HARD PAR sped to set a clear lead, repelled challenger top of stretch, kept to task, ridden out to the wire. EL BELLO (GB) rated patiently, closed well in the stretch, not reaching leader. HELLO NEWMAN stalked in second, finished one paced. SOLOMON'S CHOICE was never a threat, pulled up before the last fence. RIVAGE showed no speed, dropped back and was pulled up early in the race. DEPUTY A. P. veered out at the fourth hurdle, crashed into the wing and unseated the rider.
