ASKED AND ANSWERED ducked out at the start, was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the four to five path, turned into upper stretch under a drive, came out under a left-handed crop around the furlong marker and finished willingly for the place. COUNTER MOVE pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path while on even terms for the lead on the turn, took the advantage late on that bend, was headed by the winner while under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened but was clear for the show. NO FILTER was hustled from the gate, moved up to set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the lead late on that bend, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and tired. STAYFROSTYMYFRIEND was last to commence, raced at the rear under urging, saved ground on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the two path, remained on his inside lead until outside the sixteenth-pole then swapped to the proper lead and failed to threaten. MACH SCHNELL showed speed between foes then was taken back outside the nine-sixteenths pole before moving to the outside, came up empty while racing from the two path to the four path on the turn and faltered then was eased in the stretch but walked off.

JUST ADD WATER broke out at the start and was corrected, chased three wide under encouragement from the five-sixteenths marker, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, stayed on one paced to the end. TURRIGA broke out at the start and got corrected, showed the way in hand along the inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole under challenge and yielded the front just before taking the inside route into upper stretch, remained prominent to the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. SNOWY EVENING coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside ridden along from three furlongs out, angled out four to five wide at the head of the stretch, trailed throughout.

DEFERENCE broke in at the start, rounded the first turn in the two path, stalked the pace down the backstretch, bumped multiple times with the winner while put in tight near the three-eighths pole and steadied, traveled around the far turn in the two path, shifted to the three path while roused into upper stretch, moved further out before the furlong marker and finished with good energy to garner the place. MISTBORN was taken under a snug hold early, traveled around the first turn in the two path, settled outside but with some cover on the backstretch, was asked with a half-mile to run, chased in the three path on the far turn, pursued the leader under a drive in upper stretch, attempted to keep the winner in behind the pacesetter outside the furlong marker but didn't have enough acceleration and was nudged out, pursued the vanguard into the final sixteenth was out-kicked but earned the show. PINCH OF BOURBON broke in at the start, went to the front, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the first turn, was well rated while setting the pace, raced inside on the far turn, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, led until just before the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while able to get the last spot in the superfecta. DIMENSIONALITY was bumped at the start then dropped to the rear, moved from the two path to the inside while tugging rankly on the bit late on the first turn, was reserved at the back, shifted from the two path to the three path while roused on the far turn, was driven into upper stretch in the four path then moved further out and lacked the needed response. QUADRATE raced in the three path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, came in from the three path to the two path early on the turn and put rivals in tight quarters, was asked around the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back in upper stretch and capitulated.

PRIME CONNECTION broke in a step at the start bumping THEMIS just before SARATOGA PARTY did, chased just off the inside under urging with five-sixteenths to run, continued in the two path into upper stretch, tired. THEMIS broke out a step and got bumped at the start by PRIME CONNECTION breaking in a step and then got bumped by SARATOGA PARTY breaking outwards, chased along the inside climbing slightly facing kickback, came under coaxing three furlongs from home, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and faltered in the drive.
