WILDCAT COUNTRY dueled inside of WIZARD OF YESTER through the early stages, maintained position when joined by a third rival leaving the quarter pole, turned back all challenges from that point, and held firm in the late stages to prevail. MR LIAM AND ALAN settled off the pace early, moved up late on the turn to bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole, had every chance but hung and was never able to get to the winner. WIZARD OF YESTER broke outward at the start, making light contact with COUNTRY CHOICE, moved up after the start to press the pace in the who path, was then joined to the outside by MR LIAM AND ALAN, vied between foes through the lane, then weakened in the final yards. PEA EYE raced three-wide to the stretch angled towards the rail in the stretch and finished well, but was not really making up any ground. VELOCITY STORM steadily dropped back after the start and was never involved. COUNTRY CHOICE took a light bump at the start, shuffled back a bit, then was the inside horse in the second pair, well off the pacesetters, then faltered in the stretch.

SWEET DARLIN got bumped at the start but still managed to contest the early pace with rivals inside and outside, held firm through the turn, then started to assert dominance in the stretch and drew off in the final furlong. TWO JET was up on the pace racing along the rail, steadied just past the half-mile pole, dropped back, kept to the inside, and came back on in the stretch to claim the second prize. CAJUN CATTITUDE took a light bump at the start, vied three-wide in the early pace mix, then was between horses bidding for the lead approaching the quarter pole, had every chance from upper stretch but flattened. LAKE MARIE hopped in the air at the start and was off slowly, rushed up to join the pace three-wide on the turn, but flattened in the stretch and was outfinished. LADY BE GONE dropped back early, chased the rest into the turn, but was unable to improve.

MARINA'S GOLD was unhurried early and settled at the back, circled the field on the far turn, took sole command passing the quarter pole, and drew clear in the stretch under steady handling. SARANAC LAKE broke well but settled close up along the rail through the early stages, came out three-wide for the stretch run, and finished well, was never getting to the winner but moved up to claim second. STRAWBERRY SUNDAE hustled from the outside post to claim the early lead, was getting some pressure from a rival to the outside on the run down the backstretch, shook that one off past the three-furlong pole, but had no answer for MARINA'S GOLD as that rival swept by late on the far turn, then was outfinished for the place while drifting out. MISSION BELLE got good position on the first turn, settled in mid-pack down the backstretch, kept to the inside through the far turn but was unale to generate a late threat. LIGHTENING MO a little wide into the first turn, raced three-wide throughout, and lacked a finish. AVERI EVER AFTER pressed the pace two-wide for the first half-mile, dropped off the pace midway through the turn, and came up empty in the stretch.

FAST CONNECTION tracked close up behind the pacesetters, slipped through an opening near the quarter pole to take the lead, and widened the margin through the stretch under steady handling. CLASSIC SENSATION was last to begin, settled well behind the main pack but ahead of a pair of trailing rivals, threaded around and through traffic from the far turn, made a good late bid along the rail to move up into second while never a threat to the winner. MATCHING FUNDS was not asked for speed from the break, then was held up in mid-pack, moved out to the three-path down the backstretch, advanced to be in range early on the far turn, swung five-wide into the stretch, and finished up well but got outfinished for second. ONGOING CHALLENGE settled off the pace three-wide, was behind horses on the far turn but took advantage of a big opening at the head of the stretch, put in a decent late bid but was not quite good enough. GOLDEN CITY STREET came away unhurried from the start, kept to task late, and improved. HILLBILLY'S HEART was prompted from the break but not fast enough to contest the early lead, settled in a tracking spot along the inside rail, hugged the rail through the far turn, then did not respond when asked to kick on in the stretch. KEOKUK KID got carried out to the middle of the track by LA MOTTA AVENUE going into the first turn, tracked close up down the backstretch, made a bid for the lead approaching the stretch, but once again got carried out wide by the same rival and was unable to recover the lost ground. SUNSET SKIP settled at the back, far behind the rest, and trailed throughout. LA MOTTA AVENUE jumped out to a clear early lead with the rider keen to temper the pace, went a bit wide into the first turn, came under a ride passing the three-furlong pole, tried to bolt on the last turn, and was eased to the finish and walked off.

REGATTA BAY tracked close up three-wide, ranged up to contest the lead near the quarter pole, then drew off in the final furlong under a brisk hand ride. A MILLION STARS tracked close up two-wide, was no match for the winner from the top of the stretch, but kept to task under heavy urging and was just up for second. SWIFT N TRAFFIC seized the early lead and slowed the pace for the first half-mile, held sway through the far turn, then could not go on with the eventual winner and was outfinished for second. Z'S GUITAR got caught four-wide into the first turn, raced in the three-path down the backstretch near the rear, made a mild middle move under a drive through the far turn, but could not sustain the bid in the late stages. FORT BONZ raced with the trio at the back, saved ground to no avail, and was never a threat. SAN JUAN HILL got shuffled back at the start, remained in a trailing position, and never offered a rally.

50¢ Pick 3 | 6- | $6.55$6.55 | $6.8K |
MISS LOUISE raced in the two-path near the back early on, made a nice mid-race move to be in range of SILENT STRIKE on the lead near the quarter pole, dueled, chased that rival through the stretch, was not making much headway, then closed the gap in the final yards and got a favorable bob at the wire. SILENT STRIKE was close to the pace but three-wide through the first turn, moved up to press the pace late on the backstretch run, took the lead near the quarter pole, then was challenged to the outside by MISS LOUISA, kept that rival at bay through most of the stretch run but lost the head bob at the wire. LINDA FAYE lacked any early speed and settled in at the back, started a sustained bid from the three-furlong pole, and finished with good late interest to gain third. MORALLY COMPLEX raced close up along the rail, did not respond when asked to kick on midway through the far turn, and evenly through the stretch and outfinished for a minor award. MOM'S HANDS showed good speed but raced in the four-path, had a narrow lead down the backstretch despite keeping to the wide path, lost some ground on the far turn while trying to bear out, then flattened out in the stretch. LITTLEBITOFAQUEEN tracked in mid-pack through the early stages, then was outkicked through the stretch.

OLE MISTER assumed command early, went ahead to a clear lead before the turn, widened to about four lengths through the turn, came into the stretch still traveling well, and maintained the clear margin to the wire under steady handling. NELLE TUE MANI got away well, ceded the lead on OLE MISTER while settling well off the pace two-deep, came under a stiff drive from the quarter pole, and responded with a mild rally, was never getting to the winner but moved up to take the second prize. CLEARLY COLOSSAL got shut off and took back after the start, rushed up under a ride to get back into the race, regained contact with the main pack before the turn, came out four-wide into the stretch, and stayed on enough to pick up the minor award. DIXIE STRONG ducked into the path of the outside rival, saved ground to the stretch, moved out to the two path, but went one-paced late and was unable to threaten. MIDNIGHT COAL lost the path after the start and had to steady, dropped far back initially, then chased the rest of the way with some mild improvement. TAUREAN got pinballed shortly after the break, tried to get back into the race but tired in the late stages and was never a factor. YAKETY YOCK was very briefly up on the pace to the inside, then suddenly dropped back through the field before going a quarter mile, and was distanced.
