READY AS EVER lacked speed, rallied very wide, collared the pacesetter a sixteenth out and was just up at the wire. POINT BARROW pursued the loose pacesetter, angled inside near mid-stretch, rallied and just missed. VERY BAD GUY sprinted away initial half mile, was collared a sixteenth out and weakened slightly. CHANGE YOUR NAME went after the leader three wide on the turn and came up empty in the stretch. BIG HAWK broke slowest, raced inside and was never a factor. EASTER BLESSING flashed brief speed inside then gave way on the turn. SLEW OF FORTUNE dropped back early and trailed throughout.

SERGEANT SINATRA was off a bit slow, raced off the pace, tracked close up inside on the turn, angled out at the top of the lane, rallied outside of BATTLE ANTHEM, dueled with that rival, finished willingly and edged away for the win. BATTLE ANTHEM vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely inside in the stretch run and dueled to the finish. JETHRO EXCELLENCE was reluctant loading, vied two wide for the lead, dueled between rivals on the turn, weakened and held for third. AIRMAN TREVOR raced off the pace, bid four wide on the turn, then chased and tired. DRAKE DRIVE stalked close up three wide early, chased three wide on the turn and tired.

NUMBERS GAME prompted the pace outside, vied to mid-stretch and drew away in the final furlong under moderate pressure. BUFF GARY moved clear initial quarter mile, dueled the winner to mid-stretch and weakened. IRISH MAMBA dropped back inside then offered good late energy while no threat. JIMMY'S PAGE chased off the pace outside and lacked a response. VINO GRAY trailed far behind then caught a fading rival. BATTLE LOU flashed speed inside then began fading on the turn.

CHUBASCO SAUCE vied outside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dueled with ROCKET NIGHT into the stretch, turned back that rival in midstretch and drew clear under urging. TIZ THE COAST vied inside for command, dueled on the turn, dropped back, then came again inside to earn the place spot. ROCKET NIGHT stalked three wide, bid three wide on the turn, dueled with the winner into the stretch, dug in outside that rival, then weakened and lost second. WHOOSH stalked between rivals, chased two wide on the turn and lacked a rally. MUNYHUNGRY tracked close up on the inside, chased inside on the turn and tired.

AHSAD raced off the rail, off the pace, made a strong three wide bid on the turn, led into the stretch, responded when roused and drew clear under urging in the final sixteenth. CONCEALED CARRY stalked close up two wide, bid on the turn, dueled with the winner, was no match for that rival, then remained well clear for place honors. TRICOLOUR was outrun early, advanced inside on the turn and closed late between horses to get up for third. COJELO PA TI set the pace on the inside, dueled inside on the turn and weakened in the stretch. FROMANOTHAMUTHA raced off the pace inside, chased on the turn, drifted out a bit, then failed to threaten in the lane.
