Friday and Saturday Free Selections / Churchill Downs

Nothing like a free lunch, huh? - Well, it's hardly a big burger or a peck of chicken wings, but free selections are able to get you thinking about the upcoming weekend of racing. Be sure and check the weather, track conditions, and marquee races on the docket. So, without further of delay we're gonna jump right in and make it a great bankroll weekend.

Fridy has some rain in the forecast in the mid-50's and Saturday partly sunny near 60 degrees.

1st Race - #3 - Zambizi = Late running son of Candy Ride. - Fresh off the claim and trainer David Jacobson is winning 27% at the meet and 45% ITM off the claim. Goes 7 1/2f to a mile and should be a major player here.

7th Race - #1 - Aunt Mo = Speedy daughter of Uncle Mo draws the rail on the class drop. Makes the turf to dirt switch for Peter Eurton and they score 16% on this angle and 27% ITM first time against claimers.

8th Race - #4 - Clarita = 2nd lifetime effort where the Phillip Bauer yard wins 27% on this move. Two hot works since her last start and one is a redhot bullet. Late running daughter of Gun Runner should be a solid player today.

Saturday

Race #2 - #7 - Aye Bay Bay = Comes of a 52-day break from Presque Isle where she faced the boys and broke her maiden. Trainer Larry Rivelli wins 27% off a last race win and 34% off a break in the races schedule.

Race #3 - #6 - Always Angels = Fresh off the claim and 3/4 ITM over the course. Jose Ortiz gets the call and should be forwardly placed today.

Race #5 - #10 - Vina Arana = Her 2nd start of the year since coming in from Leopards town. She cuts back in distance after winning her late running 7f effort at Saratoga.

Race #10 - #3 - Montador = Son of Nyquist who will be running late in the game. Luis Saez aboard for Michael Stidham is 1/1 at CD and will come flying when the real running begins.

Best of luck and be sure to download your E-Z Win Forms for all of the great racing this weekend. Color coded and easy to use and will give you that inside look into how the race will take shape.
