SPEIGHTFUL LADY broke a step slow, was unhurried into stride, responded when put to pressure inside the three-eighths pole, circled four wide and finished willingly to earn the place. SCORING CHICK bobbled at the start, rushed to the lead to set the pressured pace, shook clear through the turn, was collared entering the stretch and gave way once headed but had enough left to hold the show. DANCING DARCEY prompted the pace two wide, but weakened between horses entering the stretch and faded. GIBSON CRYSTAL settled saving ground, got through entering the stretch but lacked a response when called upon. SHE'S A PIONEER contended between horses, came four wide but came up empty in the final furlong and retreated. GRACE BY DESIGN saved ground to little avail. ITS ABOUT MIDNIGHT broke slow, ranged into striking distance between horses, but faltered leaving the turn and dropped out.

RAPPORT was sent up inside rivals to take command leaving the chute, was kept three wide while setting the pace, took pressure around the turn, was shaken up in upper stretch, dueled inside the winner to the sixteenth pole, gave way grudgingly and grimly held the place. HAPPY WEEK was ridden along two wide around the turn, moved up three wide behind rivals leaving the furlong marker, shifted out to the five path and continued on willingly while on her left lead. TIDAL POOL settled three wide early, angled in towards the rail when advancing mid turn, eased off the inside to gain between rivals in mid stretch, shifted back to the rail for the final sixteenth and continued on with interest. HELEN BELEN moved up between rivals nearing the five eighths pole to reach contention, rated close off the rail into the turn, was ridden along nearing the quarter pole, came five wide for the drive and faded. LOU'S ANGEL lost ground four wide chasing the pace and failed to respond. NICOLE H broke a step slow, recovered and advanced along the inside to stalk the leaders, remained a forward presence to mid stretch then weakened. STORMING SUZY saved ground into the turn and was outrun. FUZZY BRITCHES bobbled at the break, dropped back off the pace early and could not factor.

THIRD DAWN close up from the start, steadied in traffic near the five furlong marker, recovered, moved up three wide to challenge with a half mile to go, battled into the stretch, could not cope with the winner in the stretch but held on gamely for the place. ALWAYS A PRINCESS stumbled at the start, recovered, raced under stout restraint in traffic after leaving the chute, made a five wide run on the turn and finished willingly late. BRONX CITY GIRL bobbled at the start, recovered to race within striking distance, steadied inside near the five furlong marker when in tight, waited late on the turn when behind rivals then finished with good determination. DOUBLE ESPRESSO alternated for the lead three wide, held on well to midstretch and weakened. FIRST PASSAGE angled out in the chute when outrun, moved up six wide late on the turn but had nothing left late. EMMY DARLING forwardly placed early, steadied near the five furlong marker in traffic, recovered but dropped back on the turn then improved her position while no threat. DIRECT LINE steadied early, was outrun, saved ground on the turn and could not menace. DEVIL BY DESIGN pressed the early pace between rivals, took back a bit into the turn, stayed out in the four path around the bend and tired in the drive. BE FAIR lost her footing a bit at the start, recovered quickly, challenged after a quarter, raced off the inside late on the turn and tired in the drive. TASTE'S SIS in traffic leaving the chute, was outrun.

WILLCOX INN was hustled along three wide between horses while never far back, angled in entering the stretch, got through along the hedge and was just up to earn the show. MADMAN DIARIES opened a clear and angled in to dictate terms, disputed the issue to inside the furlong marker but grudgingly gave way in the final yards. BANNED was close up between horses, shifted out four wide and made a sweeping move through the second turn, loomed large entering the stretch but lacked the needed late response. MASTER OF HOUNDS was hustled into stride, steadied from tight quarter entering the first turn, settled in hand between foes, came four wide and was making up ground. UTLEY was rank to place between horses, leveled into stride on the backstretch, swung seven wide and improved position through the drive. HUMBLE AND HUNGRY rushed to contention four wide, contested the pace to the final furlong, but weakened between horses. AIR SUPPORT pulled to contention between horses early, angled in bumping MANTOBA (GB) entering the first turn, was forwardly placed along the inside to the three-eighths pole, shifted out leaving the second turn but faltered entering the lane and faded. MANTOBA (GB) was bumped and steadied entering the first turn when AIR SUPPORT came in, settled into stride along the hedge but lacked a response when called upon. DECIPHERING DREAMS was reserved off of the pace under a hard hold, angled out the outside on the second turn but was never a factor. ROUGH SAILING angled in away from the gate, steadied behind rivals early, worked his way to the outside leaving the stretch, lost his footing on the inside hind entering the turn, slipped and fell and was vanned off.

WARRIOR'S REWARD outrun in the three path, moved out six wide entering the stretch and finished well late. WISE DAN close up while off the inside, dropped back a bit late on the turn then lacked the needed closing bid. KINSALE KING within striking distance four wide, angled in in midstretch for a clear path but lacked a late bid. CASH REFUND closest to the pace four wide, stayed on well to the stretch, was carried out a bit by SMILING TIGER in upper stretch and tired. RILEY TUCKER reserved early, made a good five wide run on the turn, was carried out a bit once in the stretch and tired. ATTA BOY ROY prominent five wide, was carried out a bit once in the stretch, gave way late and after pulling up in distress, was vanned off. GIROLAMO close up along the inside, gave way. PASHITO THE CHE broke in the air, steadied near the five furlong marker when rushing up along the inside then gave way.

UNZIP ME chased the pace, saved ground into the lane, eased out some and finished up willingly between rivals. BRIDGETOWN moved up three wide into the turn to prompt the pace, came four wide for the drive, ranged up outside CENTRAL CITY a sixteenth out, drifted out and failed to sustain his bid. SILVER TIMBER bobbled at the break, was sent up three wide between horses nearing the turn, worked further out nearing the furlong marker, briefly lost his momentum when BRIDGETOWN drifted out near the sixteenth marker then finished up well in the final yards. DUE DATE , outrun early under some rating, steadied mid turn, got through along the rail in the drive and finished with interest. ROSE CATHERINE , three to four wide, failed to keep pace early, raced between rivals nearing the lane and failed to generate the needed response. CALIFORNIA FLAG broke a step slow, angled in three wide when rushing up into the turn, raced between horses nearing the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. GRAND ADVENTURE , outrun early while off the rail, swung out widest past the three sixteenths marker and had some belated action. QUICK ENOUGH , sluggish early, raced four wide between rivals around the turn, briefly lacked room near the furlong marker and failed to menace. WAVELINE , fractious in the gate, moved closer three wide and between rivals mid turn, angled out some in upper stretch then faded. TROPIC STORM lost ground four to five wide chasing the pace and gave way in upper stretch. STRADIVINSKY moved up between rivals entering the turn to press the pace, continued a forward factor to upper stretch then succumbed. CANADIAN BALLET lost ground five wide chasing the early pace and faltered nearing the lane.

STAY THIRSTY forwardly placed three wide, made a good four wide middle move to a forward position approaching the stretch, drifted in with a furlong to go and tired. J P'S GUSTO carried out a bit on the first turn, was outrun for a half, raced near the rail on the second turn and was no threat. JAYCITO steadied entering the first turn from between rivals, swerved out past the middle of the strip entering the backstretch, angled back in nearing the second turn, got to the rail for the stretch run and could not menace. RIVETING REASON set the pace along the inside, held on well to the stretch and tired. J. B.'S THUNDER forwardly placed near the rail, gave way in the drive. MURJAN four wide on the first turn, never menaced.

PACO BOY (IRE) was allowed to settle between horses, was walled in and waited briefly with a quarter to run, wheeled out five wide for a clear path entering the stretch, finished full of run but was left with too much to do. COURT VISION tucked in to save ground, angled out and improved position between horses through the lane. SIDNEY'S CANDY sped clear to set the pace, controlled the tempo to the final sixteenth but gave way readily once headed. PROVISO (GB) was hung wide throughout, finished with a belated gain but failed to menace. DELEGATOR (GB) pulled to contention three wide, moved with the winner leaving the second turn, but faltered in the final furlong and faded. SOCIETY'S CHAIRMAN lagged well back along the inside, got through to make a mild gain but was never a factor. BEETHOVEN (IRE) was forwardly placed along the inside to the stretch and tired. GET STORMY chased the pace three wide, but came up empty between rivals after six furlongs and dropped out.

TIZWAY behind the early leaders, engaged for command between rivals with a half mile to go, held on well to the final quarter and tired. VINEYARD HAVEN prompted the pace four wide, raced with the runner up for five furlongs, drifted in near the sixteenth marker when tiring then continued to weaken. THISKYHASNOLIMIT reserved early, moved up three wide late on the turn, reached a forward position with a furlong to go but had no further bid. AIKENITE outrun early, raced off the inside on the turn and was no real threat. HURRICANE IKE alternated for the lead along the inside, held on well to the stretch and faded. MINE THAT BIRD steadied at the start when MORNING LINE drifted out, raced three wide and was no factor. HERE COMES BEN bumped at the start, recovered to show speed for a half, raced near the rail with three furlongs to go and faded. MAD FLATTER stumbled at the start, quickly gained good position, held on for a half and stopped.

BEHKABAD (FR) , taken to rate off the rail and inside rivals while within range, made steady progress leaving the eighth pole then went evenly through the final sixteenth. WINCHESTER , under rating while also off the rail, shifted out three to four wide in the drive but could only muster a mild late response. DEBUSSY (IRE) was steadied when rank entering the first turn, raced inside rivals while two to three wide early, dropped to the rail for the run around the final turn, gained some in mid stretch then faded in the final yards. TELLING stalked the pace three to four wide while under a hold, came five wide under a ride entering the lane and failed to respond. AL KHALI , under a snug hold while losing ground five wide, failed to respond when called upon leaving the three eighths pole and gave way.

BLAME reserved under a rating hold the opening five furlongs, moved out a bit and commenced his rally three wide with three furlongs to go, came out four wide entering the stretch, challenged in close quarters in upper stretch, drew clear inside the final furlong then lasted late. ZENYATTA unhurried despite a sluggish start, negotiated the first turn in the three path then angled out in the strip on the backstretch, began her rally once in the second turn, dropped towards the inside with less than three furlongs to go, steadied briefly and altered course outside QUALITY ROAD near the quarter mile marker, angled out once in the stretch for a clear path and closed fast while not quite able to run down the winner late. FLY DOWN steadied in the initial furlong when in tight, recovered, checked once in the first turn when moving into a striking position, dropped back, made a four wide run on the second turn but could only improve his position late. LOOKIN AT LUCKY within reach of the leaders the opening half while unhurried, advanced four wide past the three furlong marker, rallied in company with the winner approaching the stretch, battled that one to inside the final furlong and weakened. PADDY O'PRADO outrun for a half, made a mild run while off the rail to the quarter mile marker, angled out a bit for the drive but had little left late. ETCHED bobbled after the start, recovered and gained good position in the run to the first turn, tracked the leaders from the three path, challenged with a quarter mile to go, battled into midstretch and tired. MUSKET MAN shuffled back early, was outrun for a half while in hand, made a four wide middle move but tired in the drive. FIRST DUDE drifted in at the start tightening up HAYNESFIELD, set the pace in the three path, stayed on to the final quarter, dropped to the inside for the drive, steadied with a furlong to go and tired. PLEASANT PRINCE squeezed back early, was unhurried for six furlongs, made a run five wide on the second turn but was no late threat. ESPOIR CITY (JPN) prompted the pace four wide, challenged after six furlongs, gained a short lead with a quarter mile to go but gave way in the drive. HAYNESFIELD in tight after the start, recovered to be close up while between rivals, steadied briefly entering the second turn and faded. QUALITY ROAD close up along the inside, moved off the rail on the second turn and stopped after six furlongs.
