Heads Up!

The other day you may have read a blog about trainer Wesley Ward bringing two runners to River Downs. One was a winner, and the other faded in the stretch. The good news is that he may be around a little more.
Wesley Ward liked River Downs so much that he planning on sending five more runners on Sunday. They will not race, but they will be making a public workout before going to Royal Ascot.
He liked the turf course so much, and wanted to get his runners a trip over a course that would be more like a European course.
His confidence is brimming, and he promised to bring one of them back for the track's marquee race on Labor Day. The Bud-Select Cradle Stakes is for two-year-old runners contested on the turf. His comment was that this little track was like the "Belmont of the Mid-West."
How does this affect your bankroll? Well, you could have a top notch trainer stabled at Keeneland making frequent trips up I-75 to get his runners ready. Keep your eyes peeled for his entries, and opportunities to wager.
