LAKE OF FIRE pressed the pace from the inside in the early stages, opted to chase the leaders through the turn, tipped out to the four path at the top of the lane and methodically picked off the remaining foes. MERLOTTI was allowed to settle into a tracking position, cued three wide at the quarter to contest the lead, took charge in the upper stretch until giving way to the winner in the final sixteenth. DISGUISED DEVIL pressed the early pace setter from the two path, took charge entering the turn, drew clear in the stretch under minimal encouragement. TRY broke alertly and claimed a ground saving lead, came under pressure from DISGUISED DEVIL and gave way shortly after entering the turn, chased that one through the turn, flattened out along the left lead, clear of the rest for the place honors. WAHIDA OF MARDAN settled off the pace, entered the stretch in the five path, improved for the show award. SHO DOMINA tracked the pace from the inside, backed off through the turn and repositioned into the three path at the top of the stretch, missed the show. NELLA tracked the pace three wide in the early stages, angled just off the rail in the upper stretch but could not close. GREEN GRACE trailed for most, passed tiring foe in the stretch. MIDNIGHT MS found a forward position four wide in the early stages, began a slow retreat midway through the turn, trailed by the three sixteenths.

ALTERNATIVE GRACE was allowed to settle off the pace on the inside, closed in through the turn and swung out at the top of the stretch for a prominent position, sustained a well timed rally just in time. NANDINA found early placement around the middle of the pack, closed in four wide through the turn to contest the lead, took charge inside the final furlong before getting nailed at the wire by an outer foe. HANABI quickly set a pressured pace, fought hard to maintain her narrow lead in the stretch but ultimately gave way in the final furlong. COME ON LADY tracked the early pace three wide, challenged the lead between runners at the top of the stretch but faltered. EPIC MOMENT applied pressure to the early pace setter, weakened down the stretch. LUTION trailed for most, passed tired foe in the stretch. DIVA LAS VEGAS never threatened.

THEN NOW 'N ALWAYS chased the early pace setter a couple lengths back, closed in to contest the lead midway through the turn, took charge at the quarter and drew clear under steady encouragement. PASSING PASSION was sent forward for an early and uncontested pace, met a bid from THEN NOW'N ALWAYS midway through the turn, relinquished command to that foe at the quarter, flattened out down the stretch while maintaining the place award. I DID THE MATH settled off the pace, showed a willing effort in the stretch to get up for the show award. HOT T'MATER chased the early pace setter from the inside, settled back a couple more lengths through the turn, failed to menace. HARPER BRIANA settled off the pace four wide, never threatened. TIZMEONEMORETIME broke inward, trailed for most, passed tired foe. CHASING SEATTLE raced off the pace on the inside, no impact.

CHRYSO ALOGO tracked the pace four wide, took to the outside at the top of the lane and showed a driving effort to be up in the final yards. AMERICAN WARRIOR settled off the pace, roused through the turn along the rail and took charge at the eighth, yielded to outer driving foe in the final yards for a gamely finish. SWEET LA CREMA pressed the pace from the inside, claimed a narrow lead at the top of the stretch, floated out into JIMMIES BIG DAY, flattened out. DUST DANCER pressed the early pace setter three wide, rubbed shoulders with JIMMIES BIG DAY in the final furlong while weakening along his inside lead. BUREAU got squeezed back at the start, trailed for most, improved position in the final quarter. JIMMIES BIG DAY claimed a narrow lead between rivals, got bumped out by SWEET LA CREMA in the upper stretch, rubbed shoulders with DUST DANCER whilst fading. WICKED GUS never factored.
