Synthetic Championships/ Free Turfway Selections/ Sunday 12/21/25

Turfway has four $250,000 races carded for Sunday, 12/21/25. - Called the Synthetic Championships, and from the looks of the races it should be incredible to watch and wager.

Race #6 - The $250,000 My Charmer - 1 mile - 5:30pm

#2 - Caitlinhergrtness = Flavien Prat has the call for Kevin Attard and ships in from Woodbine where Prat won the G2 Ontario Matron Stakes with an off the pace score. She is 6/7 ITM on synthetics and sports some very attractive morning works. The daughter of Omaha Beach was a beaten chalk last out and Team Attard comes back to win 24% looking for payback.

Race #7 - The $250,000 Holiday Inaugural - 6f -6:45pm

#2 - Ellen Jay = 2nd start off the layoff for the Brad Cox yard where they win 23% on this move. Flavien Prat aboard and ran a huge 7 wide late bid to be 2nd in the G2 Presque Isle Masters. Daughter of Constitution has a massive late kick and with ample pace should be calling late in the lane.

Race #8 - The $250,000 Prairie Bayou - 1 mile - 6:30pm

#12 - Encino = Son of Nyquist for trainer Brad Cox and Flavien Prat in the irons. He is 4/4 ITM at Turfway and makes his 2nd start off the layoff going turf to dirt after being caught tight during the race. He owns a sharp work over the Turfway oval going 48 for 4f. I'm looking for a solid stalking trip and Prat should have a bang-up day if all goes well.

Race #9 - The $250,000 Holiday Cheer - 6f - 7:00pm

#3 - Howard Wolowitz = Irad Ortiz in the saddle coming off a two month break. Drops in class from the G1 company. The namesake from "The Big Bang Theory" is 1/1 at Turfway and has two smoking workouts at Palm Meadows. Look for an up-close stalking trip where Ortiz makes few mistakes.
