SOUTHERN LADY broke through the gate prior but did not get loose, then stalked outside, chased on the turn, came four wide into the lane, angled in and rallied inside for second. MYA PAPAYA vied inside for the lead, dueled with the winner on the turn, angled outside entering the stretch, dug in to midstretch and weakened late. BETTER WITH VINO tracked on the inside, chased on the turn, came three wide into the lane and weakened.

SOFSTER tracked close up on the inside, chased on the turn, rallied inside in the stretch run, put a head in front near the sixteenth marker and drew clear late, driving. BEAUTIFUL BOLT set the pace racing off the inside, came wide into the stretch, responded when set down, dug in, then came up second best. ALLONS stalked close up outside, chased on the turn, was floated wide turning for home, then tired. SPECIAL AFFAIR was outrun early and did not factor.
