SHAMATEUR cleared off outside another early in the first turn to have front end to his own entering the backstretch, maintained a narrow advantage inside at the half, was clinging up top inside two others around the far turn, continued to battle on the rail in upper stretch, was no match for the winner by the sixteenth pole but did dig in late to save for the show money in a tight photo at the wire. VERY SAVVY was allowed to settle into stride trailing the field leaving the chute and through the backside, closed the gap smartly commencing a rally at the quarter pole, swung out widest gathering more speed five wide having clear run at the top of the stretch, was in full flight charging in at the furlong marker and powered past for the win in the final sixteenth. HOLIDAY WITH AMY watched the pacesetter while between foes down the backside, started to pick up the bit when asked for more run two furlongs out, angled to the three path coming closer to the leader in upper stretch, had to shift inwards when losing her path for a moment with the then leader drifting out at the sixteenth pole and surged late to get up inside horses for the secondary share at the finish line. SOUPER SUNDAY sat off the frontrunner outside down the backstretch, started to reel in the leader at the five sixteenths pole, pounced three wide in upper stretch seizing control, did not switch leads through the lane, drifted out under left-handed encouragement trying to hold off runners on either side with a sixteenth still remaining and faded in deep stretch to last for the show money at the wire. HARD TO CAPTURE travelled three deep outside runners with a half mile to go, moved in three wide at the three eighths marker, kept pace while still outside the lead duo at the quarter pole to be in the mix four wide straightening out for home and evened out in the late running to settle for a minor share in the end. KATHERINE'S GEM settled in mid-division while on the rail, was under a busy ride midway around the turn saving ground but was making little headway, had the two path behind the contesting duo at the head of the lane, could not find more for the stretch run and yielded in the final furlong. TRUE SHOT bumped a rival lightly at the start, was reserved at the rear, moved out on the far turn, failed to rally. QUIET VISTA was outside off the pace, carried out but angled in at the quarter pole, failed to menace and was not persevered with late.

DEPUTY CURLIN travelled three wide taking over command outside midway around the initial turn, dictated the easy pace while hounded outside down the backstretch, edged away from the early challenger with three furlongs still to run getting a slight breather through the final turn, was finally set down while runners closing in outside at the top of the lane and under a well rationed out ride had more when called upon to draw away again late for the win. APELDOORN tracked outside in the beginning, continued outside shadowing the leader down the back straight, was hard ridden in the two path making no gain on the frontrunner leaving the five sixteenths pole while being passed on each side by rallying runners as well, could not match strides with the top pair in mid-stretch but did finish up willingly to hold on inside for the third place share in deep stretch. PRINCECREST trailed the field early on going three wide around the first bend, had the outside position in the three path while in midfield down the back straight, offered a brief spurt three wide around horses at the five sixteenths pole, could not sustain the rally in the four path by upper stretch posing little threat to the front pair, battled outside for the show money in the final furlong but had to settle on the fringes in the end. MIND AND MUSCLE stalked near the rear settling in the two path in the beginning, galloped behind the soft pace seeing the tightly bunched group along the backside, could not advance on the far turn with the pace quickening at the quarter pole and could not be a factor on the fence in the late running.

SIR FALSTAFF stalked in hand from outside, moved nearer to challenge taking a narrow lead outside the half, dueled through the turn into upper stretch, put away the sparring partner nearing mid-stretch to take command, held off a late challenger under steady handling. EUBANK bobbled slightly at the start, obtained good position stalking from off the leaders, advanced four wide past the quarter pole, loomed a threat but couldn't get to the winner and was held off but second best. SILENT LEE was bumped at the start, outpaced in the early going, ridden along inside on the turn, came out off the rail late on that bend, kept on to get show honors. WAITINGFORAHOLIDAY settled near inside at the back, fanned eight wide leaving the turn, gained late. NO CAPE unhurriedly dropped back to last up the backstretch, came out ten wide for the stretch run, finished strongly widest of all but too late. MAD WORLD bumped a rival at the start, was slow into stride, soon after began advancing, ran up on heels steadying slightly near the three-eighths, moved out off the inside on the turn, failed to rally and ran on evenly. SMOKE MCLEOD broke inwardly, was urged forward to the lead inside, headed late up the backstretch, dueled through the turn, yielded in mid-stretch. NAMED FIREY broke in, moved forward under coaxing with brief early speed, dropped off the lead between foes chasing in behind, lacked the needed late kick. INSTANT RESPONSE stumbled soon after the start, chased from mid-pack outside, dropped back and faded. SEMPER LIBER was in tight and steadied slightly after the start, was outside foes into the turn toward the back, shifted in late on that bend, was not a factor.

ROAR OF THE CROWD had a good spot settling into stride comfortably watching the front pair early on, enjoyed what he saw isolated behind the embattled duo throughout the turn, took aim on the lead twosome three wide in upper stretch and relentlessly wore down the frontrunner in the shadow of the wire outside for the win. ISAAC LEO assumed command into the backstretch, dueled inside having a rival forcing the pace around the turn, had the fence disposing of the pesky outside foe by the furlong pole, determinedly kept on running to the wire but was unable to fend off the oncoming winner a few jumps before the finish line. CARNEW was quite content to sit back outside off the frontrunner along the backside, chased into the turn, turned up the pressure at the five sixteenths pole battling on the outside throwing it down the leader, stayed on the incorrect lead through the lane giving way fighting on the front end by the furlong marker and faded a touch late to easily hold for the show award at the finish line. CAPTIVATING NAME broke sharply at the start, dropped back to be in last leaving the chute, lagged behind runners at the half, started to pass rivals outside going three wide coming with a good run throughout the turn, shifted to the four path for the stretch drive but finished up evenly paced in the final furlong to settle on the fringes in the end. PRIME PLUS ONE was void of early speed even though being hustled soon after the start still trailing in the beginning, stalked inside runners close to the back at the half, could not make any advancement inside horses through the oval, moved to the two path in upper stretch but made little impact in the stretch running. DEMBA travelled between runners in midfield down the backside, was shuffled to last having rivals on either side at the three furlong pole, could not get into gear around the bend, angled out to the five path at the top of the stretch but could manage to pass a weary rival outside at the furlong pole. WESTMINSTER settled in mid-division three deep down the backside, offered a brief turn of foot three wide around foes at the three-furlong pole, retreated between rivals by the quarter marker and emptied out on the rail at the top of the lane.

RAPID TEST came in a bit at the start, settled mid-pack racing between foes from early on the first turn, stalked up the backstretch then edged closer past the seven-sixteenths still between, pressed the leader on the far turn, bid in upper- to mid-stretch, dueled briefly then edged past. HUNT MASTER was quick to take the lead, set the pace from off the rail, was engaged in upper stretch, dueled with the winner but was outfinished, saved the place. SOCIETY'S THUNDER settled outside four then three wide, dropped back a bit up the backstretch, moved between foes near the quarter pole shifting out leaving the far turn, gained steadily outside in the stretch but needed more. CRUDEN BAY broke a step slowly and lost the path at the start, unhurriedly brought up the rear, rallied mildly between foes. AWESOME BOURBON broke out just a bit, was forwardly-positioned tracking inside, saved ground, failed to rally. NO MORE OPTIONS stalked three wide, was asked to keep pace about the five-sixteenths, floated six wide turning for home and weakened.

AETHELFLAED (IRE) was quickest out of the gate for the early advantage leaving the chute, dictated terms unchallenged along the backside, rambled along in hand setting a brisk tempo around the turn, switched leads in an instant just off the fence straightening out for the drive and was kept to the task late to safely hold for the gate to wire score with an impressive debut. PRIME EDGE stalked ahead of one runner three deep at the half, travelled three wide around horses making steady gain through the turn, shifted out four wide at the top of the lane, closed in smartly outside horses while never switching leads in the drive and got up for the place share in the last couple of jumps before the wire. TRIP ACES settled in the third flight having runners on each side early on, had little movement around the bend, angled to the three path in tight with the inside foe in at the top of the lane, found his best stride late at the furlong marker having a clear run and charged home in deep stretch just losing the nod for the runners up share inside at the finish line. KAMASI kept tabs on the frontrunner outside another down the backside, took closer order moving three wide on the turn to bid for the lead briefly at the quarter pole, chased the winner in vain in the three path down the stretch and faded inside rivals in the final seventy yards losing a couple of placings late. CHASING MEMORIES was under a tight rein tracking behind the frontrunner along the back straight, came under a ride but was being passed by an outside rival in midturn, was urged for more on the rail turning for home, had little to offer in the drive to the wire and yielded inside foes at the sixteenth pole. ACCELERANDO veered on the break, sat in midfield four deep into the backstretch, was relegated to last getting to the fence by the half, travelled two to three wide around the turn making little gain on runners and could not offer a finish in the late running in the three path.

THOR'S CAUSE chased from mid-pack inside, came out eight wide in the stretch, ran on. AMERICAN DECISION brushed a rival at the start, was outside mid-pack three to four wide, steadily weakened. ITS IN THE CARDS bumped with a rival at the start, chased from between foes two to three wide, dropped back and faded. LOST STAR was brushed at the start, settled at the rear, made a mild advance up into rivals near the half, dropped back again soon after and faded in the stretch.

ENGLISH ACTOR had a slim lead on the inside going three wide on the first turn, galloped along up top just off the fence slowing the tempo down considerably along the backside, was collared outside at the quarter pole, fought on stubbornly nose to nose inside having the rail at the furlong marker never giving way and just missed in the very late stages with the winner edging ahead in the last few strides. MALIBU MAMBO was nestled on the rail watching the engaged pair on the first turn, followed the pacesetter sitting just behind down the back straight, drafted behind the contested duo coming under a ride through the far turn, shifted out off the lead pair in the three path at the furlong pole having a clear run, was coming on determinedly, creeping closer in the final sixteenth and took the show award between runners in a blanket finish for the four top spots at the finish line. SKYRO was under a snug hold outside watching the front three in the early stages, rallied three wide midway on the last turn narrowing the margin smartly on the lead pair by the quarter pole, threatened four wide very much in the thick of things outside the front trio at the top of the stretch, kept coming on willingly gaining outside with a sixteenth from home but had to settle for a minor share while not beaten that much for the top three positions in a thrilling late finish. WESTSIDE TIDE settled on the outside of a rival in mid-division, made little headway down the backside while three deep outside foes at the half, closed the gap three wide between runners at the quarter pole, angled five wide for the stretch drive with a chance for a piece of the prize in upper stretch but could only finish up one paced in the final eighth of a mile. LEGAL CATCH had inside position in the middle of the pack around the first bend, offered little change on the fence down the backstretch, saved ground holding his own through the last turn, shifted to the four path at the top of the lane but could not get involved in the late running. C MY MEISTER settled near the rear on the outside into the first turn, co-trailed inside another while in the three path down the back straight, could see the field through the final turn, shifted to the four path in upper stretch, angled inside at the furlong marker but made little impact in the late running. SEDBURYS GHOST leapt up at the break to trail on the fence in the beginning, shared the back end outside while in the four path at the half, offered a brief run trying to circle around horses four wide initially on the far turn, was fanned out widest in the six path turning for home and could not offer a rally outside foes through the lane.
