MUSICAL BAND away alertly, settled to stalk the pacesetter into the first turn, held that position to the quarter pole, responded willingly when called upon to engage the leader in mid-stretch and drew away convincingly. CAJUN CUPID took the lead on the first turn, set a well rated pace on a clear lead to the head of the stretch, had no answer for the winner but ran-on well as second best. LIL CENTRAL unhurried in the early going to be near the rear of the field as they turned onto the backstretch, commenced a steady advance from five wide leaving the half mile pole and finished well on the outside to gain the show without threatening the top pair. UNINSPIRED reserved in mid-pack to the stretch and put in a mild bid splitting horses at the three-sixteenths pole and just missed the show. TOMMIE'S TRUE passed tiring rivals in the stretch while showing good late energy. SOFT HANDS tracked the leaders for three-quarters and flattened out in the lane. SHALOM went evenly. PERENNIALSPROMISE chased the pace down the backside from four wide and came up empty on the far turn. HILLBILLY'S HEART was outrun.

PASKETEE pressed the pace from between rivals while well in hand on the backside, took command on the turn, opened a clear lead in upper stretch and held the closer safe. MY CHULUPA unhurried early to be near the rear of the field, gained ground on the bend, angled eight wide and closed well to be gaining on the winner late. JOSEPH H reserved off the leaders to the quarter pole, rallied from between rivals in the four path down the lane and finished willingly for a minor award. BILLY BOWLEGS hustled early to be with the leaders for the first eighth, settled off the pacesetting trio into the turn losing ground on the bend and came on again along the inside in the stretch. RUNNING RAGGED slow early to be the trailer and showed good interest with a belated gain in the lane. SHAWN'S SOLVING hesitated at the start losing a step, rushed up on the turn and flattened out. MAYBE EYE'LL CALL broke sharply to duel on the early lead, battled to midway on the turn and weakened turning for home. FINAL HALF prompted the pace from four wide to the quarter pole and tired coming home. STAR APRIORITY was not a threat.

BLUE CHEESE slow early to be well off the pace, commenced a steady rally leaving the three-eighths pole, angled eight wide while losing the crop at the head of the stretch and finished with best bid to be clear late at the head of a blanket finish. GAME PORT tracked the leaders from the second flight to the quarter pole, forced to rally six wide and closed well to be up for the place. SCALLYWAG was well placed racing two wide saving ground through the turn, searched for racing room in upper stretch, found room along the rail, angled in to that opening and just missed the place spot with a rail bid. BIG NICKEL pressed the pace battling for the lead for a half mile and ran-on willingly through the lane in a good try. RHUM SAINT ESPRIT dueled on the lead gamely to mid-stretch and was outkicked by the closers late having done all the early work in a game effort. CRIME SPREE shuffled to the back a couple strides from the gate, was well back from the main body of the field into the turn, rallied following the winner on the bend, was fanned nine wide and showed good interest to be gaining late. MUD ON MY BOOTS stalked the pace to the top of the lane and lacked a closing punch in the final eighth. REBEL EMPIRE chased through the turn and faded to the rear in the stretch.

GIN AND TONIC pressed the pace to midway on the turn, took control nearing the quarter pole, quickly went clear in upper stretch and drew off while being kept to task in the final eighth. CANDY GIRL MISS stalked the lleaders from the inside down the backside, pulled against restraint into the turn needing to steady approaching the three-eighths pole, lost some ground, recovered quickly to rally angling three wide turning for home and finished well to be second best in a good effort. SECURITY QUEEN urged early to keep pace, raced mid-pack into the bend and mounted a steady rally to take the show. JAILHOUSE RELIGION lacked early foot finding himself well off the pace near the rear of the field, swung out eight wide turning for home and mounted a belated bid in the lane. LITTLE MILLIE broke outward into the winner away from the gate, set a pressured pace midway on the turn and ran-on through the lane weakening in the final sixteenth. COCO BELLA BLUE failed to meance. SWING BY had no impact passing weaker in the stretch. EMMY LOU'S SONG raced in contention for a half mile and tired. STYLE MAKER broke awkwardly, was slow to get into stride and never was a factor.

KENMORE WEST settled just off the pace while four wide into the first turn, edged up to the pacesetter down the backside to press, took command nearing the quarter pole, repelled the re-bid of the runner up in mid-stretch and pulled clear in the final sixteenth. TAKE CHARGE J J pressed the pace for the first three-eighths, assumed command down the backside, battled the winner turning for home on the lead, could not go with that one, tried again to challenge gamely in mid-stretch but was repelled again having to settle for second best. CAJUN MITOLE was tucked in behind the leaders in the three path to be well place, remained in striking distance to the top of the stretch and kept-on evenly, lacking a closing kick. BIG CHOPPER trailed much of the way and showed some late interest without impact. JEFFROW passed weaker rivals late while never posing a threat. CALICOCO set the pace to the five-eighths pole and steadily faded from contention after a half mile. GAMER NATE made a mild early move down the backstretch, flattened out on the far turn and gave way coming home.
