DIAMONDS JOY rated off of TIME BREAK soon after the break, angled out and sped up from the outside to take over and go clear leaving the far turn, dictated the pace around the turn, responded when shaken up in upper stretch, widened past mid stretch and won under a mild drive. TIME BREAK sped to a short early advantage and secured the inside, angled out after the winner cleared leaving the far turn, pursued three wide into the stretch and continued on willingly while well clear for second. APRIL'S GEM , a bit fidgety in the gate, steadied lightly and was off slow, lagged back off the inside, circled four wide into the stretch but lacked a serious finish. LUNARCHY flashed speed to force the early pace inside, steadied into the turn, dropped back past the three eighths, remained inside for the drive but failed to make an impact.

ICEBERG SLIM broke outward and was knocked sideways when making firm contact with STROLLINWITHASHLEE, corrected and quickly opened up, set the pace just off the inside, moved away to a large lead past the five sixteenths, kept on under a steady hand ride in mid stretch, was given one right handed ask about a sixteenth out then cruised home the final yards. STROLLINWITHASHLEE , roughed up when sandwiched between rivals at the break, regrouped and was nudged up into the turn to be the closest pursuer, entered the lane three wide, drifted in when green near mid stretch, remained on his left lead but kept on with good effort to secure the place. WAGON POWER bore in and made solid contact with the runner up, straightened and chased off the inside, circled four wide into the stretch and was outkicked by an inner foe for the place. DYNO WAR drafted back well off the pace and well off the inside, circled five wide into the stretch but failed to muster up a rally. BATTLE WING , fractious in the gate, came away in good order, pursued while saving ground, remained inside for the drive and faded.

RACARINO sped to the early lead whlie off the rail, ceded to an inner foe after a furlong, prompted then bid two wide between foes to take command three furlongs out, handled outer pressure then spurted away a bit once set down in upper stretch, kept on under right handed asking inside the sixteenth marker and had enough left to deny TWIRLING ROSES. TWIRLING ROSES rated early three while stalking, edged up and bid between foes leaving the three eighths, failed to intially quicken with the winner leaving the quarter pole but stayed on to pursue, dug down to find more through the final seventy yards, closed in gamely but simply ran out of ground. JOE THE TAILOR settled early while four wide, ranged up four deep with a run near the three eighths, chased wide into the lane but came up empty through the final furlong. HILARIOUS AFFAIR had his head turned slightly just prior to the gates being sprung, broke slowly, lost ground five wide and failed to menace. ALL ABOUT TONITE broke awkwardly, angled in and rushed up to take over near the five eighths, failed to deny outer foes leaving the three eighths and faltered.
