VIATURE unhurried early, shifted out four to five wide leaving the backstretch, swung out at the head of the lane, overtook DEAR SANTA and won driving. DEAR SANTA sent for speed outside of SIX SHOTS OF T, dueled for the lead, was joined by VIATURE at the head of the lane and was outfinished. NORTHERN JEWEL tracked four wide, and lacked a closing response but held on for third. MOB BOSS tracked the early pacesetters, was stuck in traffic in the final turn, and flattened out. TAKE CHARGE CURLY broke slow and passed tiring rival. SIX SHOTS OF T contested the early pace inside of DEAR SANTA, was unable to keep pace and gave way. STEWARDS INQUIRY- An inquiry was conducted into the stretch run involving NORTHERN JEWEL. After reviewing the footage, the Stewards determined that NORTHERN JEWEL caused interference to TAKE CHARGE CURLY, SIX SHOTS OF T, and MOB BOSS. As a result, NORTHERN JEWEL was disqualified from its finishing position and placed sixth.
