MANHATTAN CHROME appeared to hit the gate at the start then was strongly urged and quickly made the lead, set the pace from off the rail shadowed by an outside foe, was asked at the top of the stretch, held that rival at bay while being kept to task. MO SPICE got away well then ceded the lead, stalked the eventual winner from outside, could make no headway but was second best. ESCAPE HALL tracked from inside the second flight, was just off the rail through the turn, came out leaving that bend and further still in upper stretch, kept on to secure show honors. MERCILESANIHILATOR exchanged a bump at the start, dropped back from between runners up the backstretch, moved out on the turn, swung seven wide into upper stretch, ran on. ESSENTIALLY FAST chased from outside, fanned six wide into upper stretch, dropped back and faded. MIAMI KAZ exchanged a bump at the start, unhurriedly brought up the rear, saved ground on the turn, was never near enough to threaten.

MUNNINGS EXPRESS soon led from inside a foe to set the pace, was headed by that outside rival briefly late on the turn, promptly retook command, drew clear in mid stretch, held safe. MOMMASGOTTAGUN lacked early speed, trailed coming into upper stretch while moving out six deep, ran on well late to get up for place. SOLOSHOT was a bit fractious in the gate, tracked in behind along the inside, came out off the rail for the drive, ran on but needed more. HOWLING WIND bumped the outside rival at the start but still broke sharply, was soon outsprinted for the lead, stalked the eventual winner while kept well outside, made a brief bid about the five-sixteenths putting a nose in front, was quickly rebuffed and faded in the stretch. PRINCESS BECCA was bumped at the break, stalked from outside going three to four wide on the turn, failed to rally.

SHARED SUCCESS stalked from outside going four wide through the turn, failed to rally. CHELONIAN bobbled into a rival at the start, was encouraged along on the turn racing five wide, failed to menace. CICCIOBELLO was unprepared tossing the head at the start and spotting the field quite a few lengths, advanced inside up the backstretch, was encouraged by the half, came up empty.

MIDDLE MARKET broke outwardly but alertly, set the pace off the rail then nearer the inside into the turn, was challenged by the rest of the field in the stretch, fought on but was simply outfinished while battling on to get the nod for place. MOMENT'S NOTICE was urged at the start, forced in and in a bit tight early, switched out and chased in behind and outside the leader, took closer order into the turn and was ridden along by the three-eighths in contention two to three wide between foes, bid in mid-stretch putting a nose in front briefly, kept on in the stretch but was not enough. LEAN MUSIC MACHINE switched out early, advanced outside going three to four wide on the turn and in range, was outkicked.

THE HERO CODE was hard to load then had an equipment adjustment behind the gate, bumped with a rival and steadied at the start, was urged forward shifting in and chasing inside, swung seven wide turning for home and passed a tiring foe. JAMAICA REDD was urged to the lead, set the pace inside, drifted into upper stretch, came up empty. MIDNIGHT MUSUME had the early lead but was soon overtaken, stalked the leader from inside foes, saved ground on the turn, checked sharply just past the quarter pole, failed to rally.

ITWILLBEFUN broke very poorly spotting the field numerous lengths, settled into stride at the back, advanced outside a foe into the turn, swung eight wide leaving that bend, finished strongly to be gaining outside rivals but too late and exchanging minor contact at the wire. SYL'S PLEASURE was lightly bumped at the start, stalked from outside going three wide on the turn, bid past the five-sixteenths, lugged in a hair at the top of the stretch, ran on but lacked the needed late kick. TAMMY'S CRUISER got away well, led after the opening furlong, set the pace from off the rail, yielded in the stretch. JAY'S LOVE was off the pace racing inside, saved ground on the turn, was never near enough to threaten.

KISMEHOLDMETHRLME came in a bumped a rival after the start, stalked the leading pair from outside going three to four wide on the turn, failed to rally. SOLO DANCING was forced into a rival after the start, settled at the rear, swung eight wide into upper stretch, was never near enough to threaten. E Z BOURBON chased in behind off the rail, was eased through the stretch and transported off the track via equine ambulance.
