SCHOOLYARDSUPERMAN chased five then four wide patiently handled until let out when taking command swinging four to five wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat to the outside and was collared nearing the eighth pole, ran on well clear of the rest to be along second best. BLUE FORTY TWO chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, angled four wide into upper stretch, weakened while along best of the rest. GALLANT ONE brushed the near side stall at the start, led early on and then dueled two to three wide with EPIC SUMMER to his inside from the six furlong marker, came under urging midway on the turn and faded, went seven wide into upper stretch, then tired through to the finish. EPIC SUMMER broke in at the start and was corrected, advanced after the start to engage the aforementioned foe in a duel with six furlongs to go while along the rail, tipped just off the rail through the turn and shook off that rival inside the three-eighths pole while engaged outside by SCHOOLYARDSUPERMAN, yielded the front taking the two path into upper stretch, then faltered in the drive.

MILITARY ROAD came away in good order, rounded the first turn in the three path, tracked the pace down the backstretch, was asked near the half-mile pole, made a bid in the three path on the far turn then took the lead outside the five-sixteenths pole, dropped to the two path while going clear outside the quarter-pole, drew off under a left-handed crop into the final furlong, was switched to a right-handed crop and given one pop outside the sixteenth-pole and widened under a strong hand-ride to the finish. FIRST TRUMPET reared badly at the start and was off very slow, spotted the other two contestants around five lengths, rushed up then angled out into the first turn, swept to the front in the five path on that bend then went clear, was asked in the two path early on the far turn then vied under strong urging, lost touch with the winner coming to the quarter-pole, kept on while dueling with KISMEHOLDMETHRIME for second position in the stretch and narrowly earned that position. KISMEHOLDMETHRLME went to the front then came out, led in the three then two path early on the first turn then was passed by the runner-up, tracked that foe down the backstretch, came under urging with a half-mile to run, made a bid at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied inside under urging on the far turn, lost touch with the winner late on that bend, spun into the stretch in the two path, dueled inside of the runner-up for that position in the stretch and missed second money.

TAPIT BACK coaxed from the gate, chased two to three wide down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths to run, angled five wide into upper stretch with a clear lane, had MY GIRL AUBREE come in slightly at the three-sixteenths and leaned out in response near the eighth pole, leaning against MY GIRL AUBREE to open back the slight room taken away while flashing a right handed crop in her face, then got bumped in the hind end by MY GIRL AUBREE and was turned out into her by that contact nearing the sixteenth marker, seized command seventy yards from home and edged away to the finish to prevail. DARTY TIME broke out a step at the start but to the front, showed the way in hand just off the inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, got roused spinning four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive under growing threat from a pair to the outside, got collared by the top one seventy yards from home, ran on to repel MY GIRL AUBREE and save the place honors on the wire. MY GIRL AUBREE four wide in pursuit, came under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, angled six wide into upper stretch, came in slightly near the three-sixteenths tightening the seam for TAPIT BACK a smidgen, had that rival lean outwards under a right handed stick and was leaned on had the crop flashed before face a furlong out, came inwards and bumped TAPIT BACK in the hind end turning her out nearing the sixteenth marker, then kept on to the finish but was ultimately rebuffed by the aforementioned foe and forced to settle for the show honors on the line. LADY DELILAH chased along the inside briefly before tipping out three paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked to the two path and then the rail into the turn coming under coaxing three furlongs out, angled out seven wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. ESSENCE L VEE chased five to six paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked to the two path just inside the half mile pole before making her way to the inside three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and offered no response. COVERT AFFAIR shied out at the break and was taken in hand briefly at the start, chased five then four wide coming under a ride at the three-eighths pole, went eight wide into upper stretch and tired. MAIZEY BLUE coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside briefly before tipping to the three path to chase in that lane thereafter, came under urging with five-sixteenths remaining, continued three wide for home and tired. There was a Stewards' Inquiry into the stretch run focusing on TAPIT BACK and MY GIRL AUBREE. After review, the result was allowed to stand prior to the race being declared official.

HELEN'S REVENGE was hustled from the gate, pressed the pace on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, vied in the four path on the turn, took the lead late on that bend, drifted in while inching away on her inside lead in upper stretch, continued to drift in into the final furlong and proved much best while remaining on her inside lead to the finish. VINO FRIZZANTE was urged while out-sprinted early, moved up outside the nine-sixteenths pole then made a bid, took a short lead late on the backstretch, vied inside to the two path on the turn, lost the advantage inside the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back in upper stretch, came out in the final furlong and narrowly earned the place while no match for the winner. RACING COLORS dropped back to the rear after the start, moved from the two path to the four path under urging on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and improved willingly to just miss the place while up for the show. MEG'S FOXY GREY was hustled from the gate, set the pace under pressure to her outside, lost the advantage late on the backstretch, vied in the three path under urging on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch, swapped back to her inside lead while off heels around the sixteenth-pole and weakened. BOSSY DISH was hustled from the gate then chased the pace, went around the turn in the two then three path and came up empty. QUEEN SALLY settled near the back on the outside, moved in late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and failed to respond.

SILVER TALENT broke a half a beat slow and came under brief coaxing at the start, chased three then two wide from the tail of the field, got ridden along midway on the turn, took the inside route into upper stretch and improved position to the finish showing interest and then galloped out well after the wire. COLD DRAFT BEER coaxed from the gate, climbed early striding a bit green while also facing kickback chasing three paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the turn and came under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to go, angled six wide into upper stretch, made no impact, then got pulled up after the finish and was attended to and vetted and subsequently transported off the course via the equine ambulance. MAJOR TAC coaxed from the start, chased four then three wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths marker, went three wide for home and tired in the stretch.

MO MAHOMIE was urged along off the pace, chased in the two path for most of the turn then shifted to the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path, remained on his inside lead in the drive and weakened but was clear for the show. EASEMYWORRIEDMIND chased the pace on the outside of the leader, engaged that foe in the three path early on the turn, dropped back under pressure passing the five-sixteenths pole then moved to the two path and tired. RECKLESS DANCER dropped back after the start, moved out from behind kickback around the five-eighths pole, angled in late on the backstretch, dropped from the four path to the two path early on the turn, came out to the five path into the stretch, drifted inward in the vicinity of the furlong marker and was no factor.

LOST HORIZON chased along the inside through the first turn and then two to three wide thereafter, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths pole, angled out seven wide into upper stretch and improved position to secure the show honors. LOW COUNTRY MAGIC chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride with five-sixteenths remaining, angled five wide at the top of the stretch, weakened in the late stages. BERNIETAKESCHARGE a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, came under coaxing at the break and established the front with seven furlongs to run, showed the way in hand along the inside through the first turn and then just off the inside down the backstretch, came under urging tucked back inside at the half mile pole and was under increased pressure through the turn from the top pair until yielding the front just outside the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch and tired through to the finish. OURDAYDREAMINGGIRL a bit fractious in the gate before the start, raced along the inside through the first turn and then chased two to three wide coming under a ride with seven-sixteenths to run, continued two to three wide at the head of the lane and trailed.

GENERAL BANKER was reserved early then settled on the outside, came under urging leaving the backstretch, went around the turn in the four then five path, pursued the leaders while outside in the stretch, gained on those foes late and just got up for the show. DR. KRAFT broke in and bumped with an opponent, prompted the pace on the outside, was asked near the nine-sixteenths pole, vied in the three path on the turn, passed the five-sixteenths pole on even terms for the lead, battled with two rivals under a drive into the final sixteenth and was outfinished then just missed the show. RUSSIAN REALM was bumped at the start, angled in at the rear entering the main-track, saved ground on the turn, shifted to the two path outside the quarter-pole, moved out while gaining late and finished willingly to just miss the superfecta. PRINCE VALIANT showed the way on the inside of a rival, passed the five-eighths pole under urging, vied in the two path on the turn, fought inside of two opponents under a drive into the final sixteenth and was out-kicked. DONEGAL SURGES moved up under urging with seven furlongs to run then was well placed just off the pace, dropped back under urging leaving the backstretch, retreated along the rail on the turn and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
