Free Selections Turfway Park - Weds 2/18/26

The weather in the Northern Kentucky area was snowy, cold, and nasty. But for the next few days there will be some light rain on Wednesday with more in the forecast for Thursday and Friday. When the track gets moisture, it plays extremely fair. - With that in mind, here are some solid players for the Turfway card to get rolling for the weekend.

Race #1 - #11 - Dodecahedron

Daughter of Summer Front dropping down the class ladder. 3rd time off the layoff and three races back she was claimed at this level and was rolling late. With the early pace she should be a major player in here.

Race #2 - #5 - Lookatmybuckle

Daughter of Gio Ponti taking a big drop in class and coming off a one-month layoff. She should relish the distance going 2/2 ITM and has plenty of early foot which should be a factor in the hands of Rafael Hernandez. If she is near the morning line, you'll have a sweet payoff.

Race #3 - #1 - Green Light

Coming off a four-month break from Keeneland and the bullet works show me he is ready for a top shelf effort under "The Axman" Luan Machado. He has faced much better elsewhere and should enjoy setting up shop along the rail saving ground.

Race #4 - #8 - J. P. Hellish

Ten-year-old son of J.P. Gusto is 2/2 ITM at Turfway Park. Luis Contreras in the irons and looks to make it two straight at TP. - Horses for courses as my gramps use to say. I think we have one for this race.
