing the lane then flattened out. NOTMYFIRSTRODEO broke outward bumping with ANDRAS, dropped off the pace, was ridden along three wide past the five sixteenths and failed to generate a solid finish. MAXIMUS SPEED broke inward bumping and tightening WIN NO JOKE, dropped well off the pace, saved ground around the turn, worked outward in the drive and had some belated action. WIN NO JOKE , bumped and pinched back at the break, was not a factor. D HOPPER stalked three wide, was ridden along nearing the quarter pole, failed to kick on and tired through the lane. ANDRAS , bumped at the start, saved ground and faded.

CAIRO SURPRISE , lightly steadied in close quarters soon after the break, stalked from the two path around the turn, found room near the inner rail in the stretch, gained the lead near the eighth pole and swerved out near the sixteenth pole. WHERE'S RAY stalked the pace outside horses, advanced four deep entering the stretch, finished gamely and was forced out by CAIRO SUPRISE near the sixteenth pole. WAR HUMOR , right to the front, remained along the rail setting a pressured pace, drifted to the two path turning for home, was overtaken in mid stretch and weakened late. WARHEART bumped CATAHOULA MOON when bearing out leaving the starting gate, prompted the pace outside WAR HUMOR and weakened the final furlong. POINT LIAM , bumped by CATAHOULA MOON when that one was forced out soon after the start, was no factor and raced widest in the stretch. CATAHOULA MOON bumped POINT LION after being bumped and forced out by WARHEART soon after the start, raced along the rail in the stretch and weakened. DEAN DELIVERS stayed well off the rail on the turn and was not a factor. Following a stewards' inquiry and an objection by the rider of WHERE'S RAY, CAIRO SURPRISE was disqualified and placed second.

WICKEDDIVINE , away well, stalked the leader while three wide, was pushed along past the five sixteenths, closed determinedly under strong handling, reeled in SHADOW SURGE nearing the sixteenth pole then drew clear at the wire. SHADOW SURGE sped clear early, set the pace off the inside, drifted out from left handed asking in mid stretch, dug in when confronted, fought on to deep stretch then gave way grudgingly. FEAR NOTHING , forwardly placed between rivals, was under asking mid turn, shifted in for the drive, pursued past mid stretch then came up empty. OUTDOOR CAT , brushed at the start and away a bit slow, regrouped and edged up between foes leaving the five eighths, angled out into the turn then briefly tapped the brakes, was under a solid ride past the five sixteenths, shifted out five wide and gathered some steam late. WINNING TRIP stalked inside, idled off heels near the quarter pole, remained inside while on his left lead past mid stretch then faded. PUDGE BOY PALACE , taken to rate while saving ground past the five eighths, worked outward in the drive and had belated interest. AND SUM bore in on a foe leaving the gate and exchanged a bump, drifted in soon after tightening HOLIDAY EXPRESS, was used four wide leaving the far turn and reached contention, chased three deep mid turn, failed to kick on in upper stretch then retreated. HOLIDAY EXPRESS , bumped at the break, checked when in close soon after, dropped off the pace and failed to menace. AGREED was bumped and put in tight at the break, regrouped and was rated along well off the pace, came three wide for the drive and was eased late. There was a stewards' inquiry into the start. No action was deemed necessary.

CONTEMPLATION bumped with BUILT BY KHOZAN leaving the starting gate, raced along the inner rail on the turn, eased off the fence turning for home, worked to the outside near the eighth pole, closed and was up in time. BUILT BY KHOZAN , reluctant to load into the starting gate, bumped with the winner leaving the starting gate, chased the pace outside ELVIS HIMSELF, gained a short lead near the eighth pole and continued gamely. WITHOUT BORDERS remained along the inner rail on the turn encountered traffic inside the eighth pole and finished gamely. LANNISTER lacked speed, was taken to a very wide path in mid stretch and rallied late. PARKES , reluctant to load into the starting gate, lacked speed, worked between horses in the stretch and passed tired ones. ELVIS HIMSELF , sent to the front, set the pace along the rail and tired in the final furlong. FIRMANTOWN , three wide on the turn, chased the pace, was well placed in mid stretch and steadied in traffic late. WATCH OUT WORLD swung to the four path leaving the turn and lacked a rally. BRIE'S IN TOWN chased the pace outside horses and gave way. MAJESTIC BLUE was outrun.

R J'S ICE , away in good order, secured the inside nearing the half and stalked, seized an opening along the rail and advanced past a trio of foes to clear under confident handling, spurted away nearing mid stretch, was given a brief right handed ask then held firm while steadily hand ridden through the final sixteenth. LOVE YOURSELF settled off the pace while saving ground, eased out and moved up between runners leaving the three eighths, shifted out five wide for the drive, straightened away and finished with good energy to be clear of the rest. J C'S BOYS broke outward, corrected and settled early well off the rail, gained mid turn while four wide, angled six wide into the stretch and churned on. ISAIAH FIFTYTHREE showed speed and prompted three wide from the outside, bid to engage the leader mid turn, forced the issue between runners soon after, gave willing chase of the clear winner then faded through the final seventy yards. COUNTRY BUMPKIN hopped at the break and was away a couple lengths last, regrouped and moved up off the rail into the turn, chased four wide past the three eighths, shifted in near the three sixteenths then came up empty. NANTUCKET LOVE , brushed early, was steadied into the turn, angled three wide nearing the lane then offered some late action between horses. GIMME TWO SHOTS , four wide stalking the pace, bid four deep past the five sixteenths, chased into the stretch and weakened. FORTUNE HILL sped clear early, set the pace two wide, was hooked from both sides leaving the five sixteenths, fought briefly then weakened. PAINTMYMASTERPEACE , shuffled back soon after the break, dropped well off the pace, angled five wide into the lane and had belated action. KING OF THE CROSS gave early chase between foes and weakened. MY PAL BILL , sluggish from the gate, was outrun. TRANSQUAKING was nudged up early to be in range, shifted in to chase then weakened mid turn.

ITALIAN SOIREE saved ground on the turn, worked outside at the head of the stretch, swept to command near the eighth pole and drew clear under brisk urging. EPIC STYLE bumped with GETAWAY PALACE and BURNER ACCOUNT at the start, hugged the inner rail around the turn, moved to the two pat in upper stretch and gamely split horses inside the eighth pole. MISCHIEF MAXEY chased the pace, was well positioned in the three path turning for home, stayed on her left lead and weakened. SALLY'S GOLD prompted HOWLER, was over hauled in mid stretch and weakened. GETAWAY PALACE bumped with EPIC STYLE leaving the starting gate, circled the turn three wide and failed to rally. BURNER ACCOUNT bumped with EPIC STYLE at the start then drifted wide on the turn. HOWLER set the pace along the inner rail and faltered the final furlong. ANAITA hit the outside of her starting gate stall then trailed.

COPPER GHOST hugged the inner rail down the backstretch stalking the pace, moved to the three path leaving the far turn, took the lead in upper stretch and drove clear. MUNNY PROBLEM , steadied when pinched back leaving the starting gate, circled the far turn four wide, challenged for the lead outside the winner in upper stretch and flattened out. ROKTAR bore in leaving the starting gate, chased outside ROSIE'S WORDS, bid for the lead leaving the far turn and weakened through the stretch. FREE REFILLS stayed near the inner rail on the far turn, was well positioned turning for home and weakened. ZENCAT , four deep the first turn, raced in the three path on the far turn and was checked in traffic approaching the stretch. CHATBOT , steadied in tight quarters entering the first turn, was outrun. ROSIE'S WORDS , sent to the early lead, remained along the inner rail and tired leaving the far turn.
