MISTBORN was taken under a snug hold early, traveled around the first turn in the two path, settled outside but with some cover on the backstretch, was asked with a half-mile to run, chased in the three path on the far turn, pursued the leader under a drive in upper stretch, attempted to keep the winner in behind the pacesetter outside the furlong marker but didn't have enough acceleration and was nudged out, pursued the vanguard into the final sixteenth was out-kicked but earned the show. FLYING HAWLEY broke out at the start, chased four then three wide under encouragement from the three-eighths marker, tipped five wide for home and tired. PRIME CONNECTION broke in a step at the start bumping THEMIS just before SARATOGA PARTY did, chased just off the inside under urging with five-sixteenths to run, continued in the two path into upper stretch, tired. THEMIS broke out a step and got bumped at the start by PRIME CONNECTION breaking in a step and then got bumped by SARATOGA PARTY breaking outwards, chased along the inside climbing slightly facing kickback, came under coaxing three furlongs from home, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and faltered in the drive.
