HOPE DIAMOND pressed the winner two wide, was no match for that foe in the lane but kept on well to hold the place. LIEN ON HER raced off the pace two wide and rallied for the show. PASS FAILED was clipped behind near the five-eighths marker, raced off the pace three wide and rallied belatedly. LIST saved ground and failed to menace. VANESSA'S WISH played no factor while racing three wide. THIRD KISS was outrun while racing two wide. DO I LOOK WORRIED chased the pace two wide, angled four wide turning for home and came up empty. ADULARE chased the pace three wide and retreated through the lane. ILITHYIA clipped heels near the five-eighths marker, lost the rider, completed the course riderless and walked off. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT NEAR THE FIVE-EIGHTHS POLE AND FOUND NO REASON TO ALTER THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.

NO OTHER LIKE YOU showed the way unchallenged into the first turn getting over towards the inside and then was well handled on the front end, came under coaxing when briefly challenged by the five sixteenths marker then kicked away leaving the turn and was given a few pops with the crop and kicked away to prove much the best. SIMPLY STRIKING deferred to the winner and rated two wide into the first turn, then made a bid by the five sixteenths but could not match strides with the winner leaving the turn while saving the place award. CHEEKIEST was settled early two wide moved out to be three wide entering the far turn and advanced and came four wide into the lane but needed more in the lane while besting the rest. STARSHIP SERENITY was allowed to settle along the inside early, two wide on the far turn but had no rally. IT'S HOT IN HERE (IRE) tracked the pace from the inside and fell back on the far turn and then swung out five wide leaving the turn and weakened.

NANO MAN broke out bumped STOP BEING GREEDY hard at the start, saved ground well back and rallied at the rail to gain the show. MESSAGEFROMTHEKING bumped with VALIANT WINTER at the start, chased the pace three and four wide and lacked the needed rally. VALIANT WINTER bumped at the start, raced two and three wide and never threatened. STOP BEING GREEDY was bumped hard at the start, dueled between foes and faded in the lane. WESTERN SHAFT was outrun while racing two wide.

RIPTON'S MUSIC after breaking a bit flat footed quickly recovered and showed good speed to vie for command along the inside, moved off the inside leaving the quarter pole and came three to four wide off the bend while shaking clear, then was put to a vigorous hand ride and then was ridden out in the final sixteenth to prove best. MCMULLEN pressed the pace and made a three to four wide bid by the quarter pole to vie for command, then was floated five wide off the turn by the winner and fought on willingly but had to settle for being clearly second best. NOBLE PRINCE was settled early three to two wide and came three wide into the lane, angled out nearing the furlong marker and had a belated rally to gain the show award. ARAUCANO was out-sprinted early on the inside, advanced on the inside and cut the corner leaving the turn but flattened out in the final sixteenth and lost the show award late. IDENTITY CRISIS vied for the lead in between rivals to the quarter pole then weakened in the drive. BUCCHERO'S DUDE raced on the inside early and stopped.

WISTUCKY was with the pace from the inside and then sat just off the pace entering the turn and then made a inside bid leaving the quarter pole and moved out to the two path leaving the turn to confront the winner by the three sixteenths, had a long duel with that rival but missed. SHADOW COAST vied for the early lead and then went on to set the pace in the two path entering the turn and then was engaged by the winner from his outside and then vied for command in between rivals leaving the five sixteenths and weakened in the drive. FINAL PAYMENT was off a step slow and settled early, came five wide into the lane but had no rally. BEAR CLAW NECKLACE was well placed early and close up while two to three wide on the turn but tired in the drive.

ONLY IN AMERICA set a pressured pace on the inside and then was in the two path midway on the turn and was headed and moved back to the inside but weakened in the lane. BROOKLYN GUY was five wide into the first turn, stalked the pace from the outside and made a four wide bid on the far turn but could not sustain that bid and weakened. JONATHAN'S SONG was off slowly and spotted the field three to four lengths, then made a inside middle move to be in contention to the five sixteenths marker but tired. SWASHBUCKLE was settled early and then failed to menace.

LIGHTS OF BROADWAY raced in range two wide, fell over a fallen rival leaving the eighth pole, quickly regained his feet and walked off. SOUPER DORMY stalked the pace two wide, took the lead around the far turn, drew clear in upper stretch, fell leaving the eighth pole and was euthanized. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH AND TOOK NO ACTION.

MISS ENCHANTED was settled early and moved to the outside, raced four to five wide on the turn, roused by the quarter pole and came five to six wide into the lane and proved to be no match to the top two wide besting the rest. LIBBAN chased the pace and was two to three wide on the turn but weakened. PLEASANT EMBRACE was a bit keen early and showed the way while clear racing on the inside to the two path on the turn, headed by the five sixteenths and faltered. GALLOP D'HERMES broke in a tangle and was off slowly then never factored.

STARR OF JERICHO failed to menace while racing two and three wide. OVERSEER played no factor while racing three wide. WITCHA WISH was outrun while racing three wide. SELF LOADER steadied late on the first turn, saved ground and was through early. TENNESSEE WALTZ chased the pace three wide and faded around the far turn. ROCKY LAGOON was off slow, trailed inside early, launched a four wide middle move down the backstretch, chased outside around the far turn, bore out near the quarter pole and retreated.
