SEA STRIKE broke awkwardly and a step slow then shied in and was taken up with a grab of the right rein, spotted the front several lengths, climbed into kickback early, settled well off the pace, gained in the two path under his own power on the turn, came into the stretch in the three path then dropped in a path while roused, rallied inside of rivals under a strong hand-ride, closed fast to get the lead inside the furlong marker, went clear outside the sixteenth-pole and proved much the best under lighter encouragement to the finish. TAB AT ZANZIBAR showed speed then disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the two to three path while asked for more on the turn, held a short lead under a drive in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner inside the furlong marker and proved no match while able to get the place. COMPLEX CHARLIE was hustled from the gate, moved up to dispute the pace on the inside of an opponent, vied along the rail while asked for more on the turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong and weakened but was clear for the show. FEROCE was away alertly then hustled, chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the three to four path, spun into the stretch in the five path, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. GORDY broke out and brushed the gate, moved out early then was urged along on the inside of a rival, shifted from the three path to the four path early on the turn, chased while moving out to the five path later on that bend, spun into the stretch in the six path and came up empty. OKEFENOKEE leaned in and hesitated while brushing the inside of the gate, was off a bit slow, saved ground while urged along near the back and was no factor. LEVI WARRIOR bobbled at the start but broke towards the front, was urged along on the outside, traveled around the turn in the four then five path, came into the stretch in the six path then dropped in some and failed to respond.

COMMUTED struck the off side stall at the start and then continued to break outwards under coaxing until corrected, advanced to vie for command from the two path from the seven-eighths marker through to five and a half furlongs from home when shaking a bit clear albeit still under pressure from a pair of rivals to the outside, remained just off the inside through the turn and came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths pole, angled five wide into upper stretch, drew off under a drive to prevail. ALAN TURING coaxed from the gate, chased two to three wide under urging with five-sixteenths remaining, spun three wide into upper stretch, kept on to the finish to procure the place honors. BRAZENLY coaxed from the start, came in and brushed RUN QUIET RUN FAST after the start, vied between foes from the three path and then pressed the pace loosely between rivals while three wide through the turn, came under urging at the five-sixteenths marker, angled six wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. FIRST CALL BOB vied from the four path with a pair of foes to his inside, got shaken off a bit five and a half furlongs out and prompted the pace from that point through the turn under encouragement with five-sixteenths to run, went seven wide into upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. VASSIMO coaxed from the start, chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch coming under prolonged coaxing from the nine-sixteenths pole, tucked to the two path through the turn, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch, drifted out through the stretch until corrected with a right handed crop near the sixteenth marker and tired. RUN QUIET RUN FAST got brushed after the break by BRAZENLY, chased five then four wide under a ride with seven-sixteenths to go, tipped out six wide at the head of the stretch in retreat and faltered in the drive.

PRETTY BOY MIAH angled in while showing speed, dropped off the pace then moved out leaving the backstretch, gained on the outside to contest the pace with six furlongs to run, vied in the two path on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, battled outside of the runner-up under a drive in upper stretch, disposed of that foe into the final furlong and drew clear under strong urging. ANYWAY angled in while going to the front, was joined on the outside by the winner nearing the three-quarter pole, vied along the rail while still inside the winner on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, battled under a drive to the furlong marker and proved no match while clear for the place. BOLD LOVE was bumped at the start then squeezed back in tight quarters, moved out early then settled on the outside, was roused in the four then five path on the turn, remained on his inside lead in the stretch and lacked the needed response while able to get the show. THE OBLITERATOR broke out and bumped with a foe, raced just off the early pace then dropped back inside the three-quarter pole, was urged along with five furlongs to run, moved closer late on the backstretch, chased in the two then three path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path and weakened then missed the show. JUST ASAP settled at the rear under some urging then dropped well behind the rest of the field, saved ground under stronger encouragement on the turn and was no factor. MO SPICE brushed with a foe at the start then tossed his head, moved out early then gained nearing the three-quarter pole, tracked the pace from that juncture, dropped back with five furlongs to run, came up empty while shifting from the three path to the five path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the six path and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.

BLACKMAIL tracked the pace along the inside hard held, had INSTABILITY come up along the outside and began to pull on the bit eager and was steadied five furlongs from home settling once more in the pocket inside that station, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and spun just off the inside into upper stretch, took to the inside nearing the eighth pole as the leader drifted out, rallied to seize command just outside the sixteenth marker, then dug in gamely to rebuff the runner up to the finish. INSTABILITY (IRE) settled tracking the leader just off the inside, advanced to be in closest aim with five furlongs remaining, remained patiently handled until placed to urging nearing the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, tipped out a path a furlong out as LONGSHOREMAN drifted in front, rallied to knock heads through the final sixteenth with the top one but was ultimately repelled to the wire. LONGSHOREMAN established the front just after the start and showed the way in hand along the inside patiently handled until set down taking the two path into upper stretch, drifted out nearing the eighth pole before coming under challenge from flanking rivals at that station, dug in and was caught just outside the sixteenth pole, then weakened in the late stages while along for the show honors. TEDDY'S ROCKET stumbled at the start recovering awkwardly and nearly tossing the rider from the right side iron, settled tracking the front just off the inside from the tail of the field through the opening half mile, came under urging with five-sixteenths to run and angled five wide at the top of the stretch, then offered no response. BLUE FORTY TWO brushed the off side stall at the start, raced two then three wide through the first turn and settled three wide in pursuit down the backstretch, continued three wide through the far turn coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and weakened.
