DISMISS stalked in the three path, then ran on and held show while closing in on the top pair belatedly. CINISTER CIX pursued from midpack in the four to five path into the turn, progressed to bid for show in the four path entering the lane, sparred for that position while gaining on the leaders but was denied. SHALLUS raced off of the pace in the five to six path into the turn then moved up. TUXEDO PARK chased in the four path, moved down the inside nearing the lane and lacked a bid. GAME DAY broke slowly and shied from an outer rival at the start, trailed in the two path, advanced between horses before swinging to the six path in upper stretch and failed to threaten. NEWARK lacked speed in the two path, fanned out to the seven path in upper stretch and failed to factor. CONSOLIDATED bumped with an outer rival then steadied back early on, lacked speed in the three path and made little impact. COUNTTHECARATS was fractious in the starting gate, bumped with an inner rival early on, chased from midpack near the inside and faded.

BELIEVE IN MAGIC was urged to the early lead, set the pace just off the fence facing pressure up the backstretch, was asked at the top of the stretch, held sway under steady handling. MUSIC BURST stalked in behind the leaders in hand and off the rail, angled out five wide at the top of the stretch, gained steadily but slowly in the lane getting up for second. CADENZA bumped a rival at the start, stalked outside the second flight, advanced five then four wide early on the turn, was in contention passing the quarter pole, needed more in the lane and lost place late. BACK RING BUZZ bumped a rival lightly shortly after the start, settled in behind two to three wide, came out six deep in upper stretch, did not threaten the top trio but was best of the rest. SPINELLI pressed the eventual winner, was in contention between foes late on the turn when asked for more, weakened in the stretch. AMI'S GARNET was bumped into a rival at the start then lightly bumped soon after, chased up close early, dropped back four wide on the turn, shifted in a bit in the stretch and ran on inside to improve position. ANNIE'S ALLIE chased from outside going four to six wide through the turn, needed more. STORM CLOUD RISING stumbled and had some bumps at the start, was shuffled back soon after, raced outside five to six wide on the turn swinging eight deep, failed to threaten. JENNY LAKE was bumped at the start then early, chased three wide between foes, dropped back and faded. DIABLO SHIRAZ chased from inside, failed to threaten. JR MISS STARLET was not a factor racing off the inside.

TIZ HER MONEY pursued from midpack in the two to three path, ranged up three deep rounding the far turn to bid within striking range of the top pair nearing the lane, but flattened out in the four path in upper stretch and held fourth. LOVE HER LOTS stalked two wide, chased between rivals around the far turn, moved out to the five path in midstretch and lacked a bid. I HAD THAT ONE TOO settled two wide, swung out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to menace. DISCO RULES brushed with an inner rival leaving the gate, trailed along the inside, improved in the four path entering the far turn but failed to factor. FOURFIFTYSEVEN stuttered a step and brushed with an outer foe at the start, raced off of the pace along the inside and tired.

TEMPLE GODDESS exchanged some hard bumps at the start, settled toward the back racing off the rail, swung seven wide into upper stretch, kept on but needed more. RHAPSODY IN MOTION broke a step slowly, moved forward between foes, chased two to three wide, swung five wide leaving the far turn, shifted in through the stretch and ran on inside. REACHINGFORTHEMOON broke a step slowly bumping with a rival and was squeezed back, settled at the rear, passed tired rivals near the inside. MALANYA broke outwardly bumping a rival, moved forward to chase from outside racing three to four wide, floated out a bit leaving the far turn lightly brushing a rival, failed to rally. TIKIHUT shifted in early, saved ground, failed to rally. SIRIUS PURSUIT was floated out heading into the first turn, pursued from outside mostly four to five wide, failed to menace. ACADEMIC FREEDOM shifted in early, raced toward the back, was encouraged two to three wide late on the far turn but had no response. RUNWAY REBEL moved quickly to the lead, set the pace inside, was done at the five-sixteenths and wilted.

SIESTA KEY broke a step slow, laid off of the pace in the two path, then between horses approaching the far turn, moved out to the four path while between rivals turning for home, rallied to bid among foes at the sixteenth pole, dueled through the closing stages but missed. GOES THE CLOWN stalked three wide, ranged up to bid at the quarter pole, led entering the lane, but failed to sustain his bid and weakened between bidders at the sixteenth pole. C F V BULLET trailed along the inside, then off of the rail around the far turn and made little impact. BIG TO DO pressed two wide, got outmoved by an outer bidder reaching the quarter pole and faded. CLASSIC LEGACY fell at the start and walked off.

VINA ARANA (IRE) chased from between foes, floated six wide and brushed with a rival at the top of the stretch, failed to rally. QUEENS COMMAND (IRE) was bumped at the start, trailed near the inside, failed to rally.

ELLEN JAY vied two wide, then between horses into the final furlong, gave way with a sixteenth to go and was found to have bled. CIVETTA stalked four wide, chased in the five path into the lane and faded. UPHILL DANCE was bumped by an inner rival at the start, saved ground off of the pace to no avail. SHEZAFUNKYDRUMMER bobbled and was bumped by an inner rival into an outer foe at the start, trailed in the two path and got outrun.
