BELLINI GOLD accelerated to the early lead, stayed off the rail on the turn and into the stretch, drifted in in mid stretch and lasted under steady encouragement. PONEY ISLAND , a bit rank in narrow quarters along the inner rail entering the turn, saved ground on the bend, swung outside in upper stretch and rallied. BARBED WIRE BARBIE , three deep leaving the turn, moved to the inner rail in upper stretch, altered course in mid stretch and hung between the top pair. REGAL FLAIR broke sluggishly, was four deep entering the turn and failed to be a factor. LUCKY TIN TIN , checked in traffic near the half mile pole and again near the three and a half furlongs pole and failed to be a factor. FORTUNE GARDEN chased outside the winner and gave way. LOAF OF SOF trailed.

COSTA LINDA , off last when bumped and forced in by SWEET BOURBON TEA, recovered then steadied off heels when advancing into the turn, quickly regrouped and took advantage of a seam when LEGEND'S GIRL drifted out soon after, rolled up to bid three deep then went clear under a light hold mid turn, drifted in to be close to the rail leaving the three sixteenths, opened up under a few left handed asks then continued well in front while mildly hand ridden to the wire. REBELKA sped to the early lead, drifted out some nearing the turn, was hooked from both sides then steadied back off of the leaders leaving the three eighths, angled out four wide for the drive, kept on gamely outside ENGAGE AT WILL and nipped that one for the place. ENGAGE AT WILL , urged from the gate, prompted then bid along the rail to take a brief lead nearing the three eighths, shifted out three wide after the winner cleared off, chased on willingly to the inside of REBELKA and just failed to hold second. SWEET BOURBON TEA came in at the break bumping the winner, dropped off the early pace and angled in, was urged along while cutting the corner into the lane then came up empty through the final yards. LEGEND'S GIRL flashed speed, drifted out to about the four path into the turn, shifted wider for the drive and faded.
