HISTORIC advanced to the lead soon after the start and set the pace up the backstretch, took on the challenge of UNITER entering the turn, roused for more near the quarter pole, responded, turned back bid, steadily widened advantage and finished clear. UNITER was away in good order and tracked the pacesetter up the backstretch, advanced to race in aim entering the turn, given cue near the five sixteenths pole but could not by the eventual winner, ran on with response through the lane but had to settle for second best. GOLDEN HURRICANE was off to a good start then weakened off the pace, launched a four wide bid entering the top of the lane, sustained a steady bid and got up late for show. BAD JOKE settled in opening stages then edged closer along the inside mid-way up the backstretch, coaxed just off the inside around the turn, kept under steady pressure through the lane but had no punch and got edged late for show. GOLD DOLLAR sat up close in the opening quarter, weakened under a ride around the turn and continued to falter through the lane.

LADY RILEY contested the early pace from the inside, flattened slightly off the lead late on the turn, launched a rail rebid with a furlong out, dug back in gamely under firm handling and edged ahead approaching the wire. MATHURINE set a pressured pace two wide, held a slight edge under pressure from both sides around the turn, shook off rivals in upper stretch, took on the inside rebid of LADY RILEY in the final furlong and got outnodded in final strides. BELLE BLAZE settled off the early front runners, hustled along four wide turning for home, ran one paced in the upper stretch then found more a sixteenth out and gained ground to the wire. NALLA D tracked the top pair in early stages then advanced to challenge MATHURINE around the turn, could not match strides at the head of the lane, remained in strong contention then evened out late. SHELLEY'S MONEY rated off the early pace, urged four wide a furlong out, had a mild improve but needed more for serious impact. KATIES FACTOR raced off the pace, had no response when called upon and faded in the lane.

MY ANGEL MARIE vied for the early lead with STRORMING SALLY, shook off rival mid-turn, saved ground turning for home, responded willingly under right handed pressure, pulled away to a commanding lead and wrapped up late. RHYTHM AND BRUISE tracked the top pair near the inside, came under a ride two wide at the head of the lane, was no match for the winner and had to settle for second best. IDES OF DEMARCH raced near midpack, urged four wide at the head of the lane, churned on with interest and finished well clear over the rest. STORMING SALLY came away in good order, vied inside of MY ANGEL MARIE into the turn, could not match strides near the five sixteenths pole and retreated in the drive. HOLLY SPRINGS raced off the pace, continued near the inside leaving the turn and had no response. NOW I'M YOUR DAISY failed to move into contention. DANCING DOLLY was off slow at the start, raced in the back and was never involved.

HELLO FRANKIE vied for the lead in opening stages, continued to battle outside of PRINCE AND PENNY into the lane, dug in gamely under steady encouragement and turned back rival late. PRINCE AND PENNY vied for the early lead, continued duel inside of HELLO FRANKIE entering the lane, fought back gamely from the inside but failed to match strides in final stages. ECHOBAYOU tracked the early leaders, came under a ride around the turn, cut the corner entering the top of the lane, hustled along two to three wide and cleared show. OLE MIKEY BAGELS raced in aim for the early lead, flattened mid-way around the turn and weakened in the drive. IKNOWAGUY came away awkwardly at the start and raced in the back, swung four wide into the upper stretch and lacked a needed rally. BOUNDINGS MISCHIEF raced in range in the early going, failed to advance under pressure around the turn and weakened in the lane. DAY BOSS chased the early pace and steadily retreated. ULTRA MIKE failed to move into contention and dropped far back in the drive.

REDNECKERTHANYOU sped to the lead at the start and set the early pace, held clear around the turn along the inside, roused for more leaving the furlong marker, ran on with response along the rail and held on. CINCO DE MO tracked the pace from the inside, continued in close contention just off the inside going by the quarter pole, was set down two wide for the drive, remained in striking range into the final furlong, was inching up on winner approaching the wire but failed to get by in time. SUCCESSION settled off the early pace, saved ground turning for home, gained closer contention, tipped two wide, given cue and secured a share. KISSED A CADET sat off the early front runners, asked for more four wide leaving the quarter pole, raced five paths wide at the top the lane, drifted inward and lacked the needed response for serious impact. SKALKAHO chased the top pair on opening stages, ran evenly two wide around the turn and had no punch in the drive. ANNUAL BUDGET raced just off the early pacesetter, flattened late on the turn and gave way in the lane.

OUTMATCH raced near mid-pack in opening stages, was ridden along four wide around the turn, advanced to challenge for the lead, dueled four deep a furlong out, continued to match strides with WAR BOY past the sixteenth pole then dug in, found more and edged clear. WAR BOY was forwardly placed, continued in close contention three wide around the turn, dueled inside of OUTMATCH in the final furlong, battled on with good response but could not match with with winner late. VINO VIDA saved ground around the turn, cut the corner turning for home, ran behind a wall of rivals, altered course with a furlong left to run and gained a share. GALVANIZER dueled for the lead in opening stages, continued to battle past mid-stretch then wilted under prolonged pressure. KIND SOUL came away last at the start, was ridden four wide around the turn and lacked a needed rally in the lane. GOLDEN BIZ matched strides for the lead soon after the start, battled for command past mid-stretch then came up empty. CAUSE I'M CRAZY showed response in opening stages then weakened of the pace, swung four wide into the upper stretch and offered no late bid. MODERN BAND lacked speed and dropped back in the lane.
