BURNING SHORES AA hustled to front, opened up at the top of the stretch, held clear. HIGHH COUNTRY four-wide with the tracking group, sustained late bid, gained 2nd. AA TAKE A CHANCE close up early, stayed on. MAJD SON pressed the early pace inside, weakened in the stretch. WMA MADJIC SLIPPERS saved ground, no threat. RB RICH VYBES lacked any speed, never involved. MAJD STORM raced wide and trailed throughout.

NEWS AT NINE pulled hard from the break but was held up in a tracking position behind the leading pair, raced close up three-wide, swung out five-wide into the stretch, put in a good finish down the middle of the course under strong handling, got a nose in front late, and got a favorable nod to win in a tight finish. RUDDY BUDDY settled near the back and saved ground tor the first half, moved out four-wide on the far turn, advanced into contention, then finished well under strong handling and just missed. EXECUTIVE POWER vied for the lead two wide into the first turn, then backed off to a tracking position up the backstretch, moved up to challenge for the lead midway through the far turn, took the lead with a furlong to run but came up short in a blanket finish. REMEMBER BIG JIM raced at the rear of the main pack, launched a late bid from the quarter pole, closed ground, and just missed. TREVAGGIO raced in the middle of the pack, saved ground through the far turn, was finishing up well, but could not find a clear path in the late stages. GOLD PRIZE was unhurried and trailed early, dropped far behind, regained contact on the far turn, then came running late, but only managed to pass one. INITIALIZE sprinted to the lead, led all the way to the stretch, then gave way with about a furlong to go. THE JOCKEY ON #6 TREVAGGO LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE WINNER #8 NEWS AT NINE. LEILA MAE pressed the pace two-wide, was always traveling well, came into the stretch still in-hand, then responded when set down in upper stretch, gained a narrow advantage inside the furlong marker, and inched clear to the wire. STORM AFTER DARK pushed into the early pace mix, had a short lead down the backstretch, fought on when confronted by LEILA MAE on the turn, continued to duel into the stretch, but was headed in the final yards. CHAMONIX was the distant early trailer, then rallied through the stretch to gain the third prize. SERIOUS ROCK settled inside just behind the pace, swung out four wide into the stretch, lost some ground, and was only mildly gaining in the last stages. SOMAVIA vied between horses early, backed out on the turn, then tried to come back on in the stretch but lacked the needed response.

AVALON GIRL pressed the pace four-wide then two-wide through the turn, dueled with that rival through the stretch, and wore down that rival in the last jumps. STRIKE THE BELL dueled inside of a rival from the outset, traded the lead along the way, had the upper hand in upper stretch, finished well under steady handling and urging but yielded the lead in the final jumps. SAY AS I SAY raced in mid-pack and finished evenly to gain the minor award. HOT ROUTE was slow to begin, caught up with the field under a drive heading into the turn, but could sustain the effort in the late stages. RADIO GOO GOO had to be ridden too keep pace while racing four-wide, continued through the turn, then went even-paced through the stretch and failed to menace. HOT PINK raced close up along the rail, came under a ride approaching the quarter pole, and tired in the stretch.

K K'S FIRST DANCE settled in a stalking position behind the dueling leaders, chased WOLFBERRY through the stretch, graadually decreasing the gap, and was up in the last jump. WOLFBERRY dueled with JAWDROPPER from the start, gained the advantage passing the quarter pole, held gamely when confronted by K K'S FIRST DANCE, and led all but the last jump. OUTLAW BABY got off to an awkward start, then lost the path, raced between rivals near the back, steadied in traffic near the furlong marker, got a clear lane inside, and surged to gain the third prize. PURE PIZZAZZ chased in mid-pack and finished willingly, closed some ground late but was never a serious threat. BREAKER WAVE brought up the rear heading into the turn, hugged the rail through the turn, and finished with good energy. CRIME SCENE was three-wide near the back, kicked on in the stretch, but was too late. JAWDROPPER dueled inside of WOLFBERRY, then gave way in upper stretch. TRUTAP was in mid-pack and three-wide into the turn, then was outfinished in the late stages. MYTHICAL JOURNEY was inside near the back after the first quarter mile, and lacked a finish. SNEAK ATTACK chased the leaders from off the pace, then weakened in the stretch. IT'S TIME FOR ZIMA lacked any early speed and raced wide at the back of the pack to the turn, continued wide into the stretch, and never threatened.

IMAGOLDENSONG broke sharply, briefly dueled with a rival on the inside, took command passing the half-mile pole, held clear through the turn, then drew off without ever being asked. CLARISIT broke well, dueled inside of IMAGOLDENSONG to the half, dropped back, kept to task into the stretch, regained the second position, and gave futile chase of the winner. FAITH AND DEVOTION tracked four-wide down the backstretch, made a run at the leader approaching the quarter pole, never got close, but finished with good interest to be a clear third. SPEAKING OF ART got bounced around a bit after the start, then was near the back early, got over to the inside and advanced to be up with the leaders going into the turn, finished under a drive but came up short of hitting the board. SPEAKER BABY got pinched back after the start, then was the early back marker, circled the field on the turn, and sustained the bid into the stretch to improve. WITT'S DUBAI GAL close up three-wide in the middle of the field, kept to task but lacked a late kick. CHARGENLUCKY hustled up into the forward group, weakened just past the three-furlong pole, and came up empty in the stretch. EVIL TOM raced close up three-wide, came under a ride midway through the turn, but had no response. NAYAKIM was put in tight and shuffled back after the start, then raced near the back and never menaced. VANCOUVER VALOR raced five-wide early, was in range heading into the turn, but had nothing to offer late.

BAKER HAYFIELD tucked in along the rail while the pace scenario played out up front, moved up going into the far turn to gain contention, loomed four-wide at the top of the stretch, and produced a steady rally, gradually closed the gap on the leading pair, and was up in time. GAME TIME DECISION pulled hard on the rider traveling up the chute, settled between horses in the tracking group, quickened into the stretch, finished well, but could not hold off the winner in the final yards. BONFIGLIO showed good speed from the start, pulled the rider to the lead into the first turn, tried to slow down the pace through the middle stages, was able to set modest splits, then had something left when asked to kick on in the lane, battled gamely through the stretch, and came up short at the line. RENTON got forward position three-wide turning on to the main course, tracked two-wide up the backstretch close to the pacesetting duo, got stuck behind horses turing form home, finished well but was outkicked in the late stages. MCGINNIS ducked out at the start but got forward position early, opted to leave BONFIGLIO alone to dictate the pace, made a bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole, was three deep of five fanned out across the track turning for home, then was outfinished. RAVEN AND OAK was three wide near the back on to the main course, made a mild advance to be within range of the leaders approaching the quarter pole, but could do no more than chase the forward pack late and never threatened. DOES NOT COMPUTE settled well back and did not have a late kick. DOCKET was allowed to settle at the back through the early stages, and never threatened. COAL STONE threw the head at the start and was slow to begin, settled at the back of the field, and lacked a finish. MILLERS BRO settled at the back, saved ground, but never offered a rally.

WHATA MOON broke on top but ceded the front to TERRA BELLA while keeping up the pressure on that one to the outside, took the lead in upper stretch, drew clear, and held off a fast closing rival in the final yards. LOTTERY TICKET off a step slow, moved up the rail into the body of the pack, steadied off heels before the half-mile pole, continued to advance through the turn, came out three-wide at the top of the stretch, and finished strong, but could not get to the winner. SALTWATER TAFFY settled three-wide not far from the front, loomed a threat in upper stretch, finished willingly, but was not doing enough to threaten the top two. TERRA BELLA broke well and jumped out to the early lead, was under constant pressure from WHATA MOON to the outside and others in close attendance, battled gamely when confronted approaching the stretch, then weakened in the final furlong. AMADORA'S EMPIRE outpaced early, made a forward move on the turn, swung five-wide into the stretch and finished up well, but was not quite doing enough in the later stages. FLASH MASTER broke well, tracked in cover through the turn, dropped out before the quarter pole, then tired in deep stretch. COLORMECAIRO chased the field four-wide to the turn, came under pressure near the quarter pole, then was outrun through the stretch.

IMMA GOING TO WIN broke on top, dueled briefly with NOW HEAR THIS through the turn, shrugged that rival off before the quarter pole, responded when set down in upper stretch, and held clear under steady handling and urging. GIRL FROM DE BAYOU tracked close up three-wide, finished gamely but could not get to the winner. SELECTIVELY SWEET settled off the pace, was under a drive with three furlongs left to run, could not get to the top pair but bested the others; was dismounted on the clubhouse turn, vetted, and transported from the track in the equine ambulance. MATHURINE tracked four-wide, always close up, and finished with some late interest. CAPETOWN CANDY was outpaced near the back, kept to task late, and was mildly gaining late. RAZORS EDGE devoid of early speed, came four-wide into the stretch and made a mild improvement. SPICY ITALIAN was far behind early and made a belated rally to pass a couple of tired rivals in the stretch. CHECKER'S SONG raced three-wide near the rear, then stopped in the stretch. NOW HEAR THIS last away, advanced up the rail to join the leader before the half-mile pole, dueled through the turn, weakened at the five-sixteenths marker, and tired in the stretch.
