SICILIAN GRANDMA headed up the second flight up the backstretch along the inside, moved out a bit into the two path when chasing the leader into the lane, dropped back inside that one with less than a furlong remaining, challenged immediately thereafter, put a head in front late and was edging clear at the wire. FACTOR THAT broke sharply, showed the way up the backstretch in the two path, moved toward the rail late in the turn, allowed the winner the inside past the furlong marker, failed to match strides with that one in the late going, held the place under firm handling. WHAT'S CRACKIN unruly loading, broke with the field, pressed the runner up from the outside throughout while in the three path, outkicked by that same foe for the place position in the waning strides. SMART WITH HEART in the second group outside, four wide turning into the stretch, lacked a closing punch. SALAGADOOLA fell back to trail after the start, continued to lag through the turn in the two path, made little impact in the drive in picking off a single tiring rival. BROOKLYNN DREW behind the pace while between rivals and outside the winner, three wide exiting the turn, weakened in the run to the wire.
