BEAUTIFUL BLOME settled a few lengths behind the pace, was cued four wide through the far turn, dueled with BROUBON N LACE in the stretch, edged clear late under steady encouragement. BOURBON N LACE chased the top two from a safe distance, closed in up the backstretch, launched a three wide bid to take charge midway through the turn, battled BEAUTIFUL BLOME down the stretch but was outkicked late. AUDIBLY broke slowly, trailed distantly in the early stages, began closing some ground up the backstretch, passed a couple foes five wide through the far turn, chased on down the stretch. WHY NOT GRACE applied heavy pressure to the early pace setter, took charge after the half mile marker, met a couple of outer bids midway through the far turn and gave way, weakened then on. PRINCIPIA quickly set a pressured pace, relinquished command after the half mile marker, retreated through the far turn.

FLOAT ON tracked the pace four wide, roused through the turn for a prominent position at the top of the stretch, drove past the dueling leaders in the final furlong. ROLLY bumped outer foe at the start, vied for early command with INTER MIAMI, opted to press the pace through the turn, challenged that foe once more in the upper stretch, gave way to the eventual winner at the eighth, inched up for the place honors in the final sixteenth. INTER MIAMI vied for early command with ROLLY, claimed a narrow lead before the turn, battled that foe once more in the final furlong before giving way late just held on for a share of the show award. PROM KNIGHT trailed shortly after the start, closed willingly in the stretch to earn a share of the show award. MIDNIGHT GETAWAY settled off the pace, swung out rounding the turn to bump BACKNTHEWOODS, had no late kick. BACKNTHEWOODS raced off the pace along the outside, was bumped out by MIDNIGHT GETAWAY rounding the turn, could not rally. DISCREET DEVIL was bumped by an inner foe at the start, quickly advanced for a tracking position along the inside, retreated in the final furlong.

MISS INTERPATATION dictated the terms of the race, held sway under steady encouragement. PEMBERLEY settled off the pace, found a mid pack position in the backstretch, split foes in the far turn to sit close up to the leader but was held at bay down the lane. BUGGED OUT stalked the pace between runners, began to flatten out late, clear of the rest for the show award. ALWAYS FORWARD advanced along the outside and carried in FOREST ACCLAMATION through the first turn, stalked the pace four wide up the backstretch, weakened in the stretch. BOTTLE ROCKET (FR) trailed for the first half, made some minor improvements. SING SCAT stumbled at the start, moved up to chase the pace, retreated at the quarter. FOREST ACCLAMATION was carried into a tight position by ALWAYS FORWARD in the first turn, raced off the pace, showed little.
