WAUHATCHIE sprinted up between horses to make the lead soon after the start, set all the pace, shook clear in upper stretch and maintained his advantage under left handed urging. SMOKIN' HOT chased the pace along the inside into the stretch, shifted out three wide and was steadily cutting into the winners advantage late. DREAM ON BABY vied for the lead two wide into the turn, dropped back and altered course three wide nearing the quarter pole then finished determinedly outside rivals. DON'T STOP chased the winner three then four wide and lacked the needed response. BIG BUCKSALOT trailed.

MISS FOXANN pressed the pace along the inside into the stretch,, dug in under right handed urging and was along in time. REMEMBER ME away alertly, set the pace two wide until deep stretch and finished second best. CHESS NOT CHECKERS stalked the pace two then three wide and finished with good courage. TALL GIRL pressed the pace three then four wide into the stretch and faded late. TIZ INDEPENDENCE was no factor. STAR ELLA failed to menace. DIVINE FASHION was antsy in the gate, threw head her head over the side of the stall just after the gates opened and was never close. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
