SWEET AURORA G raced evenly near the back in the beginning, made a mild bid, but was no real factor. SHADOW DANCER raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout and weakened on the inside. MARY CLAIRE bumped hard at the break, raced in the middle of the field, put forth an even effort and lacked a bid. DIJON lacked early speed, dropped stick at the 1/8 pole and was never a threat. REAUX DAY void of early speed and was never close. FAYE L. always raced near the back, finished wide and showed little. SUIVANTE in the middle of the field, came around the turn on the outside, raced erratic down the home stretch, faded and was no threat. LARYSCOUNTRYGIRL raced within striking distance, faded and was pulled up down the home stretch, easing across the wire.

LASSIE BEE broke a step slow, made a steady gain, split rivals down the home stretch and got up in time. WELCOMETOMYHOLIDAY went to the front, drove clear, led throughout and was caught at the wire.
