NIP N TUCK settled off of the pace along the inside, advanced two wide and between horses in upper stretch, dueled for show with an outer counterpart through the final furlong and prevailed. HOODLUM broke slowly, trailed in the four path, improved four wide around the turn, battled for show with an inner foe through the final furlong but was bested. TWIRLING TROILLET led narrowly as the eventual winner prompted, got headed by that one with three furlongs to go then weakened turning for home. SLIM SLOW SLIDER tracked three wide then faltered between horses turning for home.

CAROL'S MELODY stalked three wide, ranged up to bid turning for home, sustained her challenge through the final furlong and edged past late. MASCARA pressed two wide, bid along with an outer rival turning for home, forged an advantage between rivals at the three sixteenths pole, dug in but got bested by her outer counterpart late. MAGIC SEEKER set the pace along the inside, got collared by an outer pair turning for home, was headed at the three sixteenths pole and fought on. WILD ACCLAIM settled along the inside, chased in the two path in upper stretch then stayed on mildly. ARMY GIRL pursued from the four path then chased evenly through the lane. BUZZWORTHY raced at the rear two wide and between horses into the turn then made little impact.

FULL DOLLY settled off of the pace along the inside, progressed in the three path and between horses at the three furlong pole, bid outside of the top pair while fanning to the five path entering the lane, sustained her challenge through midstretch and drove past at the sixteenth pole. COGNIZANT brushed with an inner rival leaving the gate, prompted three wide early on, sparred two wide turning for home, forged an advantage as an outer bidder joined the fray entering the lane, dug in between foes but was bested by that one with a sixteenth to go. IN FOR A SPIN bobbled subtly soon after the start, led narrowly two wide and between horses down the backstretch, then with only her outer counterpart turning for home, got headed by that one as a wider rival threatened entering the lane, fought on through midstretch but yielded in the final sixteenth. PLAYING GAMES brushed with an outer fo eleaving the gate, tracked from the four path, chased around the turn and faded. PLAYFUL QUALITY vied for the lead with an outer pair leaving the chute, but weakened passing the three furlong pole.

INVULNERABLE sped clear early on, showed the way along the inside into the turn, remained in hand as an outer foe applied pressure turning for home, moved out to the two path in upper stretch then held firm after flopping back to his left lead in the final sixteenth. EYE WITNESS stalked from the three two two path, inched into striking range on the leader turning for home, but hung on his left lead in upper stretch, drifted out to the four path while sustaining pursuit in midstretch, straightened and ran on while continuing on his left lead but was kept at bay. MISTER BANDERAS tracked two wide and between horses, chased along the inside around the turn, then lacked any gain yet managed show. SHAN chased along the inside, moved out to the three path entering the lane then offered an even kick. DERBY DATE broke a step slow, trailed in the three to four path into the turn, improved position fanning to the five path entering the lane but failed to menace. FURIOUS ANGER broke a step slow, pursued off of the pace in the three path then faded between horses entering the lane.
