ROSE RULER stalked along the inside, bid outside of the leader entering the lane, gained an advantage in upper stretch, but failed to kick clear and relinquished the advantage back to her inner persistent counterpart in the closing stages. DISMISS stalked in the three path, then ran on and held show while closing in on the top pair belatedly. CINISTER CIX pursued from midpack in the four to five path into the turn, progressed to bid for show in the four path entering the lane, sparred for that position while gaining on the leaders but was denied. SHALLUS raced off of the pace in the five to six path into the turn then moved up. TUXEDO PARK chased in the four path, moved down the inside nearing the lane and lacked a bid. GAME DAY broke slowly and shied from an outer rival at the start, trailed in the two path, advanced between horses before swinging to the six path in upper stretch and failed to threaten. NEWARK lacked speed in the two path, fanned out to the seven path in upper stretch and failed to factor. CONSOLIDATED bumped with an outer rival then steadied back early on, lacked speed in the three path and made little impact. COUNTTHECARATS was fractious in the starting gate, bumped with an inner rival early on, chased from midpack near the inside and faded.

BELIEVE IN MAGIC was urged to the early lead, set the pace just off the fence facing pressure up the backstretch, was asked at the top of the stretch, held sway under steady handling. MUSIC BURST stalked in behind the leaders in hand and off the rail, angled out five wide at the top of the stretch, gained steadily but slowly in the lane getting up for second. CADENZA bumped a rival at the start, stalked outside the second flight, advanced five then four wide early on the turn, was in contention passing the quarter pole, needed more in the lane and lost place late. BACK RING BUZZ bumped a rival lightly shortly after the start, settled in behind two to three wide, came out six deep in upper stretch, did not threaten the top trio but was best of the rest. SPINELLI pressed the eventual winner, was in contention between foes late on the turn when asked for more, weakened in the stretch. AMI'S GARNET was bumped into a rival at the start then lightly bumped soon after, chased up close early, dropped back four wide on the turn, shifted in a bit in the stretch and ran on inside to improve position. ANNIE'S ALLIE chased from outside going four to six wide through the turn, needed more. STORM CLOUD RISING stumbled and had some bumps at the start, was shuffled back soon after, raced outside five to six wide on the turn swinging eight deep, failed to threaten. JENNY LAKE was bumped at the start then early, chased three wide between foes, dropped back and faded. DIABLO SHIRAZ chased from inside, failed to threaten. JR MISS STARLET was not a factor racing off the inside.

GOLDEN SUNSHINE bobbled sharply at the start, stalked along the inside, tipped to take aim outside of the leader in midstretch, ranged up to bid at the sixteenth pole and drove past. ROYAL JUSTICE showed the way along the inside, remained in hand as an outer rival sustained pressure around the far turn, responded when set down entering the lane, held sway through midstretch, but was collared by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole and got bested. FORESEEN prompted outside of the pace-setter, but yielded once floated three wide in midstretch and safely managed show. TIZ HER MONEY pursued from midpack in the two to three path, ranged up three deep rounding the far turn to bid within striking range of the top pair nearing the lane, but flattened out in the four path in upper stretch and held fourth. LOVE HER LOTS stalked two wide, chased between rivals around the far turn, moved out to the five path in midstretch and lacked a bid. I HAD THAT ONE TOO settled two wide, swung out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to menace. DISCO RULES brushed with an inner rival leaving the gate, trailed along the inside, improved in the four path entering the far turn but failed to factor. FOURFIFTYSEVEN stuttered a step and brushed with an outer foe at the start, raced off of the pace along the inside and tired.

PETRONELLA moved forward right away, stalked from outside three to four deep just off the pace, moved to challenge coming to the top of the stretch, forged clear in the lane. BEACH BALLAD pressed the pace in hand, took over past the three-eighths, was challenged leaving the far turn, proved no match for the winner but clearly second best. NICKSIE tracked inside, moved out three wide to pass a tiring rival leaving the far turn, kept on inside in the stretch to get up for show at the wire. MOTHER GREEN stalked in behind from off the inside, came out five wide turning into upper stretch, lost show honors. TEMPLE GODDESS exchanged some hard bumps at the start, settled toward the back racing off the rail, swung seven wide into upper stretch, kept on but needed more. RHAPSODY IN MOTION broke a step slowly, moved forward between foes, chased two to three wide, swung five wide leaving the far turn, shifted in through the stretch and ran on inside. REACHINGFORTHEMOON broke a step slowly bumping with a rival and was squeezed back, settled at the rear, passed tired rivals near the inside. MALANYA broke outwardly bumping a rival, moved forward to chase from outside racing three to four wide, floated out a bit leaving the far turn lightly brushing a rival, failed to rally. TIKIHUT shifted in early, saved ground, failed to rally. SIRIUS PURSUIT was floated out heading into the first turn, pursued from outside mostly four to five wide, failed to menace. ACADEMIC FREEDOM shifted in early, raced toward the back, was encouraged two to three wide late on the far turn but had no response. RUNWAY REBEL moved quickly to the lead, set the pace inside, was done at the five-sixteenths and wilted.

WELAKA tracked from midpack in the three path, then in the four to five path around the far turn, rallied to bid outside of rivals at the sixteenth pole, sparred with an inner trio late and narrowly prevailed. FRIAR NEWTON tracked along the inside, bided time behind foes rounding the far turn, continued to encounter traffic entering the lane, found room to rally two wide and between rivals into the final sixteenth, bid among foes late but just missed at the wire. READ ON showed the way along the inside, got headed by an outer bidder entering the lane, fought on gamely and re-forged an advantage with a sixteenth to go, battled with an outer trio late and narrowly missed. SIESTA KEY broke a step slow, laid off of the pace in the two path, then between horses approaching the far turn, moved out to the four path while between rivals turning for home, rallied to bid among foes at the sixteenth pole, dueled through the closing stages but missed. GOES THE CLOWN stalked three wide, ranged up to bid at the quarter pole, led entering the lane, but failed to sustain his bid and weakened between bidders at the sixteenth pole. C F V BULLET trailed along the inside, then off of the rail around the far turn and made little impact. BIG TO DO pressed two wide, got outmoved by an outer bidder reaching the quarter pole and faded. CLASSIC LEGACY fell at the start and walked off.

CAITLINHERGRTNESS was up close tracking inside racing in hand, edged nearer willingly into the far turn, sought room late on that bend, angled seven wide turning into upper stretch, bid in mid-stretch, edged clear under steady urging. TRIAL stalked from outside racing three to four wide, bid at the top of the stretch taking a narrow brief lead, was no match for the winner but kept on to hold the place. LITERATE bobbled into a rival at the start, settled off the pace inside saving ground, advanced between foes in mid-stretch, kept on inside late. SHE'S LOOKIN LUCKY was forwardly-positioned stalking two to three wide, bid between foes coming to the quarter pole, yielded in the stretch. NEXT UP settled outside three to four wide, floated eight deep turning for home and was brushed, ran on evenly and made no bid. NANABUSH (ARG) was urged clear and shifted in, set the pace inside, gave way. VINA ARANA (IRE) chased from between foes, floated six wide and brushed with a rival at the top of the stretch, failed to rally. QUEENS COMMAND (IRE) was bumped at the start, trailed near the inside, failed to rally.

MINK'S PALACE settled well back in the three path, swung out to the seven path into upper stretch, rallied while shifting inwardly in midstretch, reeled in the leader to bid at the sixteenth pole and drew clear. PONDERING tracked from the two path, tipped out to the five path to take aim on the top pair entering upper stretch, rallied on her left lead to bid at the sixteenth pole, but got outkicked by an outer co-bidder shortly after and edged place. MS. TART vied along the inside, led into the final furlong, but got caught at the sixteenth pole then missed place. LITHE SPIRIT broke outwardly and bumped a foe at the start, prompted three deep, yielded while getting outkicked and floated out to the five path entering the lane, yet kept on willingly thereafter but needed more to re-bid for minor placings. ELLEN JAY vied two wide, then between horses into the final furlong, gave way with a sixteenth to go and was found to have bled. CIVETTA stalked four wide, chased in the five path into the lane and faded. UPHILL DANCE was bumped by an inner rival at the start, saved ground off of the pace to no avail. SHEZAFUNKYDRUMMER bobbled and was bumped by an inner rival into an outer foe at the start, trailed in the two path and got outrun.

ENCINO quickly moved clear and shifted in, set the pace inside, had enough in reserve and held the nearest challenger while kept busy. HORSEPOWER rated inside close up in behind the leader and eventual winner, moved out past the five-sixteenths, loomed a threat coming to the top of the stretch, was no match but second best. CAMEO PERFORMANCE bumped a rival at the start, saved ground inside early, moved out entering the far turn, raced four to five wide on that bend, chased the top pair home. NAPTOWN exchanged incidental contact heading into the first turn, chased three to four wide, shifted in midway on the far turn, ran on. WAGSTAFF settled inside toward the rear, moved out up the backstretch, was six wide midway on the far turn, ran on in the stretch. BEST ACTOR was lightly bumped into a foe at the start, settled at the rear, swung six wide into the stretch, needed more. OTAGO exchanged bumps at the start, was brushed lightly between foes entering the first turn, chased three to four wide, failed to rally. CHIRON was bumped at the start, moved forward heading to the first turn, stalked from outside mostly three wide, weakened. SURLY FURIOUS was off the pace outside foes three to four wide early, failed to menace.

JOE SHIESTY showed the way along the inside as an outer HOWARD WOLOWITZ applied pressure, shifted out while maintaining an advantage in the final furlong and held firm. HOWARD WOLOWITZ pressed two wide and outside of the eventual winner, shifted to the four path entering the lane, sustained his challenge through the final furlong but was fended off late. SCRIPT stalked in the three path, shifted to the five path into the lane, ran on evenly while hanging on his left lead and held show. LOFTY ADJUDICATOR bumped with an inner foe early on, tracked from midpack in the three path, shifted out to the six path into upper stretch, stayed on one paced and edged fourth late. OUT ON BAIL had his right hind heel clipped by an outer rival early on, tracked behind the leaders and from the two path, chased into the lane and lacked a bid. LUCKY SCORE bumped with an outer rival, clipped an inner foe's heels and steadied back early on, trailed in the two to three path into the lane then improved between horses. INCINERATOR raced off of the pace in the four path, fanned out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to factor. RUN CURTIS RUN got bumped between horses and pinched back early on, saved ground off of the pace to no avail.

THAILAND stalked just off and outside the early pacesetter, continued just off the new leader heading up the backstretch, bided time through the far turn, advanced when niggled along late on that bend, bid in mid-stretch, fought through the late stages and edged the inside foe. MAGINNESONTAP stalked the leading pair, made a swift early move to the lead near the five- and one-half and clear, was challenged by an outside rival in the stretch, fought on gamely but was outfinished. EMPIRE WEST settled off the pace inside a foe early but removed from the rail, was under urging two to three wide past the five-sixteenths, came into upper stretch four deep, was no match for the top pair but best of the rest. FLASH THE MAGIC moved to the fore, set the early pace inside, continued to chase, ran on. HAYES GOAL was caught outside foes three to four wide, took closer order on the far turn, was under urging passing the five-sixteenths, needed more in the lane. STILL SOBER bumped a rival lightly at the start, settled at the rear off the inside two to three deep, swung five to six wide turning for home, ran on outside. WARGAMER (IRE) had light bumps at the start, settled off the pace, raced three to four wide through both turns, needed more. BIG HAWK raced two to three wide, was asked for more about the five-sixteenths, failed to produce a bid. REFINED DESIGN settled at the rear inside, switched out, came into upper stretch swinging seven wide, failed to menace. NAVIGATE bumped a rival lightly at the start, chased, was asked for more in pursuit between runners at the seven-sixteenths but steadily dropped back. BEALE STREET BOY chased from inside mid-pack, dropped back and faded.
