VEKOMANCER cut the pace from the two path under pressure from LA GRAN ARTESANA to the outside, came under coaxing three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch narrowly displaced from command, got shaken off a bit a furlong out and kept on to come again mildly and secure the show honors. LA GRAN ARTESANA pressed the pace of the aforementioned foe from the outside three wide taking over narrow command under urging with five-sixteenths remaining, spun three wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was collared nearing the sixteenth marker, kept on and just got bested for the show honors on the wire. BOURBON SERENGETI coaxed from the gate, chased three then two wide under a ride from three furlongs out, went eight wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals.
