DIG BABY DIG tracked inside with the middle pair, responded when asked to go on approaching the quarter pole, swung out to the five-path for the stretch run, then produced a strong finish to collar the leaders in mid-stretch and win going away in the end. COUNTESS broke sharply, dueled with SHESALITTLEDEVIL to the stretch, put that rival away in upper stretch, failed to change leads through the stretch, and was overtaken by the winner in the final yards. FINITO rushed up after a slow start to track three-wide in mid-pack, dropped back to last heading into the turn, kept to task through the stretch, and finished well enough to gain the minor award. SPILL THE SUGAR got a level start, then backed off, raced mid-pack through the early stages, then went evenly through the stretch while lacking a closing bid. SHESALITTLEDEVIL dueled outside of a rival from the start, then gave way in upper stretch. OVER REACTED was a bit slow into stride, trailed initially, made a brief forward move heading into the turn, but had nothing to offer in the stretch.

E Z WORDS was last to begin, worked forwardly up the backstretch about two paths off the rail, was blocked behind horses through the turn, then rallied up the rail in the stretch to be along in time. TEXAS HUNK raced three-wide near the back of the field early, made a sweeping move around the turn, to be in range of the leader at the quarter pole, continued to close the gap in the final yards, but came up short. PROMISE ME MONEY dueled outside of a rival to the half, then kicked clear through the turn, held gamely to deep stretch, then yielded late under left-handed urging. TAKE THIS CITY dropped back to last after a level start, chased the field to the stretch, came five-wide and finished up well, just short of hitting the board. SHANGHAI CHARLIE was under coaxing early to join the early pace, backed off to a tracking position, was under a drive from the three-furlong pole, kept on well to be a threat in the final furlong, but could not find the winning late kick. RED DIRT ALLEY pushed to the lead, briefly dueled with PROMISE ME MONEY, clipped back heels with SHANGHAI CHARLIE just before the half-mile pole, dropped off the pace, tried to rally, remained in range to deep stretch but was outkicked in the final yards. CAPTAIN DAKOTA hustled away from the gate but was not fast enough to join the early pace mix, started to lose ground after passing the half-mile pole, and was outfinished in the late stages.

SHOGUN tucked in behind the pace close up on the inside, slipped through an opening along the rail at the quarter pole to take the lead, then driew off in the stretch. RENTON raced at the back of the main pack through the first half-mile, tipped out to the four-path for the stretch run, wandered a bit in upper stretch but finished well to take the second prize. GAME TIME DECISION was always prominent three to four wide, took the lead at the quarter pole, had some trouble with the lead change in upper stretch and faltered but managed to hold third. FOLLOW THE STAR responded when roused from the start, gained the lead approaching the six-furlong pole, led the way down the backstretch with one rival keeping close on the outside, yielded the lead at the quarter pole, and was outfinished the rest of the way. FAST CONNECTION hopped slightly at the start, then was under some coaxing after the start but did not respond, settled near the back, and did not offer a late bid. DOCKET got shuffled back after the start, raced at the back through the early stages, made a forward move on the far turn, but was unable to sustain the bid into the stretch. BONFIGLIO moved up through the clubhouse turn to join the leaders turning down the backstretch, backed out midway through the far turn, then had little to offer in the stretch.

CURLY'S ONE THING assumed command early, without really being asked, had one rival in close attendance, shook off that one approaching the stretch, and drew off in the final furlong. FIFTYSHADESOFNAUTI chased two-wide in futile pursuit of the eventual winner, kept on well through the stretch to finish well clear of the next horse. MR BIG SEXY was reluctant to load, raced close up three-wide to the half-mile pole, then could not keep pace, but chased the top pair home to earn the minor award. NO REGRET was hard to load, then outrun from the start, dropped far back, and was never a factor. CAHILL'S LEGACY a little slow to get going, was close up four-wide to the half, then was outrun the rest of the way.

ADGER settled inside with the tracking pair, came out to the three path at the quarter pole to set up a stretch bid, hit the front in upper stretch, and held firm under threat from a pair of rivals on the outside. AMBIGUOUS was unhurried from the break, and the early trailer, made a forward move four-wide on the far then, then six wide into the stretch and finished up well but came up short. UPTOWN TAPPIN settled between horses in the third flight, waited for room late on the far turn, then finished well when clear, closed late but came up short. ELIGIO dueled two-wide to the stretch, ceded the lead in upper stretch, but kept on gamely, but was outfinished in the final stages. CLEMENTS RIDE was the inside horse in the third flight, produced a late bid, bumped a tiring rival in mid-stretch, and was gaining ground but was too late. HASKELLED went three-wide into the first turn, settled there through the middle stages, swung five-wide into the stretch, but was not doing enough in the late stages to threaten. BAYOU BOY set off from the gate determined to get forward position, was joined by ELIGIO to the outside, dueled that one to the stretch, and gave way in the final furlong. FLYING TEX tracked behind the pace two-wide, was always in range through the early stages, came under a hard ride passing the three-furlong pole, and came up empty in the stretch.

MIDWAY VOW was roused from the start but unable to contest the early pace, settled in a tracking position inside, moved out to the two-path approaching the quarter pole, took command at the top of the stretch, and drew clear under steady handling. HOLLYWOODBOULEVARD made the early running under mild pressure, surrendered the lead leaving the quarter pole, and kept on well to hold second. SHE'S A GOLD LADY pressed the pace two-wide for the first half mile, tried to ramp up the pressure late on the far tun but was turned away, weakened in the stretch but kept on well enough to hold the minor award. TWO PRACTICAL lacked any speed and was the earlly trailer, settled not far from the front in the run down the backstretch did not have much to offer in the stretch run but managed to finish ahead of one rival. TYPHOON TESSIE got hung out four-wide on the first turn, continued wide in the run down the backstretch, dropped off the pace midway through the far turn, floated out five wide on the last bend, and was not a late threat while finishing out in the middle of the track.

SIP AND GO was in a bit tight after the start but jumped out to a clear early lead, shrugged off the chasers at the quarter pole, and held clear through the stretch. ONE DEAL was outpaced early, dropped down to the rail for the run through the turn, tipped out to the three-path in the stretch and finished well to just get up for the place. JUST HANGIN RIDGE showed good speed from the break and vied in the initial stages, ceded the front and took up the chase of SIP AND GO through the turn, came under pressure near the quarter pole, chased the eventual winner, and was tagged at the wire in a close finish for the second spot. DAPILOT moved up after a slow start to be in range of the leaders heading into the turn, was always close, but was unable to find the winning late kick. CAPOTE'S GLITTER showed little interest early and was far back, then made a belated rally to regain contact with the field before the finish. APPEAL GUY broke best and was briefly up on the pace, dropped out at the half, and was not involved in the late stages. RUSTY GADGET tracked between horses in mid-pack, made a four-wide bid into the stretch but weakened before the final furlong.

IT'S ALL RIGHT settled mid-pack four-wide down the backstretch, ranged up approaching the three-furlong marker to join the early fray, engaged in a stretch duel with BIG TIME CHARLIE, bested that rival inside the sixteenth, then held off a late charge from HIGH CINCO to prevail in a driving finish. HIGH CINCO broke well but took back to a tracking position through the early stages, moved up in the three-path through the turn, came into the stretch with aim on the duling leaders, closed well, and just missed. BIG TIME CHARLIE broke on top, seized the early advantage, was joined by a pair of rivals on the inside, moved clear of those foes passing the half-mile pole, was travling well approaching the quarter pole, then hooked into a spirited duel through the stretch with IT'S ALL RIGHT, and gave way inside the sixteenth marker. FLASHOUT was a little slow into stride, then rushed up to join BIG TIME CHARLIE on the lead, remained in a stalking position on the rail through the turn, then was outkicked in the stretch. LEXI'S COMEBACK was void of early speed and dropped far back early, angled to the inside before the turn, continued to chase, and managed to pass tired foes in the stretch. SHOP TIME allowed to settle after the break, was outrun and under the crop while falling behind early, came under the crop again near the quarter pole, but did not respond. OLD MONEY exchanged bumps with the outer rival, was hustled up into the early pace mix, dropped back after passing the half-mile pole, and had nothing left in the stretch.

TURN NORTH settled at the back for the first half-mile, started a forward move near the three-furlong pole, came five-wide into the stretch, and finished well under strong handling and intermittent urging to get up. VICTORY FOR VETS left the gate a little sluggishly, but responded when roused, sped to the front on the first turn, led the way with rivals on either side down the backstretch, kicked on late on the the far turn, came into the stretch with a narrow lead but was surrounded by challengers, kept on well to best all but the winner in a solid effort. REGAL TERKA tracked in the back half of the field but not far from the leaders, launched a bid leaving the seven-sixteenths marker, loomed four-wide as the field spread out across the track, finished willingly but came up short. TX CODE broke on top but ceded the front ot VICTORY FOR VETS, kept to a stalking position along the rail, slipped through along the rail into the stretch, loomed a threat in upper stretch but was outkicked. GOLDEN GRIT got away well, pressed the pace three-wide after the field turned down the backstretch, lapped on the outside of VICTORY FOR VETS to the far turn, then kept on with good interest but was outfinished in the late stages. MR JAWS took up sharply going into the first turn, then settled three-wide in mid-pack, did not respond when asked to go on midway through the far turn, and offered no bid in the stretch.

EMANCIPATION settled inside at the back of the field through the early stages, moved up into contention late on the turn, waited for room, altered course in mid-stretch to the four-path, and surged ahead of a cavalry charge of six horses across the track in the final yards to prevail. ESSENTIAL TIME took back after the start and settled two-wide at the rear of the field, launched a bit approaching the quarter pole, angled out five-wide into the stretch, and put in a good late run but came up short while being floated out late by an inside rival. ZED missed the break, spotting the field a head start, advanced three-wide around the first turn, ranged up to be in range of the leader heading into the far turn, was under a full-out drive approaching the quarter pole, finished well under right-handed urging while drifting out. DEACON JONES pressed the pace two-wide, got a head in front at the top of the stretch, but could not pass the inside rival and was outfinished. QUALITY STYLE was rank on the first turn as the rider tried to settle off the pace, raced close up on the rail to the far turn, slipped through an opening near the three-sixteenths marker, was the inside horse in the scramble to the finish, but was not good enough. HELLO COME IN hustled away from the break, made the lead into the first turn, was left to dictate moderate early fractions, quickened midway through the far turn, still had a narrow lead past the furlong marker, but came up short in the blanket finish. ROYALIST pressed the pace three-wide, dropped off the pace near the three-furlong pole, and was the only entrant not involved in the finish.
