JOYFUL JOYCE awaited room through the turn, split foes into the stretch and surged away driving. AMERICAN PEACHES lagged far behind then advanced wide to gain the place. LAUGHING LADY prompted the pace along the rail then proved empty in the stretch. CLASSIC MYSTERY dropped well behind then angled inside with some late energy. SEVEN P R C prompted the pace three wide then five wide into the stretch and faltered. WONDERFULVENEZUELA dropped well behind then passed fading rivals. NOUVEAU RICHE set the pace off the inside for half mile and gave way. DAISY BELIEVES lacked speed, moved inside and was never a factor. RAVENITE chased in mid-pack and stopped after half mile.

MR. MENDELSSOHN stalked two wide, chased on the turn, rallied outside entering the stretch, took over passing the furlong marker, pulled away under urging and coasted late. BANJO set the pace racing with a clear lead, dueled with the winner in upper stretch, was no match, then dug in and held well for second. PRAIRIE DUNES raced off the pace between rivals, advanced on the turn and rallied mildly outside. LUCCHESI tracked close up on the inside, chased inside on the turn, lacked a bid and finished evenly. RUN MY CARD raced off the pace, came four wide into the lane and closed belatedly outside. SCUDETTO raced off the pace inside, came three wide into the lane and failed to threaten. WAKE SURF raced three wide off the pace, chased on the turn, rode the rail into the stretch and lacked a rally.

SHEER DOMINANCE trailed far behind then rallied inside to gain the lead late in a driving finish. DONNELLY'S HOLLOW well placed behind the duelers, came out soundly bumping rival at the top of the lane causing CHASE A DREAM to fall. BOYS OF SUMMER came in crowding rival at the start, vied inside then weakened late. DESERT AIRE alternated for advantage outside and gave way in the stretch. CHASE A DREAM was roughed at the start, rallied wide into the stretch, was soundly bumped causing him to fall and subsequently be euthanized. Following a steward's inquiry, DONNELLY'S HOLLOW was disqualified and placed fourth for causing spill at the top of the stretch.

SWEET WINNER set the pace on the inside, responded when challenged, shook free in upper stretch, dug in gamely inside, then drifted out under left handed urging in deep stretch, bumped lightly with WHAT IT TIZ and continued willingly for a share of the win. WHAT IT TIZ stalked three wide, bid two wide on the turn, rallied three wide in the stretch run, closed steadily, then was bumped lightly in deep stretch and came on again to earn a share of the top spot. MUNYHUNGRY raced off the pace, chased on the turn, rallied mildly in the two path, altered course steadying behind the winner in deep stretch and gained late on the rail. ROCKET NIGHT raced off the rail, off the pace, chased three wide on the turn, moved up entering the stretch, raced outside rivals, then lacked a winning bid and flattened out late. JETHRO EXCELLENCE raced close up early on the rail, then chased and gave way. BIG DOSSER stalked close up two wide, chased inside on the turn and gave way. There were Jockey Objections by the riders of MUNYHUNGRY and WHAT IT TIZ against SWEET WINNER. After reviewing the video, SWEET WINNER was disqualified and placed third for interference in deep stretch.

COBBLE ROAD stalked two wide, chased three wide on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, dueled, edged away past the sixteenth marker and was taken in hand the final strides. NICOLE'S KING broke a step slow, raced off the pace inside, chased on the turn, angled out at the eighth pole, rallied late outside and was gaining at the finish. MAGICNTHEMOONLIGHT raced close up early on the rail, steadied at the five furlong marker, then pulled and was in tight at the half mile marker, tracked, made a rail bid on the turn, dueled, dug in gamely inside, then veered out at the eighth pole bothering SHIPMAN and continued willingly to the finish. SHIPMAN set the pace, dueled two wide on the turn, dug in between horses in upper stretch, checked when bothered at the furlong marker, then weakened some. DUCALE raced off the pace inside, advanced inside on the turn, angled out and lacked a rally. JAYJAYDEE raced off the pace between rivals, chased on the turn and failed to threaten. IMAGINIZED raced three wide off the pace, chased on the turn and gave way. After a Stewards' Inquiry MAGICNTHEMOONLIGHT was disqualified and placed fourth for interference at the eighth pole.

CHECK MY SIX saved ground throughout, lost the lead on the final turn to mid-stretch then came again ikn the final stages. YOUBETTERBEJOKING set the pace off the inside, edged clear at the quarter pole but was out-finished. ALWAYS GAMBLING was in tight entering the first turn, vied between rivals then weakened. WARRIOR'S VENDETTA dropped far back between rivals then rallied mildly in the stretch. AMEDEUS MUSIC prompted the pace three and four wide and yielded in the stretch. RERALLY settled just off the pace in the two path under rating then faded. UNION LIGHTS saved ground while outrun and lacked a rally. VANZZY lacked speed, moved very wide on the final turn fading. A claim of foul by the third finisher against the winner for interference into the first turn was dismissed.
