BEING BETTY broke on top and showed the way early on from the two path into the turn, got displaced by a pair of rivals and settled three then four paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide three furlongs out and advanced on the top pair through the latter portion of the turn taking over spinning from the two path into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in under growing threat from the barn mates through to the finish with them latching on seventy yards from home and just held on at the wire to share in the win. MATILDA (GER) raced two then three wide through the first turn, settled three paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked to the two path three furlongs out and then came under urging five-sixteenths from home, spun three wide into upper stretch, rallied in concert with GRAYOSH through the final furlong to latch on the aforementioned foe seventy yards from the finish, dug in and just missed by a whisker at the end. PATTY CAKES hard to load prior to the start, raced three then two wide through the first turn taking over the front near six furlongs to run with MACANGA in close aim to her outside, settled in hand just off the inside down the backstretch under some pressure from that rival, tucked inside three furlongs out and came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths as BEING BETTY advanced outside stacking three deep, yielded the front and took the inside route into upper stretch, then weakened in the final furlong. MACANGA four then three wide through the first turn, prompted the leader from the outside three then two wide under urging with five-sixteenths to go, faded and spun just off the inside at the head of the lane, then tired through the stretch.

FIRST TRUMPET was hustled from the gate, pressed the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure in the three path early on the turn, took the advantage outside the three-eighths pole, shook clear while remaining in the three path at the quarter-pole, extended the advantage under a drive into the final furlong, remained well clear into the final sixteenth and held under steady urging. GRAND COMMANDER dropped well off the pace while ridden along on the outside, traveled around the turn in the five path, turned into upper stretch under a drive, gained in the final furlong and finished with late energy to just get the place. AIRBORNE ELITE broke in at the start, was urged along on the outside in third position, went around the turn in the four path, spun into upper stretch under a drive, gained inside the runner-up with good courage late and just missed the place while well clear for the show. SOLO EMPIRE showed speed and set the pace on the inside of an opponent, was asked under threat while along the rail early on the turn, lost the advantage to the winner outside the three-eighths pole, dropped back into the stretch and tired. KISMEHOLDMETHRLME lacked speed under urging, moved closer late on the backstretch, shifted from the rail to the two path on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop, came a bit further out in the drive and lacked the needed response. TAPIZAR'S TEMPER bumped soundly with a foe at the start then was squeezed back, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn, came into the stretch in the six path while under the crop, moved further out inside the three-sixteenths pole and failed to threaten. HEY BUDDY bumped soundly with a rival at the start, dropped back well off the pace, went around most of the turn in the two path, tipped to the three path briefly around the five-sixteenths pole before dropping back to the two path then the rail, remained on his inside lead in the stretch and faltered then was eased but walked off.

SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN bumped lightly with a rival at the start then went to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, showed the way with a clear advantage, controlled the action while inside on the far turn, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole and held under strong urging. GENERAL BANKER was taken under a tight hold early, tugged keenly on the bit into the first turn then bumped with a foe, saved ground on that bend, was reserved towards the back, went around the far turn in the two then three path while roused, came out to the five path into the stretch and was no factor. TERMINAL VELOCITY was taken under a strong hold early then tugged on the bit, shifted from the two path to the three path early on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, came under urging leaving the backstretch, went around the far turn in the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path and had nothing left.

JAMAICA REDD tracked the pace along the inside, got ridden along with five-sixteenths to go, retreated through the latter portion of the turn and went just off the inside into upper stretch, then faltered in the drive.

OUR PREFERRED PAL was hustled from the gate, disputed the pace on the outside of two foes, vied in the three then four path on the turn, shook clear into upper stretch, responded well in the final furlong and held under strong urging. NEW YORK SPECIAL was hustled from the gate, contested the pace on the inside of two rivals, vied along the rail while asked for more on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch, kept on in pursuit of the winner to the finish and was second best. FACTORY SETTING settled off the early pace then came under urging inside the three-quarter pole, chased in the two then three path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed kick while clear for the show. FLAT TO DA MAT coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside patiently handled until set down spinning two to three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive steadily wearing down the leader through the final furlong to take command seventy yards from the finish, then inched away late to prevail. CUANDO coaxed from the start, showed the way in hand along the inside, got roused taking the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat to the outside, got caught seventy yards from home and fought on to the finish. CYCLONITE broke in at the start bumping FORGIVING SPIRIT in tandem with TUNISIAN SPRING, tracked the front just off the inside in hand until let out angled four to five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and ran on to secure the show honors. FORGIVING SPIRIT got bumped between foes at the start who each broke his way and got away last, chased three then two wide under a ride from the three-eighths marker, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. TUNISIAN SPRING broke out at the start bumping FORGIVING SPIRIT in concert with CYCLONITE, chased along the inside under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, made no headway. YO BANANA BOY hustled from the gate, chased inside briefly until tipped to the two path, remained just off the inside when put to urging with five-sixteenths to run, spun three wide into upper stretch, weakened. TALL PAUL broke out at the start under urging, chased two then three wide under coaxing nearing the quarter pole, angled five wide for home, weakened in the stretch.

ON A SUMMER DAY saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, was roused in the two path on the far turn, swung out to the four path into upper stretch, rallied into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up into the final sixteenth and win going away. PROBABLE CHOICE was hustled to the front, showed the way while well rated on the inside, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop while clear outside the furlong marker, led until the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while clear for the place. NIGHT JASMINE tucked into the two path for the run around the first turn, was reserved with cover, raced in the three then four path under urging on the far turn, came into the stretch in the six path and improved to garner the show. RAYNHAM HALL prompted the pace on the outside in the two path, chased on the far turn, remained on her inside lead until the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead and weakened but held the last spot in the superfecta. VALIANT DIVA was taken in hand while in tight shortly after the start, moved in early, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled outside on the backstretch without cover, was urged along with three furlongs to run, traveled around the far turn in the three path and lacked the needed kick. ROCKET ROBIN was fractious leaving the paddock, moved in early, raced in the two path on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, dropped from the two path to the inside while roused on the far turn and lacked the needed response. JUST ONE MORE was hustled from the gate, raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the far turn, came out to the five path into upper stretch and tired. ROSEBERNS DREAM raced inside while well placed just off the pace, dropped back with three furlongs to run, saved ground into the stretch and came up empty. ADDAGIRL ADDIE settled on the inside, was caught behind a foe late on the far turn, shifted to the two path into the stretch and failed to threaten. TWO CLICKS was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, came out into the first turn, raced in the three to four path on that bend, was reserved on the outside but with cover, went around the far turn in the four then five path and failed to respond.
