MY OTHER HALF broke on top and went a length clear early, maintained the advantage through the turn with the rider not asking, was still in hand past the eighth pole as SID'S CHICA presented a challenge to the outside, was then roused and responded to just hold on in the final yards. SID'S CHICA brushed with the inside rival at the start, raced close up through the initial furlong along the rail, dropped back a bit on the turn, kept to the inside, came out a path in upper stretch, ranged up to challenge from the top of the stretch, was gradually cutting into the margin but came up short. MISS LANDLOCK was three-wide and between horses in the tracking group, broke away from that pack to go after MY OTHER HALF approaching the quarter pole, could not kick on with the top pair in the final furlong, but finished best of the rest to claim the minor award. PARADISE RIDGE settled mid-pack despite some early coaxing from the rider, started to run on with three furlongs to go, finished with interest, but was not doing enough in the late stages to pose a threat. WHISKEY CHASIN was outpaced early and put under a ride after the start, chased from the back of the pack to the stretch, came out four-wide and closed with mild gain, but was not good enough. DAT HINT broke out, making contact with the adjacent rival, settled in mid-pack along the rail, continued to save ground to the stretch, and finished evenly. SUGAH GEM ducked out after the break to race very wide to the turn, dropped down and moved up to join the forward group through the turn, was in range of the leaders past the quarter pole, but flattened out in upper stretch. LACEY'S ACE was off slowly, went four-wide through the turn, then came out five-wide for the stretch run, ducked in before the furlong marker, and continued to race erratically to the wire. CLEARLY A DREAM EM took a bump after the start but was hustled to get forward position, pressed the pace between horses, then weakened after passing the three-furlong pole and came up empty in the stretch.

CRITICAL THREAT off a step slow, moved up into contention down the backstretch, came up to join BIND FAITH on the lead at the seven-sixteenth pole, dueled outside of that rival through the turn, then went clear in mid-stretch and drew off. KNOCKALITTLELOUDER was the inside horse in the early pace mix, settled in a stalking position through the turn, waited behind horses to the stretch, then tipped out to the three-path, raced on the wrong lead, and could not catch the eventual winner but finished clear of the next horse. BIND FAITH took command early, then dueled with CRITICAL THREAT through the turn, yielded the lead before the furlong marker, and was outfinished in the late stages. TWOFEXUSNEXUS raced near the back of the main pack to the stretch, came out five-wide at the top of the stretch, kept to task and was mildly gaining some ground in the final furlong. ONCOMING TRAIN dropped to last after an even start, chased the field through the turn, swung out six-wide for the stretch run, but was unable to threaten. INFINITESIMAL tracked the pacesetter two-deep, then lacked a late kick. GLOBAL STAGE pressed the pace four-wide then faltered in upper stretch. SUPREME CAPO was four-wide in the early pace mix, dropped back after passing the half-mile pole, and was uninvolved from that point. THE 1/2 MILE FRACTION WAS NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO AN EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION.

LOUISIANA SIS vied inside through the turn, gained the lead passing the quarter pole, then finished well under a steady drive holding the outside rival at bay.. KORNER STOMP was off a step slow, hustled up three-wide to vie for the early lead, went on from the quarter pole with LOUISIANA SIS, battled gamely to mid-stretch, and weakened in the final furlong while finishing well clear of the third horse. LAST TWO DOLLARS broke well, dropped well off the pace on the turn, came out four-wide and rallied for the third prize. POWERFUL ROSE broke best, gave way approaching the quarter pole, and tired in the stretch. F J'S RUSH completely missed the break, then ducked out, spotting the field a huge head start, chased the rest of the way from far back, showing mild interest in the stretch.
