RUBY RIVER vied with JUSTTAKETHECANNOLI for the lead from along the inside and gradually edged clear late. JUSTTAKETHECANNOLI vied with RUBY RIVER from along the inside but was unable to stay with that one late while proving to be second best. JAGANNA prompted the early pace while three-wide and held on well for the show in a steady effort. HERO QUEEN saved ground while being reserved off the pace but lacked a rally. THRU THE VINE was reserved off the early pace, rallied four-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. DR SCHUSTER settled in the middle of the field, rallied five-wide into the stretch and then went evenly late. STRAVA was forwardly paced racing two-wide, took the lead entering the stretch and then weakened slightly late. ATKINS was allowed to settle, came two-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. LUCKY'S PRIZE was reserved off the pace, came five-wide into the stretch going outside of the loose horse and lacked the needed rallty. EL MEXICANO was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch and was gaining slightly late. COWGIRLSLUVME was off a step slow then steadied and altered course avoiding the fallen rider in the opening sixteenth and was unable to recover the lost ground. JACOBI came in taking the path of DYNAMIC GIFT in the opening sixteenth of a mile then vied for the lead to near the stretch racing along the outside and tired. HEIDI N SEEK vied with JACOBI for the lead from along the inside and tired. DYNAMIC GIFT clipped the heels if JACOBI in the opening sixteenth then stumbled losing his rider and was walked off following the race. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS INQUIRY JACOBI WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SIXTH AND PLACED SEVENTH.
