PRESS BARON (GB) settled inside then went between foes leaving the backstretch and on the second turn, came three wide into the stretch and rallied between foes late. SEGWAY outside a rival early, angled in and stalked inside, came out into the stretch, was between horses in midstretch and was outfinished for a minor award. TE RAPA angled in and chased outside a rival, was between foes leaving the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and also was outfinished. SAINT LOUP (FR) a step slow to begin, angled in and settled outside a rival, went three wide into the second turn, swung five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed rally. REACHFORTHEBUCKS (GB) tugged his way along inside and steadied briefly leaving the first turn, saved ground off the pace and could not offer the necessary late kick. GOD OF WAR (BRZ) angled in and saved ground stalking the pace, moved up a bit into the stretch then waited briefly in midstretch and lacked the needed late response. SWIFT EAGLE pulled and steadied between horses passing the wire the first time while dueling, inched away and angled in, set the pace inside, battled along the rail in midstretch, then weakened. PARATITO (IRE) angled in and chased outside a rival, went three deep on the backstretch and into the second turn, came four wide into the stretch and did not rally. MCALLISTER BOYS angled in and stalked outside a rival then between foes, came three wide into the stretch and weakened. QUAIL HILL had speed three wide then angled in, dueled inside then stalked a bit off the rail, was between foes into the stretch and weakened.

MISS OOPS stalked outside then alongside a rival, swung out into the stretch and finished willingly. AMY'S OUTBURST saved ground stalking the pace, came out in upper stretch, split rivals in deep stretch and also went on well to the end. CONKATE pulled her way between foes then steadied briefly off heels early, chased between rivals then off the rail into the stretch, came out some and was outfinished. D'PRINCESS broke out onto a foe, angled in and sped to the early lead, dueled inside, fought back on the turn and into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. MY BRITE CAROLINE chased outside then three deep, went four wide midway on the turn and three wide into the stretch and lacked the needed rally. MAGICAL BAND had good early speed and dueled three deep to the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. RIVER KISS chased just off the rail, split horses three deep midway on the turn, angled in between rivals into the stretch and did not rally. WARREN'S AMBER steadied when crowded at the start, angled in and saved ground chasing the pace and could not summon the necessary response in the drive. TWEETIE PIE a bit crowded at the start, settled three deep then off the rail, angled in on the turn and was not a threat.

NORTHERN IOWA tossed his head a bit at the start, settled outside a rival then chased between foes, angled in leaving the turn, came out in upper stretch, split horses past midstretch and finished with interest. SOLAR ROCKET stalked off the rail then outside on the turn, came four wide into the stretch, had the rider lose the whip in upper stretch and was outfinished. MALIBU RUM chased outside, went three deep on the turn and four wide into the stretch and could not summon the necessary response. THINKING OF GIRLS had speed four wide then stalked off the rail, came three wide into the stretch and weakened. SIR ALLISON chased off the rail then inside into and on the turn and into the stretch and did not rally. PLENNY OF HENNY a step slow to begin, settled off the rail, went outside on the turn and five wide into the stretch and was not a threat. MAKE US PROUD chased outside then alongside a rival, continued a bit off the rail into and on the turn and weakened. SEVEN BRIDGES chased a bit off the rail, came out leaving the turn and four wide into the stretch and did not rally. PRIDE OF SILVER saved ground chasing the pace, dropped back on the turn, was a bit crowded leaving the turn, came out into the stretch and in upper stretch, weakened and was eased late.

HIGHTAIL rated just off the lead while saving ground, awaited room from about the three eighths pole to the quarter pole, responded when finding an inside seam entering the stretch, closed determinedly under right handed pressure to forge ahead of MERIT MAN with a sixteenth remaining, was contacted by that one in the right hind quarter area soon after turning him outward, those two brushed again before straightening then held gamely under strong hand pressure to prove best. MERIT MAN drifted out soon after the break, was corrected and moved within himself to establish command nearing the half mile marker, took pressure around the turn while nudged along, briefly spurted clear in mid stretch, came in slightly under right handed urging brushing the winner inside the sixteenth pole, battled back gamely and just missed. SWEET SHIRLEY MAE, four wide early, angled in while edging closer leaving the far turn, swung out four wide for the drive and made some mild progress in the final sixteenth. HAZARDOUS prompted the pace four wide for nearly a half mile, bid three wide in upper stretch, forced the issue past the eighth pole, held willingly to the sixteenth marker then faded. CEILING KITTY (GB) was sent up between rivals soon after the break and poked a head in front, relinquished command nearing the half mile pole, forced the pace continuing between rivals to the quarter pole then faltered. There was a stewards' inquiry concerning HIGHTAIL'S and MERIT MAN'S run past the sixteenth pole but no action was taken.

CALIDOSCOPIO (ARG) broke a step slow, lagged well back through the opening seven furlongs, commenced a run off the rail leaving the three quarter pole, advanced between rivals leaving the far turn, swung out six wide straightening for the wire, closed determinedly under stout left handed pressure, overtook ATIGUN approaching the sixteenth marker, had his rider switch to the right stick and eagerly kicked away. GRASSY , taken to rate early while off the rail, angled wider past the five eighths pole, gave chase under a hard ride exiting the far turn, gained ground nearing the lane, could not go with the winner but did continue willingly to get up for the place in the final yards. ATIGUN moved up inside rivals around the first turn to gain a forward spot, angled out and moved four to five wide to engage JAYCITO with about seven furlongs to go, briefly alternated with that one before edging clear mid way down the backstretch, took pressure into the lane, was overtaken nearing the sixteenth marker and gave way grudgingly. JUNIPER PASS , in range while removed from the inside, took closer order when given his cue leaving the five eighths pole, collared ATIGUN departing the far turn, pressed that one into the stretch then faded in the final furlong. NOT ABROAD settled off the early pace, gained ground working between foes near the far turn, dropped in to the rail and gained past the three furlong marker, chased into the stretch then flattened out. BALLADRY saved ground in range early, swung out wide in upper stretch and had some belated action. ELDAAFER , four to five wide, had a mild gain near the half mile marker, raced under a hard drive around the final turn then gave way. ROMP (ARG) saved ground early, angled wide approaching the five eighths pole, gave chase around the far turn then weakened. COMMANDER took over soon after the break while about four wide, rated back off of JAYCITO when that one rushed up around the initial turn, tracked while remaining well off the rail into the backstretch, came under a hard ride on the far turn, failed to kick on and faltered. ALMUDENA (PER) , four wide, faltered and was eased. JAYCITO broke a step slow, rushed up inside foes into the first turn and took over, set the pace three wide, was joined by ATIGUN around the second turn, dueled briefly with that one, chased past the five eighths pole, stopped with three furlongs to go and was eased. SENSE OF PURPOSE (IRE) , wide, faltered and was eased. FAME AND GLORY (GB) , under a drive while five wide into the second turn, failed to kick in, faltered and was eased. The opening quarter mile was run in 23.89. Also, a black trash bag blew into the center of the track as the horses neared the wire the first time but none of the runners appeared to be affected.

TARA FROM THE CAPE sped to the early lead and angled in, set the pace along the inside, held on well through the drive but was overtaken in deep stretch. THE GOLD CHEONGSAM (IRE) fanned out into the first turn, chased outside, came four wide into the stretch and was outfinished. WATERWAY RUN between horses early, angled in on the first turn and stalked inside, was in tight off heels in midstretch and could not summon the necessary response. MOONWALK three wide into the first turn, angled in and stalked outside a rival, was between horses into the stretch and did not rally. SKY LANTERN (IRE) pulled along the inside then saved ground stalking the pace, came out a bit into the stretch, lacked room off heels from midstretch to deep stretch and could not summon the necessary response. NANCY O (IRE) angled in and saved ground chasing the pace, cut the corner into the stretch, steadied off heels in tight in midstretch and did not rally. INFANTA BRANCA a bit slow to begin, angled in and saved ground off the pace, came out in the stretch and was not a threat. FLASHY WAYS four wide into the first turn, stalked three deep to the stretch, was between horses past midstretch, steadied in tight a sixteenth out and weakened. KITTEN'S POINT allowed to settle inside, saved ground then went outside a rival into the second turn, came three deep into the stretch and lacked a rally. SPRING VENTURE broke slowly, pulled between horses early then drifted out into the first turn, went up four wide to stalk the pace, came out six wide into the stretch, swerved inward in upper stretch and weakened. OSCAR PARTY three deep on the first turn, stalked outside then alongside a rival, came out five wide into the stretch and also weakened.

EXECUTIVEPRIVILEGE , in range two wide under a light hold, edged closer after a half mile, dropped in to the rail giving chase mid way on the final turn, angled out for a clear run inside the three sixteenths marker, ranged up boldly outside the winner in mid stretch, wandered outward despite repeated right handed pressure and failed to sustain her bid. DREAMING OF JULIA , four wide around the first turn, began a three wide run leaving the five eighths pole, chased around the final turn, drifted in late and could only muster a mild response. KAUAI KATIE balked once prior to loading, prompted the pace outside the winner, came under a drive leaving the far turn, gave futile chase to mid stretch then gave way. SPRING IN THE AIR bobbled at the break, was rated back off rivals early and angled to the inside, swung out making some progress with five sixteenths remaining but weakened in the drive. BROKEN SPELL lacked speed, was under urging two wide nearing the far turn but failed to respond. RENEE'S QUEEN , reluctant to load, stumbled at the break, chased off the rail and faltered leaving the far turn. ALMOST AN ANGEL saved ground while outrun.

I'M A DREAMER (IRE) angled in and chased inside, came out a bit for room between horses leaving the second turn, angled in again and lacked room when blocked off heels in midstretch, split rivals in deep stretch and could not quite summon the needed late kick. UP (IRE) bumped early, chased outside a rival then between foes into and on the second turn, came three deep into the stretch and could not offer the necessary response in the drive. STAR BILLING sped to the early lead, dueled inside then inched away early on the backstretch, fought back on the second turn and into the stretch, then steadied when in tight while weakening in deep stretch. IN LINGERIE angled in and pressed the pace three deep then stalked outside the runner-up, continued outside on the second turn and three wide into the stretch and weakened. NAHRAIN (GB) bumped early, chased three wide, continued three deep on the second turn and into the stretch and also weakened. STORMY LUCY stalked outside a rival then three deep on the backstretch and second turn, came four wide into the stretch and also weakened.

GRACE HALL was angled off the inside for the backstretch run, had a slight four wide gain under urging mid way on the final turn, drifted out six wide in mid stretch and flattened out. LOVE AND PRIDE , four wide early, prompted the winner three wide into the far turn, chased between rivals into the lane then tired. AWESOME FEATHER , four wide into the first turn, stalked three deep down the backstretch, came under heavy pressure departing the far turn but failed to seriously respond. CLASS INCLUDED steadied when rank nearing the first turn, angled in around the final turn but had no rally. QUESTING (GB) , dull in the opening stages, was pulled up in early backstretch and vanned off.

SMART ELLIS away a bit awkwardly, angled in and stalked inside, came out in upper stretch and finished with interest between horses late for the show. ALL SQUARED AWAY chased outside a rival then angled in on the first turn, awaited room briefly leaving the second turn, came out into the stretch and also finished with some interest but was edged for third. MY BEST BROTHER bumped and forced in at the start, angled in and dueled inside, put a head in front leaving the backstretch, fought back on the second turn and into the stretch and weakened late. POWER FOOT bobbled at the start then pulled his way along inside to chase the pace, came out into the stretch and again nearing midstretch and lacked the needed rally. OLD TIME HOCKEY bumped and pinched a bit at the start, angled in and chased outside a rival, was forced four wide leaving the second turn and into the stretch and could not offer the necessary late kick. HUNTSVILLE came in onto foes at the start, angled in and stalked outside a rival, lugged out and steadied nearing the quarter pole, came three deep into the stretch, drifted out and weakened. HOIST had speed outside then angled in and dueled outside a rival, fell back some leaving the second turn, came three wide into the stretch and had little left for the drive.
