Race #7 - The G3 Commonwealth Stakes - 7f - 4:12pm
#1 - Be You (7-2) = Son of Curlin coming off a win in the Toboggan in New York and is 1/2 ITM over the Lexington oval. John Velasquez aboard and he has been riding better than in the past ten years. Gets a rail trip and has a solid late kick for the Todd Pletcher barn.
Race #8 - The G2 Appalachian Stakes - 1 mile on the turf - 4:44 pm
#10 - Imaginationonthelady (7-2) = Been off since Halloween and has been working regular at Palm Meadows. Trainer Brendan Walsh wins 17% with layoff runners and Tyler Gaffalione in the irons is a plus.
Race #9 - The G1 - Madison - 7f - 5:16 pm
#4 - Ragtime (5-1) = Daughter of Union Rag is 6/6 ITM lifetime for the Bill Mott barn. John Velasquez in the saddle and she has a solid late kick when they turn for home. She is screaming for more distance and was a beaten favorite the last two outings looking to strike gold.
Race #10 - The G2 Shakertown - 5 1/2f on the turf - 5:49 pm
#9 - No Nay Hudson (15-1) = Joel Rosario up for Wesley Ward who is known for getting sprinters ready to fire. He is 3/6 ITM at Kee and exits off six works and two bullet works over the track. Ward scores at a 28% clip off a long layoff.
Race #11 - The G1 Bluegrass Stakes - 1 1/8 - 6:22pm
#3 - Great White (15-1) = Winner of the John Battaglia Memorial at Turfway Park and should make a big move before entering the stretch. He's the son of Volatile and should be in mid pack and make a winners move under Alex Achard for John Ennis. He is 2/3 ITM lifetime. The price is ultra-attractive.
